The food is beautiful and delicious, and the staff are helpful. It's a bit pricey, but everything is listed on the menu.

We come here often and are never disappointed. We tried the unlimited brunch and it was delicious as always. 😍 A wide range of food is offered.

Location : Good in Center Ambience : Good and Comfortable Sitting Tokri Chaat : How can you call just a small Golgappa as Tokri. It was a bait. Informed chef about it. Paneer Chilly : Fine but really small cubes. Not the size for this dish. Buttermilk/Chaas: Not at all authentic. More like a Salted lassi. Missi Roti: Had craving for long but still not fulfilled. Bland..No taste. Dal Makhani : Good. Masala Dosa: Tomato Chutney was tomato sauce sauted with spices. You can actually taste Tomato sauce. Coconut Chutney was not fresh but tastes like a premix Price to Quality/Quantity ratio is really bad. Rotterdam Atithi is better. Would not visit again. Not to forget, the guy with garbage bags will walk all along the sitting area to dump it near front entrance. Unhygienic!!!

Went in for a butter chicken with naan today. My only complaint is the butter chicken did NOT come with any rice on its own. The naan i ordered was very VERY thin and very VERY small and i had to eat in a difficult way to really save my naan with the curry as i refused to order another extra naan for another €4,- For 18 eu for butter chicken you would expect at least rice or naan included with the price.. Taste wise the butter chicken was just fine. The server was kind and attentive .

Excellent vindaloo! They were very generous for exchanging the chicken for lamb. We got offered an appetizer. Their service was very professional, warm, and the food a delight. It's the little things that make one enjoy life, food and company, and this restaurant definitely understands that. Thank you Manjeet and your team!

Delicious food - but be careful if you can't tolerate spicy food!

We had a great lunch, food was amazing and service from Mr. Navjot was very courteous and friendly. Thanks for the flexibility as well, we just reached 10 minutes before kitchen closes and Mr. Navjot ensured that we were served whatever we wanted to eat and not rushed in to anything.

⭐️ 1 star – very disappointing experience Today we visited this Indian restaurant in The Hague because it was my wife's birthday. Unfortunately, the evening turned into a very disappointing experience. Communication and service were very poor from the start. We had to wait a long time to order, and the food ultimately took about an hour to arrive. We had to look for someone ourselves several times, and hardly anyone came to our table on their own initiative to ask if everything was to our liking. The most disappointing thing was that part of our order was ultimately not brought at all. By then, we had already finished eating. Honestly, I assumed the order would still be brought, with at least a sincere apology and perhaps some form of leniency. For us, it wasn't about money or free food. It was about respect for the customer and acknowledging a mistake. A simple: “We are sorry, this didn't go well, our apologies” would have made a big difference. Instead, an attempt was made to convince us that there was a misunderstanding, and a fabricated story was told around it. When I indicated that I simply wanted to pay and leave, as I didn't want the evening ruined any further, they still insisted on an explanation of exactly what was wrong. Furthermore, during or after the meal, no one asked if everything was to our liking, for example, how we liked the food and the spiciness. In short: very poor service, poor communication, and little regard for the customer. Especially since it was my wife's birthday, we really expected something different from this. That is why I am unfortunately giving 1 star. Not because of one mistake in itself, but mainly because of the way it was handled.

We had ordered the Maharaja Thali and Mr Navjot was super enthusiastic about serving us. He kindly explained each and every dish served on the Thali. The food itself was also super good. The portions were perfectly sized considering the number of dishes included in the Thali. I'd highly recommend Atithi and the Maharaja Thali to anyone who asks. Keep in mind that you really have to go on an empty stomach to do justice to the Maharaja Thali!!

What made the visit even more special was meeting the owner Mr. Manjeet, who turned out to be from my hometown. It was such a pleasant surprise and made us feel truly welcome. The warm hospitality and friendly conversation added a personal touch to the great food.

Had dinner here with my boyfriend two weeks ago and have been sick ever since. The place did not look clean, staff was hard to get a hold of and food did not seem fresh. Would not recommend going here, especially as a vegetarian.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and really liked the ambience and overall vibe. However, the tables for one or two people were quite small. I ordered a starter and Chole Bhature. Although there were only a few other customers, the food took nearly 20 minutes to arrive. The starter was good, but the Chole Bhature was average. What disappointed me most was the service related to a simple request. The dish came with only two small pieces of onion, so I asked the server for some extra. He immediately took out his phone and started adding it to the bill, so I told him I no longer wanted it. I had no issue paying for it, but as someone familiar with Indian cuisine, I found it disappointing that such a basic accompaniment was treated this way. From that moment, the overall experience and vibe went downhill for me. However, while paying the bill, I shared my experience with another staff member, who turned out to be the manager. He was very understanding and supportive. He even offered me something complimentary to make up for the experience, which I politely declined. I appreciated the way he handled the situation, listened to my feedback, and thanked me for the suggestions. Overall, the ambiance was pleasant, and the manager handled the complaint professionally, but the food and service experience could definitely be improved.

Food was very tasty, but we had to pay separately for rice 5 euros, as the curry doesn’t come with it.

The food was excellent, really very good indeed. I can recommend the lamb rogan josh. Super tender, bursting with flavour and the perfect amount of spice and heat. The Roti were good too. The service was fantastic, the only reason I marked it down to 4 was due to waiting for the bill for 20 mins. All the staff were great; but Manjeet was the best. I highly encourage anyone to visit who is seeking something really close to authentic South Indian cuisine in mainland Europe
