Sweet bakery in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

Unfortunately, the taste quality of the products leaves a lot to be desired. It all looks very nice, but it just tastes dry and old. After we were deceived by the appearance and left a lot of money behind, we unfortunately had to throw some of it away.

“Extremely disappointed with this experience!” I recently visited this waffle restaurant in Amsterdam, attracted by its concept and positive reviews. However, my disappointment was total. The prices are downright exorbitant for waffles which, honestly, are not worth the price at all. It feels like a tourist trap where quality has no importance. The portions are small, the quality average, and the service far from up to par. We were not even offered to make ourselves comfortable, and the welcome was cold. For the price, I expected much better. I absolutely do not recommend this place, especially if you are looking for a real dining experience at a reasonable price in Amsterdam

I would appreciate it if you work on the taste of your food and drinks. The food is dry and does not taste good at all. The coffee is even worse. It tastes very bad even with sugar in it.

A hot chocolate (cacaolat) is €4 and if you want a little cream on top it is €2 more when in other places it is 70 cents. We had our drinks there and he put it in a takeaway glass, all the customers who were there had it the same...

You see the display and you would eat everything. But they ripped us off from the competition with the toppings. Typical smart-ass guiris deceives. 2 waffles €18... How unpresentable. But they were delicious, that's why I give them 2 miracle stars

The macarons are terrible... 1 year ago perfect maccarons this year, old dry maccarons smelling like a cellar. Unfortunately I only ate it in Germany. Thank you for being there last time

Insanely good cakes and deserts...the stuffed croissants are amazing and serviced slightly warm. Strong tasty coffee. Highly recommend

Visited here as a late night sweet treat, the place was pretty busy but had a few tables and chairs toward the back of the shop. They had a large variety of premade waffles on display but they looked quite stale and like they had been there a while. The crepes were made fresh to order so both me and my partner ordered one each, was pretty expensive considering the items purchased - 2 crepes, 1 Fanta and 1 Coffee = €30. Luckily they tasted lovely and we received a large portion each.

Overpriced and Unpleasant Experience I was really disappointed with this bakery. The prices are outrageously high for what you get—it's like they’re charging luxury prices for low-quality items. I ended up buying things I didn’t even want, because the staff didn't seem to know the menu well and kept pushing me to try overpriced items. The pastries were stale, and the bread was dry. Honestly, I felt like I was overpaying for items that weren’t fresh or even enjoyable. Definitely not worth it, and I won’t be back.

I do not recommend!!! Excessive price compared to the quality of the products, everything is done a few days before so everything is hard and dry. 30th for 2 éclairs and an ultra floury pancake. Very unpleasant saleswoman.

Desserts, waffles and churros were made hot in the microwave - espresso was ok - milkshake was too thin... but the price doesn't justify it.

Food tasted like it had been there for ten years and as if they had used the sugar waffles from Lidl. After I looked for my change, the woman at the checkout rolled her eyes and said in a grumpy tone “waiting 20 minutes”. 12.50€ for an old waffle there are definitely better ones in Amsterdam

An absolute must if you want to snack in the city. Super tasty and absolutely loving and very polite advice. The lady was very patient with us because we didn't know what to take. Everything is just so incredibly sweet. The recommendation is definitely the Bueno Cream... Guys, that's a sin.😍 We were here last year, we are here this year and we will definitely come back.

I usually don’t leave reviews but the macarons that I had there earlier today were absolutely disgusting and very VERY stale, I had to throw them away after the first bite. Hopefully they will start to check the quality of the products that they sell

Delicious food in the center of Amsterdam! Dubai crepe is highly recommended! Not too sweet and very tasty. Also tasted the Dubai croissant and it is definitely recommended. The staff was very friendly and polite.

Good churros but €17 for a churros and a coffee is nonsense

The place and food are excellent. But the girl who works, named Sarah, is rude to the customers, especially the Arabs. Unlike the Syrian boy, I think his name was Asaad, he was highly respected.

The bubble tea here is super good, the best we've had so far. The chocolate cookies are even made warm. The prices are a bit expensive, but they are suitable for the conditions in Amsterdam.

Best croisaant I recommend.... friendly staff good service 👌 Seriously, I love this place ♥️ and it's very rewarding the way you make me fall more in love every day. I tried the macarons. They were crusty, dry and tasteless, as if they were many months old.

Especially deal with Christine (the blonde, sweet girl), she's so sweet 😍, her mini pancakes, creamy fruit croissants, chocolate sauce, but most of all, her smiling staff are so nice. I definitely recommend you to stop by :)

This is a beautiful place that I randomly entered while wandering the streets of Amsterdam and was impressive with its desserts. Strawberry Crepes and cappuccino duo was incredible.

Nice food and service, but 9€ for 2 pieces of simple pastry is a bit too much. I took a cinnamon swirl and something with chocolate, they heated it up which was nice.
