Great team, pleasant and the food are amazing

Disappointing experience at this Backwerk location. A friend and I picked up sandwiches and were walking to the register when we overheard staff suggesting we were trying to steal them despite us clearly heading to pay. We did nothing suspicious and being talked about like that while still in the store was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I understand theft is a concern, but there are more respectful ways to handle it. This left a bad impression.

SINCE THIS WEEK YOU CAN NO LONGER PAY WITH CASH, ONE CAN HOPE THE COMPANY GOES BANKRUPT. THEY ARE CHASING AWAY CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE BEEN ENJOYING THEIR SANDWICH FOR YEARS

Incredibly nice people. However, the pretzel with cheese consistently has far too little cheese compared to other Backwerk locations. It's not worth the extra 50 cents. See photos for the difference :(

The employees were incredibly kind, but the manager's behavior toward his staff was completely beyond me. One employee tried to fix a malfunctioning cash register, and his manager, in the most derogatory tone of voice, told him to focus on the customers, as this was considered unfriendly. What a sad bunch. I wish the employees here all the best.

The staff are exceptionally friendly and kind. Unfortunately, it's not enough to give more, as the sandwich shelves are almost always empty. I almost never have what I want. There's also a Backwerk near my work at the Kralingse Zoom metro station. It's cheaper (about 30 cents per item) and much better stocked. They always have everything. Want to see how they do things there?

I’ve gotten coffee there a lot I think it’s the best in the station. The service is great too. The food could be better sometimes, but when it’s fresh it’s good.

They sell day old bagels for 6 euros, don‘t go there if you don‘t want dry, stale food for an expensive price.

Friendly employees. Case looks neat. But I do have something to say about the range. Wouldn't it be nice if the sandwiches changed every few months? It's much of the same.

The employee was very nice and the stores looked nice. Only a trash can was missing and therefore the tables were full.

Sandwiches had been there for a while, but they were tasty. Staff are friendly. The range is not that large.

Bagel with carpaccio very dry. Shop assistant almost pushed me away and didn't give me time to choose my sandwich. Never again.

Nice warm sandwiches, they change them regularly. Unfortunately, they removed the few tables in the shop, now you need to eat somewhere else in the station.

I think it's a great sandwich shop. Always fresh stuff and better than the company canteen. You will receive super fast and friendly help. Too bad they no longer have the pastrami sandwiches. But there remains plenty of choice.

Sandwiches are fine, but your hot chocolate is just water. 3.50 for a cup of hot water is quite expensive.

The people working here were so grim I thought I had interrupted a funeral. Also, if you order more than one hot beverage, there are no trays to help with carrying. The mozzarella sandwich was ok. A bit expensive but most places in the station are.

There was one egg salad sandwich left, so I asked if there were any more sandwiches coming. There is still 1, it was said. So I had to explain that I might want another one. It is not without reason that I ask whether sandwiches would still be made. Plastic is so bad that you have to pay 0.30 extra. I asked if I could get a sandwich without a plastic bag but that was not possible. I took the sandwich out of the bag and threw the packaging in the trash. But because I paid 0.30 for it, it must be better for the environment. Put these sandwiches in paper bags if it is that bad for the environment. And if you have to pay extra, pay normal prices. Nowhere is it this expensive.

If you are on time, they are very tasty sandwiches, but last week the salmon was completely brown. According to the gentleman, the sandwiches can be left for 2 hours, which is indeed stipulated by law. But you cannot put salmon and many other types of meat out of the refrigerator for 2 hours at 30 degrees... the salmon had just been there for an hour, but there was no pink left to see... What was shocking was that the gentleman simply left the salmon alone, no matter how much I tried to convince him that it would make people sick. I'm so shocked at how these people use labels before their own sense that I won't be coming back. Paying so much money only to get sick... no thank you
