Aziatische keuken Oishi in Veghel

Ordered food around 8:00 PM, it is now 1.5 hours later (9:34 PM) and I still haven't received my food. I called up to 3 times and the last time someone answered, but I couldn't get anyone on the line, I only heard things in the background. I wouldn't order here, and if it starts like this, I would never eat here. Fortunately, I'm not the only one who thinks this way, judging by the reviews. Bad business :)

It used to be very good, but it seems like there is a new chef. The sushi was tasteless the last few times. No more Oishi for me.

Yesterday, we ate at Oishi in Veghel via Social Deal. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. After a long wait and our first round of drinks, we were finally told that the salmon was sold out and that no more salmon dishes could be ordered. If you come specifically for sushi and salmon dishes, that is a huge letdown. As a result, about 15 small dishes were no longer available to order. What I find particularly unfortunate is that this was not mentioned immediately upon arrival. Then we could at least have decided beforehand whether we still wanted to eat here. Additionally, we unfortunately felt that the food and the general hygiene/presentation did not come across as very fresh. That made the experience even less pleasant. So, for us, it was a disappointing evening. It is a shame, because we had actually been looking forward to it. Hopefully, something will be done about the communication regarding missing dishes and the hygiene, because this really could be better.

We ordered food and it took 2 hours to arrive. The delivery driver was very rude and indicated that he didn't give a damn about us. We were very dissatisfied with this; we will certainly never order from here again!

Delicious sushi variations. The waitress was friendly, the service was quick, and the food arrived promptly. If you order spicy, you get spicy. The quality of the sushi was absolutely top-notch. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended! The restaurant is located at the market, right on the street.

The food wasn't great. We came for the special offer, but because of the dinner voucher, we couldn't use it and ended up having to pay extra anyway. I do not recommend this place.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. After 70 minutes, I got a call saying it wouldn't be coming today due to the high volume. You know that at the time of ordering, right?? The only other option on this Whitsun day is McDonald's or Kebab..

My boyfriend and I ate here last Monday. It was wonderfully quiet and the service was superb! I haven't had such a delicious meal in ages!

Service is very slow. It's clear they're trying to run for time. The wait for drinks is incredibly long. And the tapas menu is absolutely not worth it. You'll have to wait a very long time to get your beer or wine.

food was not tasty. I thought mango was apple because it had a texture of apple. All sushi have same filling, avocado and crab. Why udon noodles were chopped in 3cm? Do we have to eat noodles with spoons? Not chopsticks? And some dishes were too purely salty. one meat was like rubber. but mostly were okay though. And we came at 6pm and our last dish came around 9pm. It is only 3 course of food.. we ordered the food right after we finished food but we just waited for the food.. for too long. but the service is very kind with lovely smile. music was too small we could hear our own eating sounds the music were tate mcrae, Harry styles, the neighbourhood, one direction, Ariana grande,.. didnt feel good music for a restaurant.. the interior is good, couples can have quiet and calm dinner.

Ordered soup and noodles with chicken; it was supposed to come with egg and vegetables. There was 1.5 pieces of chicken, no egg, and just a few strands of vegetables. (And no, the egg didn't ‘disappear’ during the stir-frying. Best restaurant.) Furthermore, it looked like some kind of greasy, overcooked noodles... nothing Thai about it. The soup was meh, okay, but not of super quality either. Then I called. I had to figure out myself how to resolve it. And then... ‘It will be noted, ma'am, and next time you will get a discount.’ Well... but I don't want to order here next time. Spent 35 euros and then having to fry an egg myself to add it... as a restaurant, you just don't get it that way when you offer a discount. Very disappointing!

Ordered regularly. The dishes are good. The order is almost always delivered much too late. Unfortunately, being half an hour late is not uncommon.

Ordered food for delivery, arrived 15 minutes later than indicated, and the tempura shrimp were cold and the yakitori skewers were cold and tough. That was the last time.

I didn't receive what I ordered online. I called the restaurant, but they couldn't offer a solution. The sushi quality was also very poor. It's a shame considering you paid around €40.

