Friendly people, but the pizzas are better at the snack bar around the corner. I expected more from an Italian restaurant for a pizza that costs almost €15.

They have the best pizza, pasta and salad made with fresh ingredients. It’s my favorite go to place for comfort food. The Cesar salad, the salami pizza and chocolate cake are must tries! And they are very generous with their Parmesan toppings.

Best pizza ever, just around the corner! We get pizzas here very regularly and whichever pizza we choose, they are all delicious. Fresh ingredients, delicious crispy crust, you can taste that these pizzas are made with love. In addition, the welcome is also incredibly friendly and you feel that this is a family business that does this with love and passion. Really tasty Pizza where you eat the crust, that says a lot, and delicious Pasta. My favorites Popola de Carne Pizza and Penne Tuna pasta.

Pizzeria Tomato & Basil has been located on Eerensplein in Bezuidenhout for many years. I always walked past it. This summer I visited it for the first time with a foreign guest and have repeated it many times with or without friends. And even though I'm not an outspoken pizza eater. The base is nice and thin and crispy, natural or spelled base and available in medium and large. The topping is fresh and truly delicious. The menu indicates whether it is suitable for vegetarians and whether it is healthy. There are also other dishes such as lasagna, spaghetti, macaroni, starters and salads. The desserts are delicious, such as my favorite Tiramisu. There is chocolate cake 'Death by Chocolate' based on an old family recipe, also delicious! The restaurant is run by a family in an excellent manner, with a chat and a friendly word for all customers.

Meh... They used to make great pasta and pizzas, but as of lately, the quality has deteriorated. The crust is way too thin, crunchy and lacking flavour, more like German flatbread than a pizza base. I do wish they were more generous with toppings. Literally five slices of budget-quality ham, a sprinkle of paprika, and a tiny portion of champignons do not make me feel like it is worth coming back for more.

Don't understand the rave reviews. Ate here and had 2 pasta. 1 penne green pesto and 1 spaghetti Bolognese. The green pesto was bitter. The Bolognese sauce just normal and nothing special. I can do better myself. Pizza bases are baked the day before 'because it is so busy on pizza day' which is incomprehensible to me. Friendly people!

We could pick up the pizza in 25 minutes. If you come by after 25 minutes, it will take another 20 minutes before they start making pizza!!! Regular customers come first and the fact that a few children have to wait an hour for their pizza is a side issue. Bad thing….

We’ve been going here since it opened and it’s my favorite place to eat pizza. Yes it can be really busy and you have to wait because it’s sooo goood. The family who run the place are so lovely always stopping by for a chat when possible

Tomato & Basil is a pizzeria with a brick oven where incredibly delicious pizzas are made. With spelled base, with extra topping and thin base. Tuesday and Friday pizza day. In addition, lasagna and other pastas. The desserts, Tiramisu and Death by Chocolate are highly recommended. Run by a family on De Eerensplein in The Hague, always a friendly word no matter how busy they are. Take away and eat at the table.

This is a good home style place. Not flashy or fancy, just good. And that's enough. Pizza had a nice thin crust and lots of cheese. Toppings were good too.

Restaurant has an amazing atmosphere with lanterns, fish tank and other decor which is inviting. Music is lively and goes with the flow of the restaurant. We ordered pasta carbonara and chestnut mushroom Alfredo with chilli. It was delicious and the chilli was right with the pasta. Portion size was perfect for one person. Everyone serving us food are always smiling which adds to the atmosphere. Tiramisu was also delicious. Can’t wait to be back and try pizzas and cheesy bread.

For pizza and calzones, this place is a great value, especially on Tuesdays and Fridays when they have specials. Salads are expensive but the ingredients aren’t just the usual. There is nicer pizza to be had, but this place works great as a takeaway go-to because the ratio of quality to price is good. Sometimes the staff taking the phone order get confused or forget something, but they’re young, so it’s understandable. Try the veggie pizza and the calzones!

Lasagne viel laatste keer erg tegen en pasta Rosso had weinig smaak en had ikzelf beter gemaakt. Het was het geld niet waard. Pizza’s oké.

Wat een heerlijke pizza, ken ik Den Haag geen betere. Dunne bodem, verse ingrediënten. Vriendelijke bediening en leuke korting op dinsdag en vrijdag. Tot binnenkort.

Still one of the best local Italian restaurants. Great special offers on Tuesday and Friday! Went here on a Saturday with 2 adults and 2 small children. High chairs available! We had spaghetti Bolognese, spaghetti aglio olio, penne pesto verde and tagliatelle pollo Rossa (a local favorite!). It was all wonderful 😊 the place was close to full and a steady pizza take out at the same time. Staff was busy but concentrated. It's a small quaint restaurant, very informal, nothing fancy but the pasta and pizzas are worth it!

Ik was zeer aangenaam verrast over dit restaurant, wat ik bijzonder fijn vond dat je kon kiezen voor volkoren pasta en pizzabodem met volkoren, fijn als je lowcarb wil eten, dat zie je helaas veel te weinig in de Nederlandse horeca, complimenten hiervoor

Een echte Italiaan. Ik kom hier twee keer per week maar zou het elke dag kunnen eten. Op dinsdag en vrijdag haal je een large pizza af voor 8,50. Top restaurant en aardige mensen!

Beste pizza’s in de regio. Toen ze begonnen woonde ik om de hoek, nu reis ik er met plezier een half uurtje heen en weer voor. Een absolute aanrader!
