What a beautiful location to eat, amazing! The menu isn't very extensive, but it is tasty. I ordered a mocktail. For 9.95, you would expect a bit more in terms of flavor, and just with a little soda and a slice of lime doesn't really look like a mocktail. The staff are super friendly and cheerful! In short, we would love to come back again.

It was a lovely evening; the food was delicious. The service was good. My husband and I wanted softer chairs, which was arranged quickly. We had been married for 18 years; I had mentioned this when making the reservation, and a delicious dessert was served without me having to specifically request it—it was taken care of automatically. I found that very thoughtful. The staff were also super sweet. The atmosphere was cozy; my name was on a nice tile at the table—those are details I love. The music wasn't very intrusive, which I found pleasant. Yes, I would recommend eating or having drinks there.

We celebrated our wedding here and it was fantastic. A lovely, relaxed (beach) atmosphere outside and a fantastic ballroom inside with a view of the river and Nijmegen. The DJ was also amazing. In short, this made for an unforgettable day!

Very nice spot! I went there twice last week and will definitely be coming back more often. The food was tasty, although I found €14.50 for a single sandwich with avocado, salmon, and an egg to be a bit on the small side in terms of portion size. An extra slice of bread would have been nice. However, there are a few points for improvement: it is a shame that there is no staff walking around on the beach to take drink orders. When it is packed, there is a lot of revenue to be made here! Additionally, unfortunately, no action was taken when a dog pooped on the beach and the owners left it there, not even after we had informed the staff. Finally, there are warning signs regarding the dangerous undertow caused by the low water level and large boats. Because many people overlook these, a larger sign would really make things safer here. Otherwise, a super nice beach bar with a really good vibe, nice staff, and I definitely recommend it!

You feel like you're abroad here. Sitting comfortably under the parasol plane trees, with a view of the Waal and also, in the spring, of a stork's nest. The menu is varied enough. Tasty salads with lots of fresh vegetables. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is available nearby on the dike, but sometimes there is a very long line. In hot weather, it is therefore better to drop your dog off there first to prevent burnt paws. It is nice that dogs are welcome. 🌞🐾🐾🌞

The service deserves a huge compliment: incredibly hospitable, professional, attentive, and always with a smile. Thanks to their dedication, we and our guests were able to enjoy this special day without a care in the world. The location is also truly fantastic. The breathtaking view during the evening party created a unique atmosphere, while the cooling sea breeze made it even more pleasant. Moreover, the beach in front of Baiana proved to be the perfect spot for our wedding photos, which turned out beautifully. Baiana exceeded our expectations on all fronts. We look back on this special day with immense pleasure and would choose Baiana again without any hesitation. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience a wedding, party, or dinner at a top-notch location!

We mainly knew Baiana for good food, drinks, chilling... But there is more! We hosted a party at Baiana. The reception was outside under the terrace, followed by a great party inside. It was truly amazing. All the guests had a fantastic experience; it is a beautiful location with a view over the Waal. You can go in any direction here, and they are incredibly helpful. Lindy also helped us tremendously during the process and was always thinking along with us. We will definitely be back! Thank you very much!

It's also worth spending a hot day here because of the beach next to the building. You can also see horses and cows nearby, enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Chill vibe, music, beach, shower. It's a shame they have hardly any gluten-free options. Frying the fries separately from the snacks would be great for people with celiac disease.. Furthermore, nice music, a parasol.. in short, a foreign summer vibe in Bemmel.

Last Friday, we celebrated a company outing at Bajana with a delicious barbecue. Compliments to the chef. Super location with friendly staff, a beach atmosphere, and a view of the Waal; despite somewhat less-than-ideal weather conditions, we sat/stood comfortably in a beautiful, cozy stretch tent.

Today I took a walk from home to Baiana, just like Zijdewinde, one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. They have plenty of seating and variety. Even when there was a power outage, they handled it flexibly. The staff was young, but attentive and friendly. Water for the dog was no problem. Moving to another seat with a first-class view of the Waal was also effortless. I would love to try the wood-fired pizzas there at another time! A fantastic place with a beautiful view. You can swim along the canal, it has a beach, and the sun loungers are free. The only downside is that you have to go and pick up your own food from the bar in the beach area. Unfortunately, there's no table service.

