We had a delicious meal! We had the chicken tikka masala and the butter chicken with rice, and ordered a garlic naan on the side. The service was also very friendly. There were no other people sitting there besides us, but definitely don't let that put you off if you enjoy Indian food!

Grill N Spice Indian Restaurant: Is one the very worst restaurant in The Hague, All, don’t try this restaurant. I went with my family…This is not an Indian restaurant, all the items we ordered were not good at all, no taste, no quality, Biriyani taste like 2 days old like bisibelebath, chicken samosa had Rotten smell in the stuffed chicken and raita without onions. My son had stomach upset after we reach back home in just 2hrs.. No sink to wash hands. use toilet sink to wash your hands. Quantity wise also not worth for money. All together its a cheating restaurant. People please don’t try this..4.6 rating is really cheating to believe. Very worst experience. Spent ~100 euro’s all waste. Please don't cheat peoples with low quality unhygienic food.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Indian cuisine. Generous portions of good quality. The spice level is good. Often medium-spice is just mild, but here it is indeed medium. The service is friendly. The restaurant is not high-end, but neither is the price...

We had a fantastic meal last night in a completely deserted restaurant. It's a shame, because the dining experience is highly recommended. The chicken samosas and onion rings were absolutely fantastic. The samosa was generously filled and crispy. For our main courses, we had tandoori chicken and the lamb Rogen Josh and Butter Chicken curries. Both curries tasted exactly as you'd expect from a good Indian restaurant. Delicious sauce and super tender meat. The tandoori was also delicious, but order a sauce with it. I regularly use Tilda basmati rice, but it doesn't quite match the delicious basmati rice served with the dishes. Oh, and the wine glasses were well-filled, and the Indian beer Kingfisher is excellent. In short, highly recommended!

Fantastic food and lovely service! Definitely worth the good price

The people were generally nice. Unfortunately, the restaurant was cold, and I ate with a coat on. My lamb dish was good and the portion generous, but the vegetable korma was very disappointing. Actually, it was bad.

My husband and I went in planning to order a curry, but the staff member advised us to choose the tandoori mixed platter instead, saying it was a better option. We followed the recommendation. Unfortunately, the meat tasted old and not fresh, which made us concerned that older products were being used. Both my husband and I became very sick afterwards. The naan was also not fresh — it was hard and cracker-like instead of soft, as naan should be. Based on this experience, I don’t think I would eat here again.

Small portions for a lot of money

Dont grab the water on the table! Its kosts 6.60, its not free! Not nice :-(. Then they also almost didnt allow us to take the bottle with us unless you pay another 35 cent, She said you paid for the water and not the bottle. But we said others did and we didnt finnished it. It should be written that its priced extra. If this didnt happen it would be more stars. It was a water Scam! Food was further good though, except that there was a extra spicy pepper hidden in it while we had ordered not/less spicy. Felt like a scam because of this as we had to use the water as an emergency. It's a pity because the rest of the food was nice. The guy was also nice, the woman was in the end not really friendly and greedy.

A wonderful evening. The food was delicious. We had the tiki masala and butter chicken. Absolutely fantastic!

Poor experience. Food cheaper than the standard Indian restaurant but that was because the food was tasteless. Service was not good either. Noone asked how my meal was. The woman taking the order was on the phone the whole time.

Indian place ran by a very kind couple. Tasty food and calm ambience. We had the paneer butter masala and the paneer with spinach.

Lovely meal. As an Indian person eating Indian food whenever I travel, this is bar none some of the best I’ve had. Great price, great service and even better flavour.

The food was nice but less for the price and expensive. A naan was almost 5euro which is expensive. The place was not smelling so nice and there were wasp,fly and even we saw a moth.It needs some cleaniness.

This place is incredible. Had the butter chicken with garlic naan and it absolutely SLAPPED. Rich, creamy, perfect spice balance, and the naan was fluffy and buttery heaven. Portion was huge – I ate for half an hour straight. Bit pricey, but 100% worth it.

I've been here twice and it was completely empty both times except for my group. Honestly I'm shocked they don't get more business because the food is REALLY good.

The owners and the chef are not Indian but Bangladeshi, so the food was accordingly poorly seasoned and spiced and not tasty.

Great place for eating Asian food

I had the paneer butter masala and chicken biryani—both were well prepared. The chicken portion in the biryani was generous. Overall, if I'm in town and craving Indian cuisine, I’d definitely go there again.

Delicious Indian food, a wide range of dishes. We ordered a curry chicken and chicken biryani, and it was fantastic. It was even better with the fresh garlic naan bread, so I recommend ordering it in addition to the main dish.

The is the great restaurant in the den haag,Their decorations,staff and food was just superb.Specially butter chicken, Chicken Madras. The Mango lucchi was yummy.Overall that was good.

My boyfriend and I (tourist) dined in and the food was fantastic. To start off with drinks we each had water and got a lassie my boyfriend got the mango banana and I got the mango .The were so delicious and creamy so we ended up getting another at the end. We got starters the lamb samosas and the cheese naan they were so light but chewy, super good with butter chicken sauce. For entrées I had got the butter chicken mild and my boyfriend got the lamb Josh. We were pleasantly surprised with the lamb Josh fullness and its spice. Everything was very good and to end the meal we ordered a strawberry lassie and got the pistachio kolfi. Very fresh flavors and everything seemed to be made fresh!! 10/10 coming back before we leave the city . The menu has a great variety and thoughtful explanations as well .

