Nice atmosphere. We were offered drinks by the bartender himself, but after a while we had to ask for the menu ourselves. Also, no one came to our table, even though I requested it. Unfortunately, I didn't leave with a good feeling.

The atmosphere and service are good! Nice place, lovely patio, and comfortable chairs. However, I find the (lunch) menu a bit disappointing. If you're into Mexican vibes, choose authentic Mexican dishes. Or at least regional. A carpaccio sandwich is such a waste if your name is Holy Moly... and regarding tacos, just serve corn tacos and not the Dutch wheat version. Also, just put Corona or something similar on tap and not Peroni (a delicious beer, but originating at least 5,000 km away). And I'm not sure where to start. Quesadillas, put the cheese in, not on top. That way, you don't need cutlery. Sauce? Well: Salsa Matcha! It pops with color and flavor. It's also much more relaxing for the kitchen if you have to stock up on one region or style and don't have to serve carpaccio like everyone else in town (which is incredibly boring to make). So: Break with the established ties and really go for your theme, or rename yourself 'Cafe De Hoek' and serve that 'karrapatsjoh' sandwich like everyone else.

We went here for the first time with great anticipation. The atmosphere was good, as was the ambiance. Someone immediately asked at the table if we wanted water...still or sparkling...and maybe some bread with garlic butter. Yes, please! We received a menu (very limited) but it was fine. The starters were perfect...peeled prawns in tomato sauce, carpaccio, and a pulled chicken taco. Truly perfect! Then it took a very long time for the main course. (And it wasn't crowded at all.) Finally, the main course arrived. It looked good too. A sort of wrap with beef, a double burger with bacon, fries...and half a piri-piri chicken. The first two dishes were truly perfect! The chicken, however, wasn't...some pieces were undercooked and terribly greasy. Such a shame. We didn't order dessert either. The price is good...it's just a shame they charge quite a bit for water. Many people have a cooker at home these days...also for still, sparkling, and hot (tea). Water should simply be offered. My husband and daughter would love to come back again, but it's not interesting for me. Too bad.

We went to eat at Holy Moly and the experience was bittersweet. On the one hand, we ordered some dishes that were relatively well presented and tasted decent, such as the chicken and avocado toast and the fried eggs with tomato. As for the service, it was average in terms of friendliness: adequate, but nothing special. The worst part was the burger: paying 17 euros for a burger that didn't include fries seemed excessive. Furthermore, the preparation was quite basic for that price range. It's a good place for a Kopstootje (gin and beer), but the food offers better value for money.

Holy Moly Cantina in Harderwijk: the name alone is a treat 😄 I had lunch here, and honestly, it was something completely different. No standard sandwich here or there, but a fun, surprising menu that instantly makes you feel overwhelmed by the choice (in a good way). The food was simply delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. And then there's the atmosphere... I was there around Christmas time, and everything was beautifully decorated. So cozy that you almost forget you were only there for lunch. You'll end up staying longer. In short: delicious food, a great menu, a lovely vibe, and extra magic during the Christmas season. I had the Pulled Chicken Fajita main course. It consisted of a wrap folded in half and placed on the grill, along with a strip of pulled chicken, a dollop of red cabbage salad with corn, and a dollop of rice. There were two sauces (which I didn't try) and you pay €22.50 for that... the taste was good, but the quantity was very meager for that price. If I make this at home, I won't spend €10 and will have more! Such a shame. The service wasn't great either; after waiting a while and having to ask the staff to help us, we were able to order coffee/tea.

Last Friday (October 17), two friends and I were sitting on the terrace for one of their birthdays… the waitresses had been talking loudly the whole time about being done and wanting to leave. At 00:15, the last round was served (which is fine in itself) with the instruction that we had to finish ours quickly. Subsequently, our drinks were not brought because they had ‘forgotten’ them. Less than 5 minutes after we finally received our drinks, the girls came outside and shouted (in no ‘funny’ way) ‘We want to go home too, you guys go away’ and we were stared at until we left. We found this very strange and rude, since we still had drinks and the opening hours basically state they are open until 01:00. Despite that, we had a good time, but the service was terrible.

Great ambiance, very attentive and friendly staff. We were hungry, and our food was served quickly. Furthermore, it was delicious. Highly recommended. Please note: The digital menu at the table does not include the entire menu.

We had a truly wonderful evening! The food was delicious with a varied Mexican menu, the cocktails were both unique and classic, and above all, the quality was excellent. The atmosphere is always very pleasant and cozy, and the entire team was super friendly and welcoming. You can share small dishes or order large ones yourself. Something for everyone, highly recommended!

I often come here for a bite to eat or just a drink. It's a really nice place, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and even your dog is welcome. I think they're open every day, even outside the summer season. Keep in mind that it can get very busy on weekends, especially during the summer months. Reservations are highly recommended.

Quite expensive for the quality I ordered a grilled meat spies. It costed 11 euro's for only 4 small pieces of meat... The Chicken was dry And the "steak" Might as well been the same as eatin a shoe. And worst of all it was COLD. Then after I recieved a new one after complaining. It was still cold still dry and this time it didn't even come with a piece of steak. But then i was tired too ask for another one. The staff was decently nice tho.

