Baars Restaurant in Wijk 01 Binnenstad

I really liked it... my wife did too... The fruit de mer salad was especially delicious.

We had three sole with remoulade sauce. When we asked if there was anything to go with it, the waiter said no. So we ordered fries instead. It wasn't necessary. It came with fresh, crisp vegetables and a potato cake. The food was very tasty. The waiter was friendly but a bit inattentive (empty glasses on the tables, ashtrays full). But highly recommended, because the food is what makes it special!

Today after wandering ended up on the terrace of hotel Baars next to the church. Had a delicious meal here. Tasty and beautifully presented dishes with side dishes. The staff is also clearly trained in service. This is done neatly and not too formally. In short, as far as we are concerned, a recommendation and a reason to come back.

We sat in the conservatory for 20 minutes waiting for service. The staff did come to close the open door, but didn't speak to us. After 20 minutes, we got up to go elsewhere for lunch.

Nice location, well-maintained, friendly staff, but the Waldkorn carpaccio sandwich was nothing more than a wafer-thin slice of carpaccio with lettuce leaves and a few tomatoes. Very disappointing for the price.

Dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Chicken Satay was awesome!!

Wonderful, friendly people, in everything. Beautiful hotel, centrally located in Harderwijk town center, close to Lake Veluwe, approximately 600 meters.

I liked the place, I was few times there, sitting on the terrace. It's stylish, the food is good, the prices are not too high. It's nice to walk in the area, the main square is in walking distance.
