DIS in Veghel

Bad. Small portion. Made incorrectly at first. I could still return it. Then I had to wait again. Drinks arrived in small doses. I wouldn't return.

We had a wonderful lunch, great service, and the restaurant and indoor patio are both atmospheric. I would definitely come back!

You don't need to order soft drinks here. Everything comes from a large bottle, which largely eliminates the carbonation. It's very poor practice to charge full prices for this.

I have fond memories of this restaurant from a date a while back. Those free-roaming parrots that would come and sit on the rope above you were fun. A while back, I went for another walk to take another look. Who knows, maybe we'll see you again sometime!

Good food for an affordable price.

Had a delicious lunch after a visit to The Chocolate Factory. The service was friendly and immediately provided some coloring for the little one. The prices seemed a bit high, but what you get is truly amazing!

We went in the evening, and the atmosphere inside was very pleasant. Due to the size of our group, we opted for shared dining. The first round didn't include cutlery, so we took what we wanted. Luckily, we didn't have to do that the second time. The food was delicious.

What a disgrace! We had Dis skewers with one whole group. Well, folks, never again. The skewers that arrived were either tough or too raw. No tender, tasty tenderloin or anything else. Then we had two hours of enjoyment. After four different skewers, they rudely asked, "Do you want more of the skewers?" "This is it." They provide plenty of side dishes, because they're filling and you'll grab them during the long wait. That's cheap for them, and that's how they maximize their profit. Working happily is also hard for most of the staff. Some of them can't even crack a smile. For this price, you can eat even better and tastier at an all-you-can-eat wok restaurant. With better quality meat and dishes. When paying, always check the bill carefully. Drinks are included in the two-hour package, but when you pay, there will be more on the bill, as expected.

Delicious food, very hospitable service.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The seating is nice and the place is decorated with beautiful plants. The tenderloin was delicious. Not overcooked, and the red wine sauce wasn't overpowering.

We had a delicious lunch. We did have to wait a bit long due to staff shortages, but still, definitely recommended!

The food was surprisingly delicious, the croquette sandwich was really good! The Uitsmijter carpaccio is also highly recommended.

Ordered American pancakes after a long wait we got them but I doubt if they were freshly prepared. In the picture on the menu there were strawberries but when serving we saw that they had divided 1 strawberry over 3 plates. While serving the waiter could have already noticed that it was disappointing so missed opportunity and a well-deserved 1 star review! For the taste you would have gotten 3…

Cozy, inside the Noordkade building. Nice location, food is also great.

The food...it can't be fresher! The service...nice staff! The atmosphere...I think the atmosphere about Noordkade is great, but of course it's personal. In short, a big recommendation to take a seat at DIS.

Delicious food, nice beer, fresh products, and top service. Nicely decorated, but in a hall. Also special requests such as halal or no pork, deadly nuts and peanut allergy, everything is possible.

I was assigned a table and immediately broke my pants because a screw was sticking out from under the table. No apologies, feedback or removing the cause of the problem. Further ignored by the staff, despite us being pretty much the only guests there. 2 men ordered the tuna steak, and when served there was a clear difference in steak sizes. Passed on to staff who indicated that this was incorrect, while it was clear that 1 of the 2 steaks was at least half the size. Food was decent, but very salty.

The food was fairly okay, but definitely not worth the 1.5-hour wait.

Ate the skewers with a group of colleagues. What was called chicken was pork, the fries came as the last course and the shrimp tasted rotten. Once but never again…

The four of us had dinner at DIS. It is a very nice place, where you can eat well. We really liked the decoration of the building, industrial combined with many plants, which ultimately leads to a peaceful atmosphere. The food could have been a bit better, could also have been due to our own choice of dishes!

Nice busy restaurant for a bite to eat. This location is perfect, especially in combination with a theater performance. The food is of good quality. Tuna is of perfect quality here. The service is busy but cheerful, so let us know if you want something. This restaurant is highly recommended.

De fish and chips waren van slechte kwaliteit. Te veel deegbeslag, waardoor de binnenzijde niet goed gebakken was. Het vlees vd spareribs was echt de slechtste die ik ooit tegen ben gekomen. Ik ben als redelijk bbq-er wel wat gewend, maar dit viel zwaar tegen. Gelukkig was de manier van bereiden wel geslaagd, daar door nog wat positiefs gevonden Verder hadden we het gevoel alsof we vergeten werden qua service. Opdringerig is ook niet goed, maar dit is zowaar nog vervelender. We wilden eens een keer ergens anders gaan eten, maar het gaat in elk geval geen Veghel meer worden.

Enjoyed the DIS SPIES package yesterday. This is definitely bang for the buck. We expected a number of skewers and a bowl of fries, but we were spoiled with numerous side dishes including prawns, pasta salad, special bread with sauces, etc. Definitely worth repeating.

Beautiful location with wonderful atmosphere....