Wat een afknapper! 45 minuten na besteld te hebben hadden we nog niets te eten gehad. Bij navraag na een half uur kregen we eerst te horen dat ze er nog aan moesten beginnen en na 45 minuten zouden ze nog eens gaan kijken in de keuken. Het vreemde was dat er om ons heen mensen wel hun bestelling kregen, ook al waren ze veel later gaan zitten. Ergste is eigenlijk dat we ins niet serieus genomen voelden. Geen excuus, geen tussentijdse update, geen drankje van huis… niets.

After 45 minutes still no food. Other people around us did. No apologies, no updates on where it went. Disappointing.

Had lunch here with a friend on a Saturday. The food and drinks were very quick and the service was nice. Unfortunately something went wrong with the food. When I reported this they solved it in a nice customer friendly way.

The food is excellent. My daughter (11 years old) was delighted and that is the best reviewer. We enjoyed our time in the city center with nice views and perfectly designed restaurant.

Nice place and really good food. Only the Chef's menu is a total chaos. Ordered twice now, chaos twice. No idea how much you get, you suddenly just sit there and have to ask if it's ready. Also the number of dishes varies. One time we got more than the other. Really an improvement point!

For a 1st visit on a quiet Friday afternoon, after six the place was filling up. Enough attention and nice menu choice, we will come back again :-)

A much too small carpaccio to start off well If you like burnt tortilla, you should definitely eat here! Together with cooked steak and tasteless melted cheese, this gives a very special experience. Afterwards we got a dessert somewhere else...

Holy moly what a crazy place, made a reservation at half past seven and only got your food served at a quarter past 8, had to ask 5 times where it was and everyone looked at you stupidly or had an “oh yeah” moment, definitely skip this place, especially for the money you pay for it, it's about nothing.

We were there on vacation and it's a nice little cute bar/bistro... You get good Tex-Mex food there, the service was friendly and the price-performance ratio is okay.

The four of us had dinner, but three of us wanted the menu and a wild sea bass from the menu. That was very confusing, because one dish was served for 4 people, the next for 2 people, then something for 3 people, in short... don't take a menu if you don't want all four to eat the same thing, because then it doesn't make sense anymore. I ordered sea bass off the menu, but.... I received a container with very small pieces of fish with pickles. The taste was fine, but.... if you order something other than the fixed menu it apparently becomes very complicated.... too bad, because we won't go there like that anymore unfortunately.....

The restaurant was highly understaffed on the day of our visit. The sole server also was quite rude at times. The food was bland and only loosely resembled Mexican food. The churros were undercooked and doughy. The fried chicken burger was barely edible. Most egregiously, they refused to serve tap water for the table. I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Been coming to Holy Moly since the beginning, it used to be De Hertog. My favorites are the Sangria and the Nachos. The quality of these two is getting worse. Lots of crumbled tortilla chips and small portions while you pay 18 euros for a plate of normal nachos without chicken or minced meat (wtf). In addition, there is a lot of crushed ice in the sangria and a little bit of red frozen fruit. No slice of orange in the glass or anything. I hope you do something about this.

The chicken fajita was sweet. Indicated that the taste is disappointing and not what we expected. Nothing was done about it. She wanted to add pepper... so we ordered something extra. It will cost you 26 euros again for something that is not tasty.

Disappointing experience. Staff pays little attention to you. There were 55 minutes between my starter and main course. The table next to me left because the main course took so long. When I asked, I didn't get any feedback, only the second time I asked, but without any indication. I found the final dish very bland and tasteless, and not really Mexican in terms of flavors. Ceviche as a starter was tasty and I was offered a free drink for waiting.

Skip. We ordered 6 different dishes and only the chicken dishes were ok. There was really no salmon to be found in the salmon empenadas; beef and beef taco tasteless. Shame. Why do they serve the dishes on stone cold tacos? Just not tasty.

For my sister's bachelor party we went to Holy Moly Cantina for dinner. Reserving for a large group was easy and quick. We had some nachos as a starter and the chef's special as the main menu. Everything came very quickly and was very tasty. The service was good and efficient. Definitely recommended!

We shared the pulled chicken fajita (the salad that came with it, something with mango and red cabbage, was delicious in combination with the rest) and the nachos. We didn't sit there very long because we still had to go to the cinema, but the atmosphere is certainly there to enjoy a meal afterwards. I will definitely come back again.

Tables have fixed benches. Cramped and not ideal. We were with young children, ordered a plain hamburger and got one with a lot of pepper on it. Incomprehensible.

We hadden niet veel verwachtingen van het eten. Het eten was,……. serieus lekker een keer wat anders dan de standaard bistro. Bediening was ongedwongen met een vriendelijke babbel en altijd in de buurt om te bestellen. Keuken 5, bediening 5 en prijs/kwaliteit 5. Hasta luego.

Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en gezellig in contact. Naast het eten ook genoten van de heerlijke cocktails! Zeker een aanrader!