We had another delicious meal and tried several places, but this one is definitely number 1. 🍴

After having it delivered a few times, I finally chose the new tapas menu. The food was delicious! The service was friendly and welcoming. However, there's still room for improvement in the atmosphere.

Disappointing. The tables weren't clean. Paper menus for tapas had food scraps from previous guests on them. The chicken curry masala was tasteless, with dry chicken and lukewarm rice. When I asked if I enjoyed it, the waitress laughed when I said it wasn't good and why. Too bad. We won't be back.

The 3 x 3 tapas concept appealed to us. Everything was delicious, fresh, and the meat tender. There were no real standouts, but unfortunately, for us seniors, it was a bit too much. The wine was subpar, even literally, and the red Merlot was too sweet. Despite the tasteful decor, we were a bit disappointed with the atmosphere, possibly because we were the only guests inside.

Super delicious! The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It's a shame not everyone knows about this wonderful restaurant; I was and still am very satisfied!

First experience with sushi. I really enjoyed it!

Last week, I placed an order for sushi delivery through the website. I hadn't had any experience with this restaurant before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was delicious, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The delivery driver was a little late, but very friendly. I definitely recommend ordering from them again!

A disappointing experience. We were looking forward to a pleasant Valentine's Day dinner, but we were disappointed. We opted for the new tapas concept. After ordering the first round, the staff completely ignored us and seemed to have forgotten about us. We spoke to two different waitresses and were told they would inquire with the kitchen. No result. After an hour and a half of waiting, we decided we'd had enough and left without eating anything. No apology was offered. A shame. The live music, however, was wonderful and alleviated our disappointment somewhat. We won't be returning.

Ordered food for 3 people tonight after work at 7:50 PM. This was supposed to be delivered at 8:40 PM, but at 10:00 PM there was still no delivery person... tried to call Oishi several times, but no answer... now they are closed, we are without food and we have lost our money.... Terrible!! Never order here again!!

Waited longer than an hour compared to the planned delivery time. Called twice, but received no compensation for the inconvenience. The food was fine, but we won't order from here again.

An hour and a half late and cold food!! Not to eat. Too bad you can't give 0 stars.

Delicious tapas, worth repeating again soon

Definitely DO NOT go here to eat! What a worthless service! The staff pays no attention to you at all and is only concerned with each other and all conversations can be heard loudly. In the end they just sit and eat fries while there are still guests eating in the restaurant... If you indicate this, you will only get an apology, which is useful to you. NEVER AGAIN

Had dinner there for the first time tonight. And also the last time. After about an hour we only received our starters, even though there were only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant. Service is downright rude, staff talk loudly to each other, there is no attention for the customers at all, staff also just sit in the restaurant to eat fries (which were bought from the local cafeteria), even the owner is there and doesn't interest her at all! Worthless place, don't go here!

I didn't know this restaurant and was simply surprised. It was a delightful surprise, very tasty Asian Tapas and definitely worth repeating! It was all handmade and a little different from regular Sushi 🍣! Also very friendly and compliments to the Chef!

We waited a very long time. The food was over salted. The chicken masala was a big disappointment. Serving in the form of a thin soup... it was the first time I had potatoes in this dish. Unfortunately, the potatoes were tasteless. We canceled the dessert order when we found out that we would have to wait a long time after the main course. I do not recommend.

Nice atmosphere, excellent sushi, it's a pity that allergies are not taken into account, we indicated that someone in our party has an allergy. But still had a reaction due to cross-contamination. We also had to wait 50 minutes for our food. Simply a pity.

In het begin ging het goed, vlot we hadden ons voorgerecht en was erg lekker. Toen we de volgende gang wilden bestellen moesten we 3 KWARTIER wachten. Oja we hadden ook nog wijn en bier besteld en na een HALF UUR kwam de bediening en zei dat de wijn op was. Sorry hoor maar dat duurt wel heel lang en toen we eindelijk gingen eten van de sushi vroegen we of we wasabi konden krijgen na 5 minuten kregen we het (toen hadden we het al op) Excuses waren wel op zijn plaats geweest. En de wijn en bier kwam pas na het eten. We wilden nog iets anders bestellen alleen, was dat nog 3 kwartier wachten. Het was erg fris binnen. Ja toen gingen we maar naar huis. Het eten zelf was prima, niets over te klagen, want dat was gewoon lekker.

