BackWerk in Centrum

They used to always open nice and early. Now it says 6:30, but that's incorrect. The point of a location at the station, I think, is so people can grab a sandwich before work. This is no longer possible for early workers. Edit: It seems to be opening earlier again in the last year or so, so it's only fair to update my review accordingly. The staff is also friendly and they're always quick. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up considerably.

It is not the fault of the staff, but the franchiser behaves like a dictator in the business. I'll skip the branches in Groningen if you don't mind.

According to your opening hours on both Google and the Backwerk website, you're supposed to open at 8 a.m. on Sundays. It turns out it's only 9 a.m. When the store finally opens at 9 a.m., there are no sandwiches to sell. And no one helps you either. Just sleep tight then. I'll just buy a sandwich at the Appie, which is already open at 8 a.m. Good luck!

The people who work here are fantastic! I always feel welcome, and they're always happy to help. Definitely recommended!

Open from six onwards, so one can buy a real early breakfast prior to work. Broodje gezond is amazing. 10/10 would go again.
