The perfect quaint little speciality coffee shop right on the outskirts of the city. I had a great filter coffee from Tanzania and then an amazing/ one of the best cold brews I’ve ever had!

A real gem in the neighbourhood, and they have other shops if this location is too far for you. My only regret is that I didn’t buy more beans. Stopping by every time I’m in town for their great roasts.

Great coffee and croissants! Had a cappuccino, the blend they are using is a bit on the stronger side which I like. Coffee has character! The croissant was buttery and crispy. The interior is really cool, it was a sunny day and I sat outside. Would be cool to have a couple more spots outside with proper chairs. Service was really kind and welcoming. Great spot to grab a coffee in the area.

Gonna miss having almost daily coffees here. Excellent great-tasting coffees! 2 varieties. Friendly staff. Lovely balanced flat white of coffee and milk. Not too strong, not too weak. Amazing taste! Always hard not to pop up on the way to work. Perfect!

Really nice cafe, nice and quiet

I didn't expect to receive unsolicited criticism about my parenting style over my coffee and croissants. During the first meltdown of one of my toddlers, I corrected him calmly and effectively and when I put on the coats during the second emotional expression, it was made clear to me that it had to be softer and that this scene was really due to my actions. Apparently the barista assumes that children have an on/off button - but I can't find it yet. For context: we were inside for a total of ten minutes, and in my opinion we were hardly a nuisance to other customers (with twins you have antennae for this). In short: don't come here with children. English: get ready to be criticized if your kid makes a sound. I missed the "adults only"-sign at the door and got a portion of pedagogical feedback with my coffee.

Expected more from the coffee here. personally, I find the blend that they are using for their cappuccino to be too strong in flavour, for me it almost had as strong a flavour as when drinking espresso. It's a good blend for the letter but not for cappuccino in my opinion.

AMAZING COFFEE! This is our go to option in the neighborhood. In summer they have a fantastic tonic which is my favorite. I also buy beans from them and their beans is also really nice.

Friendly service. Good coffee. Unfortunately sour. Which I don't really like. And you can't actually sit comfortably. With stools and benches without backrests.

Excellent coffee in both quality and technique. They offer multiple coffee beans choices for those who look for a more intricate coffee experience. The interior is very cozy, but during the sunny days it is also nice to sit in the outside dedicated space. Overall, I believe that Badeta understands the local vibes, and it has become a reference point for all the residents of the Science Park area.

I don’t know what happened but I got a very bad cappuccino today (to go) I couldn’t drink it at all. It was extremely sour :( The barista was not very nice too. However the interior looked great and super cozy. I believe this is not the usual way they do their coffee… at least I really hope so!

The coffee was really tasty in comparison to other specialty coffee shops in town, we also enjoyed the interior vibe of the cafe, very cute!

Had a delicious cup of cappuccino and had a nice chat with a friend outside. She had a smoothie and it looked very tasty too.

Coffee is good and large variety on offer...but 1,70€ for some foamed milk for kids is ridiculous even for Amsterdam-standard.

Have had some tasty coffees here, but the customer service lets it down. The barista snapping at her colleague in front of customers, and then snapping at you when they get the order wrong "Well did you order it like that!!?" ... and still the replacement coffee with the right milk but luke warm. Also strange when you pay 5 euros for a coffee (that has no flavour because a single shot was so weak [not the case previously]), that they can't make the effort to make a simple shot of coffee - when the shop is empty.

The second location of Badeta Koffiebranders, this time in Watergraafsmeer, is also fantastic. In a beautiful pink interior you can drink the best specialty coffee in Amsterdam. In this coffee shop you can also buy the tastiest freshly roasted coffee beans for home use. The staff is always up for a nice chat and can tell you everything about their coffees. Definitely recommended!

Such a lovely cafe that I happened to stumble upon on my trip to Amsterdam! I ordered a cappuccino and tried some of their baked goods - everything tasted great and the coffee was fresh. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable, and explained where the coffee beans came from. Such a great atmosphere at Badeta, with several tables both inside and outside so you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Highly recommend and will definitely be back - thank you!

De cappucino is één van de beste die ik in Amsterdam gedronken heb, echte kwaliteit koffie, een mooi gebalanceerde blend. De zaak is heel sfeervol ingericht, lekkere muziek op de achtergrond en vriendelijk personeel. Prijs wat aan de hoge kant, maar daar heb je wel kwaliteit koffie voor. Een zaak om terug te komen

Je gaat failliet voor een bakkie maar het is het waard. Als er ergens lekkerdere koffie is dan hier, dan hoor ik het graag. Maar denk niet dat die er is.

Ontzettend fijne cozy sfeer. Ik voelde me erg thuis, mede door de gezellige barista op de zondag! Ik kom graag snel weer langs.