What a service, when booking it was said that there was only room at the standing tables with stools. I reported that unfortunately this was not an option. Was politely asked if they could call back within 2 minutes to see if they could arrange anything. Exactly 2 minutes later I received a call back with the message that there was room until 7:30 PM. Perfectly arranged. And what a super nice, knowledgeable staff. We will eat here again on our next theater visit. Great :)

Vriendelijk restaurant. Goede, creatieve gerechten. Fijne bediening. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit. Ambiance is somber, smoezelig en gedateerd. 2 Grote vogels in een volière is niet meer van deze tijd.

comlpimenten over het spiesmenu . de bediening was heel vriendelijk en super attent na een incident met 1 van ons ,ze waren heel behulpzaam en hebben het heel netjes opgelost . ik kom zeker nog een keer terug om te eten van de gewone menukaart !

Wanted to have a quick drink with our 3 kids today. Only we had to get yoghurt first, which they only came after 25 minutes, but then we had to wait at least another 15 minutes. Then the glass the smoothie was in arrived broken and was returned and it was poured into another glass, which I thought was strange because there could have been glass splinters in it!! No excuse or nothing. And the tables were extremely dirty. Not recommended

Staff chat together more than they pay attention to the customer, there is no manager

Staff are mainly busy with each other instead of the guests. Drinks board for 2 was a huge mockery. Indicated that he did not want raw fish and meat and ultimately salmon and tuna on the board. We walked to the bar ourselves as we had no way to contact the staff. An alternative would be delivered which took a very long time. Besides the burrata and nachos, the shelf only had chip snacks. After this fiasco we decided to pay and went into the jumbo for dessert. Once there we only saw that excellent pizzas and hamburger sandwiches, etc., were freshly made there. It's a huge shame that the beautiful location where they are located cannot offer the quality you expect.

Improvement would be easy to achieve. Change the reserved signs. These are not clear, I saw at least 20 people who did not realize that some tables were reserved. Staff are chatting and don't seem organised. Had to wait a very long time to order food, then waited almost an hour for food. Around us there were two tables that wanted to pay and tried to signal, but only received attention after a long time. Tables were talking about this among themselves while there were 3.4 staff standing by the kitchen without looking around. Some staff are walking around, but they don't seem to know what to do and they walk around aimlessly. Staff seems to lack direction. One of the meals was delicious, the rest very greasy.

Fine and good food! The main course took a while to arrive due to crowds (theatre visit), but the service responded well and alertly with apologies and the necessary action towards the kitchen. Staff friendly and attentive.

It all took a very long time... fries only came when the tuna steak had already been eaten... price/quality ratio: 18.50 for a fries of stew. 11 euros for garlic sandwich. I won't go back here again.

Is really recommended, but you have to be hungry (or have a tapeworm). Main courses: fish 'n chips and two stews. Not very big but spacious enough - both are recommended.

Sad place with unsanitary birds at your table. Service is more concerned with itself than with the guests and there are far too few staff in the kitchen. Brioche is actually a soft white bun from the Jumbo. Also too much on the bill.

Had a delicious lunch at Dis on the Noordkade. Delicious club sandwich with chicken. Wide choice of lunch and dinner options, tasty beers on tap or bottle.

Had a nice meal on a Thursday evening while passing through. Ate tenderloin. Meat nice and tender and fresh vegetables. Drinks are also not expensive. Parking with disc.

What an incredibly beautiful environment in which to eat, extremely special. Fantastic tasty food and on request also a very tasty vegan alternative for one of our group. 10 out of 10, compliments!

Had lunch this afternoon. Decent price for what you get. We had to wait a very long time for our drinks and food. People who sat down after us received their orders earlier. Ordered at 12 o'clock...the soup was not included, it would come later. No one pays attention to whether this actually happens. After we had almost finished our food, we inquired, but unfortunately this was also to no avail. Shared our experience when paying, the one coke that was ordered was taken off the bill... the customer is clearly not king here.

Wir besuchten die Noordkante und trafen auch auf das Dis. Da um die Mittagszeit, beschlossen wir, etwas kleines zu Essen. Der Service war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir sassen gleich neben der Voliere. Wir konnten im Hintergrund zusehen, wie das Essen frisch zubereitet wurde. Und es hat geschmeckt. War für uns eine Überraschnung, hatten wir doch keine Ahnung, was und dort erwartete.

Hartelijk ontvangen door de bediening. Vandaar toch 2 sterren maar het eten was bijzonder slecht. We hebben een hamburger besteld, waarbij het broodje zo hard was dat je er bijna niet doorheen kon snijden. Het leek wel of deze uit de magnetron kwam! De kok had ook meer interesse voor haar telefoon dan het eten, dat ze moest bereiden. Ik heb er zelfs een foto van gemaakt... De hamburger was geen vers vlees en er zat geen smaak aan. De frietjes waren vet en niet lekker. Wij hebben ons eten dan ook laten staan en zijn gegaan. Ik kom hier niet meer terug en dit heb ik ook aan de bediening verteld.