Room for improvement. Chinese tomato soup was very watery and the Pad Thai was unbalanced in terms of the ratio of noodles to vegetables. Gyoza was tasty!

Don't be misled by the wide range of different cuisines. This family restaurant serves fantastic dishes with lots of love and fantastic service!

the food was very tasty and sufficient. The decoration of the restaurant was good. The service was friendly but a bit inexperienced. As with any sushi restaurant, a lot is taken away and that takes (perhaps a little too) much time and attention.

Ik bestelde hier altijd graag iets, maar sinds het kortingsysteem (terwijl ik nog kortingpunten had die nu verdwenen zijn) ineens weg is en alles ook nog is duurder is geworden is het simpelweg veel te duur voor mij:(

Super lekker gegeten! Hele vriendelijke bediening en de sushi is echt van hele goede kwaliteit. Veel beter dan de all you can eat restaurants. Ik kom graag nog eens terug :)

Mijn ouders waren zeer tevreden over het bezoek bij Oishi.

ik had een hoofdgerecht besteld die voor 18.50 euro op de menukaart stond. Bij het bestellen van het nagerecht krijgen we allebei 2 verschillende menukaarten. Op de ene kaart was mijn hoofdgerecht opeens 3,50 euro duurder. Was met pen veranderd. Ik heb dit aangegeven bij de serveerster die aangaf dat ik dan de ene menukaart had waar het niet is bijgewerkt. Geen excuses of er iets tegenover stellen. Bij het uitserveren van het hoofdgerecht klopte 1 gerecht niet. Uiteindelijk moest het juiste gerecht nog gemaakt worden waardoor we niet tegelijk konden eten. Wederom geen excuses of iets dergelijks. Verder 20 minuten op een nagerecht moeten wachten dat bestond uit 1 bolletje ijs, wat mango en gebakken banaan in een restaurant wat nagenoeg leeg was. De rekening uiteindelijk was 78 euro. En om nou te zeggen dat we lekker hebben gegeten nee dat was het ook niet. ik blijf het vreemd vinden dat je je gasten niet tegemoet komt met iets voor prijsverschil in menukaarten en het verkeerd leveren van de gerechten. Kortom. Eens en nooit meer. Prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding is echt zoek in dit restaurant.

Verassing goed! Sushi was allemaal goed op smaak Meerendeel Van de sushi was wel met het zelfde vulling (komkommer/surimi) verder bediening was heel aardig en vlot.

Klein restaurant, net overal tussenin in het centrum van Veghel. Jammer dat het dus buiten de loop ligt. Lekker gegeten. De opties zij divers, Thais, Indisch of Japans. Je kan het hier combineren. De sushi opties zijn bijna standaard, de meest voorkomende op de kaart. De hoofdgerechten zijn wat kleiner. Bij een wat grotere honger is een voorgerecht aan te raden.

Eten is niks mis mee, communicatie en snelheid van het brengen laat flink te wensen over. Zou om 19:00 bezorgd worden, om 19:15 gebeld waar het bleef, krijgen te horen dat bezorger onderweg is. Om half 8 nogmaals gebeld, blijkt de bestelling nog helemaal niet onderweg te zijn. Echt ontzettend slecht dit!

Super lekker gegeten en werden heel vriendelijk bediend en ze had alle geduld om ons uit tegen wat sommige gerechtjes inhielden. Hele lekkere gerechtjes!!

