Chinese food requires reservations. The food is very authentic, tasting very similar to what I've had in China. The salted duck is fantastic, simple yet delicious.

The worst food I have ever eaten in my life. I was incredibly hungry and thought I would get tasty Chinese food here, but the dish I ordered didn't look anything like the photos on Google Maps. The noodles were undercooked and the beef was of very poor quality: instead of meat, it was full of fat. Although they had plenty of time to prepare the food and there were hardly any customers, the quality was truly terrible. My friend ordered a hamburger but received a cold, barely cooked mini-burger with a piece of meat that weighed barely 100 grams. Even the fries, which normally have a standard quality almost everywhere, were not tasty. They were clearly not freshly fried, but merely reheated and sprinkled with seasoned salt. For the price we paid and the quality we received, this feels like a pure rip-off. Despite being incredibly hungry, I couldn't even eat a quarter of my meal. If I could have given 0 stars, I would have done so without a doubt. Even 1 star is actually too much.

I was working across the street and thought, Belgian fries? I'm going to give that a try. They were delicious. Very friendly service. It is also an Asian eatery. Maybe something for next time.

Ordered mushroom sauce today but didn't see any mushrooms. The sauce was tasteless, the satay sauce wasn't very flavorful either, and the fries were just like potato chips, so hard.

Yes, the food is otherwise fine, but it has become very expensive... Brussels eatery (Kastelenplein) or Cafeteria Conny are much more affordable.

Also, since it's a small shop, you MUST pre-order authentic dishes at least 24 hours in advance on weekdays, and even earlier for weekends!

Not only do they sell the standard fries and snacks, but they also offer delicious noodle soups and traditional Chinese dishes. Not the kind of food you'd expect to find in a snack bar, but surprisingly good! The dishes are prepared traditionally, are reasonably priced, and the portions are generous. Well worth a try. My dad is picky about food, but even he approved 🤭 Very friendly owners with good service who are hardworking.

Delicious fresh fries and delicious satay sauce

Perfect chip shop. The fries taste deliciously crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Very helpful, flexible, friendly, and hardworking owner and staff. A big reason to choose this place over the chip shop around the corner.

Delicious fries, lots of choice and friendly service

We came here because of other reviews. From the outside, this place doesn’t look like it has hidden menu. I think this place is originally a Dutch snack bar with menu high up right behind the counter. The Chinese noodles menu is on the left side wall from the counter. There are only few selections. We tried 4 different types of noodles; braised beef, sliced beef, pork belly, and wonton. They were all tasty, the broth/soup is rich in flavor, been cooked for hours. The place was just opened, so it was only us. Cozy enough for a sunday’s lunch in the neighborhood.

The service was okay, it was a bit slow, but that is because there are plenty of people there. The food was insane, delicious! Like it! The atmosphere is good, there are like 10 or more people in there.

Today I had fries and a milkshake, my friend found a hair in his food. They offered to make new fries, but he didn't have to. Shortly after eating we both also had stomach problems. At home I was in bed for about 3 hours with a stomach ache. Unfortunately the food was not that good. The service again!

Een van de slechtste zaken die ik bezocht heb. Binnen ziet het er heel rommelig uit. Had een broodje kroket besteld. Kroket was gewoon helemaal koud. Hoe moeilijk kan het zijn om een kroketje goed te frituren. Vroeger toen er de 2 nederlandse mannen in zaten was het een top zaak en hingen ze met de benen buiten.

Uitzonderlijk klantvriendelijk en lekkere friet

Taaie friet helaas. Verbrandde olie smaak dus wordt niet vaak ververst. Pand is klein en dus weinig plek om even rustig te zitten. Terwijl jij lekker aan het eten bent staat er een halve meter verder iemand te wachten op zijn of haar bestelling. Zeer irritant.

Ik ging hier als kind al heen sinds de oude eigenaar , en kom er nou ook nog tot de dag vandaag. Ik ben zeer te vreden ,ook in deze moeilijkere tijden doet de zaak het goed. Natuurlijk gaat het ooit fout kwa drukte of tijd druk. Ik werk er nou sinds twee maanden ,ik zie en merk zelf wel dat het soms kwa tijd en personeel soms lastig is. Naar mijn ervaaring willen m'n baas en collega's er alles aan doen om jou te laten ervaren en het beste te bieden. om jou lunch, dinner of tussen door snack moment het beste moment van te maken. Naar mijn mening is wel dat we nog vaak mensen te kort komen. Ik raad de Potato-king wel aan als goede snackbar maar ook als leuke bij baan en werk omgeving! For me the best snackbar in Eindhoven. Always friendly, always fast. Open to suggestions. The fries are always cooked to perfection. The owner is always in for a conversation. It is my favorite snackbar!!! Update: since last month the snackbar has a new owner. The previous owner sold it after more than a decade. Good luck to the new owner.

Lekkere krulfrieten en vegetarische opties zoals de vega kipcorn! Good vegetarian options like vegetarian chicken (kipcorn) and twisterfries. Ze hebben ook lange vloei.

Super lekkere friet zonder al te veel kleine harde stukjes en totaal niet vet. Stoofvlees was goed gekruid, goed warm en mals. Mijn vriend had de bamischotel speciaal en vond die geweldig!!!! We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Tot nu toe vind ik dit de beste friettent in Gestel.

Kleine snackbar met aardige mensen. Wat je verwacht krijg je daar ook maar dan met een gezellig praatje en je patat wordt naar je plek aan de eetbar (met uitzicht op het aangrenzende terras en weg) gebracht. Alles is lekker schoon en de patat is goed gebakken en knapperig! Lekker! :)

Friet was hard gebakken voor mij is dat geen probleem. Voor de rest uitstekende prijs- / kwaliteit verhouding.