The food was okay, but the service was incredibly bad. No one ever came around, which was super annoying when you wanted to order another drink. We also waited an eternity for our food in the cold restaurant, even though there were hardly any other customers on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

Honestly the best authentic Indian kitchen I’ve eaten in many years. My girlfriend ordered chicken Rogan Josh and I ordered the vindaloo extra spicy. Both dishes were fantastic! The owner and waitress are super friendly. I recommend this restaurant for 100%.

Hier kun je echt Indiaas eten. De gerechten zijn hoog op smaak. We komen hier bijna wekelijks. Chili paneer en palak paneer zijn mijn favoriet.

Atmosphere is alright but you have to come here for the food!!! Nice menu with lots of choice for reasonable prices. Seasoning was great on every dish!!! Shame to see so few people there because the place deserves more customers for sure! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

Truly delicious and tasty!! We had a tandoori mix starter, tandoori chicken with naan, and chicken tikka masala. The lassi was also superb! Unfortunately, we were almost the only guests on a Thursday evening.

So nice we had to do it twice! My wife and I really enjoy Indian cuisine and while it wasn’t what we expected to eat for our first lunch in The Hague, we enjoyed it so much that we simply had to return on our final night for dinner. If you’re looking for great food and outstanding service, look no further!

The menu on the website is not up to date. The prices on the menu in the restaurant (see photos) are more expensive than mentioned on the website. We ordered a butter chicken and a vegetable kashmiri (vegetarian). The butter chicken was not good, it lacked of the most important ingrediënt namely butter. The vegetable kashmiri only had one lychee and one small piece of mango. We also ordered plain naan which was good. Service could be better. The way how the food was served could have been more gentle. Overall, pricey for what you get especially if the most important ingredients are left out of the dishes.

great service. good environment that their customers speak in low valumn. average food. The starter sheek kebab was spicy. Flavour wise, was a bit plate. Samosa was great in texture. Stuffing was a little dry, but overall was good with the sauce. Main dishes, chicken tikka masala was great. Was my first time found cocout milk, which brought the flavor up. Tikka masala sauce was very mild, gentle and multiple layers. Was great. Seabas was a totally dried out. Fish oil and juice were gone. Thick in herb on fish skin, however, didn't taste the fish original flavor which i was looking forward to. Very pity. Service was definately a plus. 1 start earned from.

We ordered a chicken tikka and a chicken masala, and they were both incredibly flavorful. The chicken tikka came with Naan flatbread, while the chicken masala was served with rice and a small bowl of salad. The blend of flavors was just right – not too spicy or overpowering. We also tried the Aloo Naan, which had potato in it, but I found that I preferred the butter naan more. The bread was served piping hot, making it even more delicious. The restaurant had a cozy and clean atmosphere with friendly staff. The only downside was that they automatically included the tips in the card payment without asking us if we wanted to do so, or how much we'd like to tip.

We went to Grill N Spice because of the good ratings and it was a good choice. The interior is not fancy but clean with nice furniture and without what we might think of as „Indian decoration“. The food was great and the staff very friendly. I‘d go again.

Excelente ubicación justo en el corazón de la ciudad. Nosotros como grupo realmente tuvimos una noche divertida. Restaurante es bueno para grupos grandes o espacios separados de la familia. Manager era muy servicial en la selección de comida y vino. Tomamos parrilla y pollo tikka masala con panes nan. La comida es buena y la parrilla es muy agradable con música ligera en el fondo. El servicio fue genial. Sin duda volveríamos. Limpio e higiénico.

Very great Indian restaurant with great authentic flavors and food. The mango Lassi was made on the spot and was delicious so definitely try that one! Overall good price and quality/quantity.

This restaurant could be so much better if they do a make-over. The food is very good but it’s kinda hard to enjoy when there are flies flying around you, pretty nasty. Also whenever someone used the toilet, this horrible smell would waft through the dinning area. The staff was friendly though and once again, the food is very good.

We have already wisited this place for four times and I can absolutely recomend all dishes we had here. Service is fast, owner is friendly, not crowdy. The place has undeservedly low amount of visitors. The dishes we have tried are: Masala chaas Sheek kebab Samosa Dal Roghen josh Naan plain and stuffed with cheese Prawn masala curry Korma curry Rasmalai Gulab jamun

It was by far the best Indian curry I've ever had!! (Eating butter curry) It was sour at first, unlike other butter curries, but the taste made it go away! At first, I was a little confused when they asked me for a dollar when I tried to use the restroom without knowing that I was a restaurant customer, but after ordering my food, they told me that I was a customer and could use it as much as I wanted. If you order curry, rice comes with it, and naan is ordered separately, but I think it's okay for two women to share 2 curries and 1 naan haha.

Very nice and cosy place on the centre of den haag.I enjoyed the grill whole fish and my partner enjoyed the mix grill with cheese naan both recommend.Butter chicken with butter naan is really delicious.For dessert we had cheesecake and banana split was comforting after a heavy meal.i love the ambience and food with very friendly owners.i would come back for more.