I hate giving bad reviews and I almost never do, but... I ordered soup and udon noodles take away. Soup was OK. But those noodles... I have honestly never ever recieved anything so disgusting from a restaurant. Very bad quality meat, burned vegetables and very very overcooked noodles. Everything swam in tasteless water that only tasted bitter from burned vegetables. I never throw away food but this wasnt edible what so ever. I hope cook just had a bad day, but food like this should never leave kitchen. :(

Heerlijk gegeten maar veeeeeel te lang moeten wachten

Heerlijk gegeten. Keuzemogelijkheden verrassend, ook voor vegetariërs. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel.

Fantastisch lekker gegeten en wat een lieve eigenaren. Mij gaan ze daar vaker zien.

Het eten was heerlijk en de bediening was top, zeer vriendelijk en duidelijk uitleg wat het was over eten betreft. Ga zeker nog terug.

Alleen afhaal besteld. De rijst die wordt gebruikt is heel erg goed. Het heeft de juiste textuur, temperatuur en smaak. De basis is goed en dat maakt dat alle sushi naar een hoger niveau wordt getild. Alle andere ingrediënten smaken vers en goed. Wij namen boxset C: genoeg voor 2 personen en een lekkere mix van sushi en sashimi. Heel erg genoten. Wij gaan hier vaker bestellen.

Prima eten, niet een erg grote kaart maar laat je eigen eens verrassen

We waren met 6 personen en allemaal lekker gegeten. Ik had de tongsoep met witte rijst+. Voortreffelijk. Aanrader.

Gratis parkeergelegenheid na 18:00 met blauwe kaart. Het is een kleine horeca zaak met vriendelijke bediening opmaak van sushi is mooi en smaakvol. Ze hebben ook terras. Keigan Dragon is een aanrader als je van paling houdt. Ook de Kaburi Roll is een aanrader.

Super heerlijk gegeten, zeer nette bediening met een vleugje humor. In ieder geval hadden ze zeker een fantastische glimlach. Een echte aanrader

Erg lekkere verrassende sushi, goeie smaken, iets anders dan de saaie sushi die ik wel voortaan ken... boven gemiddeld goed! Zeker een aanrader.

Wij hebben met deze eetgelegenheid kennis gemaakt via Social Deals. Voor de prijs hiervan is het aardig om te doen, maar als je de normale prijs zou moeten betalen is dat veel te veel. De gerechtjes op zich smaken goed, maar het schort nog wat aan de bediening. Allereerst duurde het vrij lang voordat ze een bestelling op kwamen nemen voor een drankje. Verder was er geen menukaart en moesten wij maar op ons mobieltje kijken wat we wilden bestellen. Er was nogal wat miscommunicatie tussen het personeel zodat het een paar keer mis ging met de bediening. Een tweede tonic kon ik niet bestellen want die hadden ze niet meer, maar stond later wel op de rekening. Ook het ijs van het dessert werd half gesmolten geserveerd omdat de meisjes langs elkaar heen werkten. Ze waren overigens wel heel vriendelijk.

Super lekker gegeten voor een vriendelijke prijs! Een aanrader. Vriendelijk personeel, wel jong.

Eten is erg lekker, ook bij bezorgen. Echter als er een tijdstip ingevuld wordt waarop je het eten wilt ontvangen, wordt hier geen rekening mee gehouden. Ze kunnen makkelijk 3 kwartier eerder zijn dan de aangegeven tijd. Dit is voor mij een groot nadeel.

The restaurant won't win an award for its interior; it's a bit sterile, but it fits the style of the cuisine. Upon entering, you immediately feel welcome. The enthusiastic staff takes the time to explain another about the menu. All dishes were freshly prepared and well flavored. We ordered several appetizers, which we shared with each other, enjoyed well-fried Ebi Tempura and Chicken Gyoza, delicious Yakitori, and beautiful tuna sashimi. As our main course, we shared a Sushi and sashimi deluxe platter, which is definitely recommended.

Tijdens de pauze van mijn avondschool daar een pokebowl afgehaald super vers en kwaliteit van de tonijn was prima. Later die week vanuit Nijmegen daarheen gereden om nog een keer een pokebowl te halen. Erg lekker zeker aanrader (fijn bakje waar de pokebowl was opgebouwd)