Nice birthday dinner at DIS in Veghel. The setting and atmosfeer at DIS is great! Quality of main courses is 'all-right". Disappointments: 1."Break-bread" turned out to be 6 small stale slices of bread with aged tuna, egg, and unidentified sause 2.Triple Karmeliet trappist was served non-cooled/half-warm, an absolute No Go!

Leuke locatie in de Noordkade, geweldig complex. Bij Dis genoten van een borrelplankje een geweldige taco, dit gecombineerd met een lekker glas rode wijn.

Hartelijk ontvangen door de bediening. Na ruim een uur wachten toch maar eens gevraagd waar het eten bleef. Want inmiddels was het nog maar 15 minuten tot de start van het theaterprogramma. Na twee minuten stonden twee borden op tafel. Niet bepaald dampende borden. Borden koud. Tomaatjes koud. Kip koud en stamp koud. Helaas hadden we al betaald en moesten we haasten om op tijd te zijn. Geen aanrader dus.l

Gezellige locatie voor een borrel met collega's. De groep van 50 man was te groot, drinken werd niet voldoende aangeleverd

Gisteren voor het eerst bij Dis gegeten waar ik hoge verwachtingen van had... een mooie ambiance en ideaal voor de voorstelling in de Blauwe Kei. Maar de chicken tikka massala de we allebei besteld hadden was gewoon smakeloos en het leken wel halve porties... ik wil het nog wel een keer een kans geven maar deze keer waren we teleurgesteld.

Eten was lekker. DIs Spies= all you can eat in 2 uur. De keuken beslist wat je krijgt bij de eerste 5 gerechten. Alleen een zesde of zevende ronde is bijna onmogelijk. Tijd om en in ons geval was het gerecht nog koud en daarna gecremeerd. Helaas konden we niet langer wachten. Het eten is wel inclusief standaard drank/fris.

Koffie wezen drinken, borrel plankje erbij genomen. Was erg lekker en mooi verzorgd. Het enige de tomaat met mozzarella vonden wij niet zo lekker maar smaken verschillen.

Een verrassing in Veghel, waar we in de buurt moesten zijn. Geweldige locatie en vriendelijke bediening. Snelle service van heerlijke gerechten gekozen van een groot schoolbord. Prima locatie en best druk, maar door de grote ruimte, met papagaaien in het midden, heel goed te doen.

Wij vonden het teleurstellend, de bediening is niet vriendelijk en enthousiast, lang wachten terwijl het helemaal niet druk is. Het spiegelei van de clubsandwich is niet lang genoeg gebakken, gedeeltelijk rauw. Breng je het naar de keuken krijg je een kok te spreken " die straalt van enthousiasme en vriendelijkheid". Heel eerlijk gezegd zijn wij het absoluut niet eens me de tekst van de eigenaar. Er is nagenoeg geen uitstraling en passie voor food of bediening.

This place has a very nice vibe. It is located in a building complex which used to be an old factory and hosts multiple businesses now. So the whole atmosphere is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and hospitable. The food is good. The place was able to host our big group in a short notice.

Het eten was prima. Mooie locatie ook!

Prima eten, prima sfeer,prima personeel,prima locatie,maar.... Gooi zo onderhand die dooie druivenstruiken eruit. Ziet er niet meer uit, en er hangt je een partij stof aan die dode troep...en daar zit ik dan lekker onder te eten....(in de hoop dat er niks naar beneden valt op m'n eten)

Leuke ambiance, gezellige bediening. En ook een lekkere kaart die dus regelmatig wisselt wat er op voorraad is. Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten.

In de middag hier geluncht en ik was er verrast door het gerecht. Ik bestelde een broodje Carpaccio op een bruine snee brood. Een bordvol met van alles en nog wat op het bord, heel bijzonder en ik heb mijn broodje Carpaccio nog nooit zo rijkelijk belegd gehad. Ondanks dat het niet helemaal mijn ding was en ik het toch graag bij mijn standaard broodje Carpaccio houd, vond ik het wel uniek en zeker waar voor je geld!

Lekkere vers bereid vriendelijk bediening en betaalbare gerechten. Aanrader!

Hele mooie locatie en fijne sfeer. Heerlijk drankje met een borrelsnack gehad. Vogels hoor je rustig op de achtergrond. Personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Vanmiddag heb ik geluncht bij DIS - het was écht bijzonder lekker! Het 12uurtje-vis was heerlijk, aardige bediening, relaxte sfeer. Geweldig.

Voor mijn 50e verjaardag getracteerd op een geweldig shared diner. Heerlijke gerechtjes en hemelse deserts!! Écht een aanrader. Een perfecte afsluiting van de dag.
