I had a not-so-great fry and quickly got a new one. That one was delicious.

Unfriendly! Clearly doesn't know how to address customers. We won't be coming back.

The best vending machine in the world!!! We were in Madagascar recently and thought, if only Marks were here!!!

Paid, but the machine wouldn't open. Refused to give change or hand over a snack. Money was supposed to be refunded 'automatically' after a few hours. It wasn't...

I'm not from Eindhoven, but I've been coming here since my student days in the eighties. This place is a household name in Eindhoven. The fries and snacks are excellent. And the staff is always friendly. An old-fashioned vending machine shop, just as it should be. Never change it! I came here as a young lad and now I come with my grandchildren.

The service is super, if the friendly "older" man is working. He is so nice, helpful. The ither man, not so much. But crispy fries, great ice cream. Nice to sit in the pedestrian street. The prices are ok too.

The best fries in the city center. And don't forget the tastiest homemade snacks, with the best sauces.

Is this fresh, sir? It's piping hot and hard. The bottom is brown, it's tough, it just doesn't taste good. Yeah, well, then you have to order it. Okay, so the conclusion is that you're throwing old stuff in your towing machine? The prices have gone up, but unfortunately, the quality hasn't. Sund, I've been coming here for so long.

What scammers here! The snack flap wouldn't open. According to an employee, this story had already been told a thousand times to customers and the money would surely be refunded. Well, we've never seen this happen, and giving away a frikandel was out of the question. Shame on us.

Best fries I've had in a long time. Excellent value. In this economy, a large special fries for under €5 is truly bizarre. Surely FRESH FRIES?! I've been going to snack bars for years for the perfect special fries with the right ratio of sauce to fries and quantity. A special fries is over €6 now and often too little sauce, etc. This owner is the last one doing good business!! As an independent, I feel we should support this business, because it's a gem.

I ordered takeout fries, as I've been doing for years. The amount of sauce and fries for takeout is getting smaller and smaller. There was very little satay sauce, and the large fries were just as big as the small ones. Unfortunately, I still paid the price for a large fries.

I liked it. The idea is very interesting – 2.7€ and after choosing a row of food boxes you have the right to choose what you want :) A delicious, warm snack. There was one with rice and vegetables, and the other was like chicken nuggets :)

Good place to come and eat croquettes, not too crowded and good.

Very tasty fries and snacks. I ordered fries with mayo and a goulash croquette here yesterday. It was truly delicious. But what's important is the price. I paid €5 and a half. In my city, I pay €6.80 for the same thing. Not nearly as good as this. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Eindhoven.

I ordered fries and wanted to pay by card. I briefly forgot my PIN, which interrupted the transaction. After that, the card machine wouldn't work. The man angrily told me it was my card that had gone haywire. I couldn't believe my ears! Very unfriendly and disrespectful. I canceled my order and ate somewhere else where the card machine worked perfectly. I'll never go back there again...

Great automats. It has fried chicken, croquettes etc. It even has some seating areas to sit and eat. They do sell some drinks as well.

Man got mad because my €10 was a bit dirty.

We ate fries, each with a different topping: peanut sauce, mayonnaise, meat – each option was very good. The atmosphere – it's a pedestrian street in the city center, so I won't elaborate on that. The staff – the guy was either tired, in a bad mood, or didn't like Poles – didn't even bother to return our greetings as we left.

A great snack bar, I am from England and don't understand why we don't have any Dutch snack bars. This was a very good one, the fries were cooked really well, and I tried over a few days a lot of the snacks, Goulash kroket and Saté kroket were awesome, only the Kaas souffle was a little dry from the vending machine.

Mexicano with satay sauce ordered separately. While the gentleman is putting the satay sauce in the container, some leaks onto his hand. He licks it off his hand and then takes my Mexicano. When I commented, he said that he had grabbed my Mexicano with the other hand after licking his hand. I thought late, but I accepted that Mexicano and then threw it away a few meters later. Very unsanitary and unappetizing.

Perfect sunny sitting area. Tasty snacks, friets and Dutch croquettes.

