Takeaway bakery with excellent products, a bit chaotic, especially in the early morning. Prices are perhaps a bit too high. The sandwiches could use a bit more filling!

Javastraat 66-bedrijfI have enjoyed coming here to get fresh bread for over ten years, especially the dark brown round loaf (s3ir). Unfortunately, I have noticed that the quality has deteriorated significantly over the past year. Yesterday, I visited Afrah Fes’s bakery on Javastraat again. It seems as though the recipe has changed, because there is far too much salt in the bread these days. Additionally, I found a large piece of wood in my bread, which of course absolutely should not happen. In my opinion, the quality of the bread has clearly declined. I find that very unfortunate, because I always enjoyed coming here. After having already noticed that the bread was far too salty, I gave it a few more chances. But after my experience yesterday, I’ve had enough. It is a pity, because I was a loyal customer for years.