Meet up here with friends for lunch and had dinner here again after a walk. Lovely terrace under the plane trees. My Asian salad was very tasty. The tarts look nice, but the taste is very ordinary. Lots of choice on the drinks menu. In the evening I had the Tikka Masala, which tasted good, only the paneer was way too salty. Friendly service, and the interior looked nice too. On the other side of the building there is a beach bar outside with pizza etc., but that seems to be a completely different business. Worth returning to.

What a delightful spot on the Waal! It is wonderful to spend time on the restaurant's terrace, and the beach bar is also great. The staff is amazing. Wonderfully enthusiastic and attentive. It is nice that they are proactive (we wanted to sit closer to the water after dinner) and that there is room for a short, friendly chat (or "loose chatter" as they say in Brabant). We had a good laugh and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We visited twice this weekend—for the first time—so yes... we will definitely be back. Keep up the good work, team Baiana!

We celebrated our wedding at Bainana (drinks, dinner, and party). A wonderful day at a beautiful location. The food was fantastic, but the collaboration with Bainana and the service from the staff were even better. They were incredibly friendly, hospitable, and flexible. We wanted for absolutely nothing and can recommend it to anyone to hold their (wedding) party here.

Birthday party held with 20 people. Nice selection of appetizers. Private corner for my friends/family, good service, friendly staff with a dedicated contact person (hostess). The location is fantastic, situated by the river...

Visited Baiana for the first time today. We were looking for a location just outside Nijmegen. It turned out to be a perfect choice. Beautiful terrace, good food and drinks, and above all, very friendly and attentive staff! Very service-oriented; whereas elsewhere you sometimes have to ask for the same thing a few times, here you noticed that they were really focused on their work! Hospitality 10/10!

Such a lovely spot. You can sit "upstairs" on picnic benches or lounge sets with cushions, or down on the little beach. When it gets busy, you do end up sitting a bit close together there. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly! Top spot. Don't tell too many people.

Bizarre prices. A sandwich with 3 slices of carpaccio for €14.50. Self-pickup only. A charcuterie board for €24.50 with 4 pieces of pita bread, 3 pieces of cheese, wafer-thin fuet, and some cucumber. I am used to higher prices, but this is completely out of proportion.

A lovely resting place by the Waal. "After a brisk bike ride in 7 degrees, Baiana was the perfect place to warm up. Upon entering, we were immediately warmly welcomed by the staff. Our eyes immediately fell on the delicious pastries in the display case; we opted for the carrot cake with a hot chocolate. And let's be honest: the carrot cake tasted even better than it looked! The surroundings are beautiful, and from the shop, you have a magnificent view over the Waal. With the sun shining, the pleasant background music, and the friendly atmosphere, this was a top-notch experience. We will definitely be coming back here more often!"

The buffet, prepared entirely to our wishes, was excellent. And all of this in a beautiful location overlooking the Waal River. Highly recommended.

We held a New Year's reception for work here. We had about 60 guests and also planned an activity that required quite a bit of preparation. The Baiana staff were very helpful; much was possible, and they were also flexible at the time of the event. The appetizer platters and pizzas were delicious, and the service, combined with the location and view, made it a truly wonderful place to gather!

To celebrate my father's 82nd birthday, we had lunch at Baiana. We had exactly the table we wanted, with a great lunch menu that catered to everyone's taste. The service was incredibly friendly, and everything was delicious and looked appetizing. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

A wonderful location for a cozy, relaxed, and delicious lunch. The welcome and service are super friendly. You couldn't feel more welcome. Lunch consisted of a Tuna Melt and a cup of soup. Both delicious! It's a shame I didn't have more time, because you could easily spend hours here with a drink and watching the boats go by. In good weather, there's also plenty of outdoor seating. This location is highly recommended!

The host was attentive and made it truly personal, making us feel completely welcome. The beach area behind it is fantastic – we enjoyed a cocktail and a craft beer in the sun there last Thursday and today. It feels like a mini-vacation every time we visit. Highly recommended!
