I went with my baby. The restaurant was almost full, but we went a little late, so we were lucky to be able to enter without a reservation. The restaurant has a lively and fun atmosphere. There is no paper menu, but they will introduce the menu of the day verbally. We ordered an appetizer platter, ravioli, and steak. Everything was surprisingly delicious. What surprised me most was how kind and friendly the staff were. Is there any other restaurant where you can get such a warm welcome when you have a baby? I highly recommend it. I will visit again.

Diciamo che a 4 ristoranti prendeva tre a tutto! Location trasandata, sporca e fatiscente. Se vi affacciate dalla terrazza c’è anche un casso abbandonato in bella vista. Il cibo ? Lasciamo perdere…. Meglio restare a casa a mangiare i sofficini! Tavolini di plastica, luce scarsa, tovaglioli a richiesta. Il dolce poi… servito senza una forchettina! Il farro freddo??? Boia , si poteva usare come ancorante per i tasselli! Insomma, fa caà… Ahhh, dimenticavo, il parcheggio, INESISTENTE.

Wij zijn op zaterdagavond 8 februari bij dit knusse en sfeervolle Italiaanse restaurant wezen eten met een aantal familieleden. Een ding is zeker als je bij dit restaurant gaat eten je geniet bij elke gang. Alles even smaakvol met heel vriendelijk personeel lekkere wijnen voor een betaalbare prijs zoals ook het diner. In een woord SUPER. Wij worden hier vaste klant maar dit terzijde. Echt aan te raden. Grazie aan Mario en co.

Pearl! They do not have a fixed menu: the daily options (sufficient choice) are explained by the friendly waiter with a thick Italian accent. All the food is home-made and of top quality. I will definitely make a detour for this pasta. You really feel like you are in Italy!

Jaren geleden aten wij hier samen eens, steeds van plan dat nog eens te doen. Dat was ineens op uitnodiging van oudste zoon en vriendin voor onze verjaardag. Reservering 2 weken ervoor gedaan. Niet voor niets. Wat een feestje was dit weer! O.a. antipasti schotel, div pasta gerechtjes, vis (zeebaarsfilet) vlees, en tot slot (voor degene die daar nog ruimte voor had) koffie. Als echte afsluiter nog een limoncello. Het ontbreekt je aan niets, zeer gastvrije bediening. Goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding Ze werken inderdaad zonder kaart, je eet wat er is. Hoe leuk! Wij komen gauw eens terug met onze drie kinderen met aanhang! Dank voor de leuke avond

Five of us sat outside (a table was set up especially for us). I have by far the best pasta of my life here and for an incredible price. Super friendly staff. It just tastes like love and passion cooking. If I lived anywhere close, I would be there to eat every other day. Huge compliment. INCREDIBLE FOR THE PRICE.

Delicious Italian where we have been coming for years.

Wij waren met een groep van 20 mensen. De ontzettende hartelijke ontvangst door Mario, zorgde dat we ons meteen thuis voelde in Bacco PerBacco. Door de prachtige gedekte tafel zat de sfeer er meteen goed in, mede door de verwennerijen die Mario voor ons heeft uitgekozen. Wat was alles verrukkelijk en wat een verrassingen waren de diverse gangen. Elke gang was een feestje in je mond, de wijn en de limoncello waren verrukkelijk. Het was een meer dan geslaagde avond. Amazing service and amazing Italian food! By far the best italian restaurant in the hague! If you are looking for a restaurant owner with passion and interest in his product, this is the place to be. Please ask the owner Mario for his wine list or reccomendations, he knows his stuff and will always give you a fair price for some of the best wines italy has to offer.

By far one of the best Italian places in The Hague. Very lowkey atmosphere with great personal service. The quality has been the same over the last five years, which nowadays is quite rare. The owner (I assume) is very hospitable and really goes for the extra mile. Definitely a must to visit!

Truly incredible, authentic Italian restaurant! The food is amazing, made with some of the best quality ingredients we’ve tasted in NL. The owners passion as a host and chef shines through. The whole family loved it, with my young daughter being treated like a real lady😊 And to top it all off, the prices are really reasonable. We can eat and drink what we want, without worrying about being ripped off. I can go on…we’ll certainly frequent our new favorite spot 👌👌👌

A typical family run small, real Italian restaurant with a small but superb menu. Never had better gnocchi, the veal was delicious, the bill is good value for money. When busy, service may be leisurely, allowing time to digest, and a lovely limocello to round off. If the weather permits, ask for a table outside.

In a word: FAN-BAG-TI-CO!!! Delicious food, tasty house wines (red and white) and great service (father and son)! We will DEFINITELY come back here! Make a reservation. I was "kidnapped" by friends for my birthday, so I don't know exactly what the evening cost for 5 people. The €70-€80 pp is my estimate because I had to fill in something for this review. We had 2 bottles of wine, a starter, main course and dessert and coffee, but even if it is more, it is worth the money!

What a night! Went to this Italian treat for my birthday. After passing a curtain against the draft, the real journey begins: a journey of discovery with surprising twists and positive stopping places interspersed with beautiful moments of great enjoyment and fantastic wines. The hostess and host interact very well with each other, have an eye for detail and present their improvised program with enthusiasm and verve. Good concept, without a menu - certainly makes me book again. Finally, a pleasant setting, the furnishings look poor, but the many details and imperfections make it a bigger picture.

Heerlijk gegeten. Met recht is dit een verborgen parel in Den Haag. De prijzen zijn schappelijk, de bediening vriendelijk. Alleen vonden we het fris in de zaak. Maar goed, je kunt niet alles hebben. Het eten maakt alles goed.

The food and the wine are good; I wouldn't call it excellent. You should also look at this in comparison to the price. It isn't super expensive, so I guess it's really worth your money. We had a starter with cheeses and vegetables. A pasta as a main dish (maybe a bit too salty). And a dessert. We also both had good glass of wine. I think it was € 60. That's just very reasonable! I wasn't in a complaining mood, but I think a clean table (I saw some oil) and clean glasses (I saw some dust) are a miminum.

Eerder deze week met een oud-collega - die de eigenaar al jaren kent - uit eten geweest bij deze 'verborgen parel'. Een heel knus restaurant dat duidelijk met liefde voor het Italiaanse eten wordt gerund. Afgestemd op mijn wensen werd er een voorgerecht gemaakt - een combi van allerlei lekkere hapjes - en als hoofdgerecht had ik een heerlijke kogelbiefstuk. Ook het toetje - waarvan ik de naam ben vergeten, maar waar i.i.g. pistache en karamel in was verwerkt - was heerlijk. Kortom, een echte aanrader. Ik kom zeker nog een keer terug!