I love the seating area. It's shaded from the sun, making it a lovely place to sit and observe. The man at the counter was friendly, and I absolutely enjoyed the Dutch food from the wall. I tried the potato war fries and croquette, along with the vegetarian option and chicken from the machine. Everything was delicious!

Always good food here. Fresh fries that are fried in solid fat. Decent prices. A typical nice city chip shop to have something to eat during a visit to Eindhoven

Tastiest Bami blocks in the Netherlands!! And some delicious fries with double mayo, also terribly delicious! Whenever we are in the center of Eindhoven, this is the place where we always have a bite to eat, delicious! See you again soon 😀

We had a typical local lunch snack here. A cold drink was also consumed. Few seats and only in the outside area, so a bit cool. Food was good. Can be done again.

Always stop by Marks in the center. I have come to the conclusion that since there has been a different owner, the quality has deteriorated. Peerke could make fries like the best. Now I can no longer say that I ate a delicious fries. I think I'll look for a new chip shop.

Ich liebe diese niederländische Form von Fast Food, diese niederländische Form von Imbiss. Es gibt eine vielfältige Auswahl der bekannten Fast Food Klassiker sowie Pommes, Softeis und verschiedene Getränke. Normalerweise gibt es immer ein Geldwechselautomat. Hier gibt es eine kleine Holztür mit einer Klingel. Hier kommt nach dem Klingeln ein Mitarbeiter und wechselt Geld, ebenfalls kann man einen Wunsch äußern wenn mal etwas gerade aus ist. Wir hatten Kroket, Bami und Pommes. Alles war sehr lecker, frisch und heiß. Auch die Sate Sauce war sehr lecker und pikant.

Goede friet voor een degelijke prijs. De beste frietzaak in het centrum van Eindhoven! Hun gehaktbal uit de jus is ook erg lekker, geen slappe jus maar echt jus Met uitjes!

Marks is top voor een frietje met snack. Niet nóg meer paneer om de verse bami en nasi jongens. Dat is echt niet lekker meer.

Leuke, nostalgische frietzaak. Sinds 1958 trokken de eerste mensen hier al de handgemaakte kroketten uit de muur. Een fenomeen wat toen helemaal nieuw was. Later kwamen er diverse snacks bij en kon je een frietje halen bij de balie / vitrine. Al snel werd Automatiek Marks een begrip in de Eindhovense binnenstad. Ook ik kwam er al vroeg toen ik vanuit Best met mijn moeder de stad in ging. Hier vind je de lekkerste friet, gemaakt van verse aardappelen, en heerlijke snacks, waaronder ook handgemaakte. Die schijnen super lekker te zijn! Een aardige, gezellige man en een terrasje bij mooi weer, maakt alles compleet.

Altijd goede en lekkere snacks. Friet is ook erg goed. Vriendelijke medewerkers. Waar voor je geld. Goede porties.

Van ooit heerlijke volle handgemaakte snacks naar nu sterk afeslankte hap (keuze om prijzen constant te houden maar besparen op kwantiteit en kwaliteit, zonde…). De bami is qua vulling zo’n beetje gehalveerd in paar jaar tijd

Prima zaak, aardig en goed personeel. Hier hebben ze de lekkerste zelfgemaakte snacks en de friet is hier ook uitstekend. Hulde voor deze zaak. Een dikke TIEN!

Fries tasted fresh and good. Mayonnaise was very tasty. Overall great fries with mayonnaise combo for 2.7 euros.

Al tientallen jaren een begrip in Eindhoven. Al sinds mijn jeugd een vaste stop voor een snelle hap. Zeer goede friet en een van de weinig plaatsen in Nederland waar nog een nierbroodje kan worden gegeten ! Voor wie het niet weet, een nierbroodje heeft niets te maken met nieren maar bestaat uit een half sneedje brood met daarop ragout zoals een kroket met daar omheen een jasje van paneermeel, heerlijk !

Nu met coronaregels is het bestellen en meenemen. Of staand blijven eten....

Uiterst vriendelijke man, we eten hier graag een frietje!
