A wonderful location for a cozy, relaxed, and delicious lunch. The welcome and service are super friendly. You couldn't feel more welcome. Lunch consisted of a Tuna Melt and a cup of soup. Both delicious! It's a shame I didn't have more time, because you could easily spend hours here with a drink and watching the boats go by. In good weather, there's also plenty of outdoor seating. This location is highly recommended!

We liked it so much when we visited for cocktails and pizza in summer 2024 that we vowed to return again when we were in the area. This time we had brunch. It was delicious. Staff were helpful and welcoming Lovely menu, cool vibes by the riverside beach. This is a real hdden gem!

Beautifully situated on the Waal River with a small sandy beach and loungers, easily accessible by bike, plenty of seating inside and out, and a relaxed atmosphere! I absolutely love it here.

Enjoy the wonderful view of the Waal River. Even though it can get very busy, you don't feel cramped. Excellent service, a real 10. They pay attention to you, are friendly but not pushy, and the drinks and snacks are delicious.

A super fun beach bar on the Waal River for drinks, coffee, or a bite to eat. Don't expect a top-notch culinary experience, but simply a cozy and friendly atmosphere. We had a shot glass with drinks for six people, about €15 per person.

The host was attentive and made it truly personal, making us feel completely welcome. The beach area behind it is fantastic – we enjoyed a cocktail and a craft beer in the sun there last Thursday and today. It feels like a mini-vacation every time we visit. Highly recommended!

Last Friday, we hosted a party for 60 people under the stretch tent at BAIANA to celebrate our registered partnership. The service was excellent, from the welcome reception to the delivery of the gifts to the car. BAIANA is a beautiful venue on the Waal River, where a great deal of attention was paid to the interior and exterior design. The party had exactly the informal, sandy setting we envisioned. Nice spot on the Waal River. A few minor things kept it from getting 5 stars for us. The service was super friendly and pleasant, but a bit chaotic. We'd already ordered, and then a colleague came by several times to ask if we wanted to order, even though everyone was walking around with an order phone in hand. The downstairs area is nice, but the acoustics are a bit tricky for us older people 🤭. We couldn't hear each other (well). The food was good, but not quite good enough for 5 stars. For example, the pasta was a bit too lukewarm. The wine was good, but we ran out of our preferred wine, which happens. But those are the little things that keep it from getting 5 stars.

We had a delicious meal with 15 people. The service was friendly and the food was good. Excellent value for money. Beautiful view of the Waal River.

Great place on the river bank. The have transformed the place into a real beach club with a sandy beach with deck chairs and parasols and a bar with a cool seating area. The restaurant inside looks great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great place for a summer day, lunch or dinner.

Last week, I had a wonderful outing with my team, including young kids. We were given a fantastic welcome. Everyone was given plenty of attention, and we wanted for nothing. The pizza and tasty snacks were delicious and more than enough. I highly recommend this if you enjoy a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere, good service, and super friendly staff. 10/10!

What a wonderful location for our annual staff party. The entire ground floor was ours with access to the veranda and the beautiful view over the Waal. The BBQ was the best in a long time! The great service kept walking for you with a big smile on their face and this despite the tropical temperatures. Big compliments to the entire team! No glass remained empty! We look back on a great meeting!

We recently had the opportunity to throw a wonderful party at Baiana for 120 people in the lounge. A beautiful room and a very nice view. We also heard from guests that they were impressed by the beautiful space. The staff was also very friendly and had a good sense of what was needed. The snacks and drinks were also delicious and successful! We could ask anything, nothing was too much and we were really unburdened. We would definitely recommend Baiana if you are considering throwing a party!

We wanted to throw a party with a beach vibe. Last Friday it was finally time and it was really well organized. Great service, delicious snacks and drinks and with our feet in the sand we really had a nice beach vibe. I would definitely recommend it!

Best place in lent I recommend it if you would like to have a good quite time in winter in side and at the summer time in the beach it is also very cozy I recommend always to try the salad and the pizza outside

We celebrated our wedding at Baiana, together with almost 100 guests. Before that we had the Lounge, with a surrounding balcony that was a huge addition to the party atmosphere due to the beautiful weather. We thought it was great: the staff, the room, the view, it made our day perfect. We were well thought out about our wishes. The module in which you can make your own quote works very well. It is immediately clear what you spend per part, so you can decide for yourself how crazy you want to make it. We were also given plenty of time and space to discuss our questions during the preparatory conversations. All types of dietary requirements were taken into account. In short; We are very satisfied and can recommend a party at Baiana to everyone!

I celebrated my 40th birthday in the tent outside. I continued with the après ski theme that Baiana has rolled out before and it was a great success. A really great party where everything was thought of. Everywhere they go that extra mile and think along with you. Also on the evening itself surprised with many nice extras such as a nice layout for my guestbook, fun activities during the party and the distribution of foam sticks. Really enjoyed it so much and relieved, fantastic! Thank you very much!

Very informal and beautiful surroundings on the Waal with beautiful views. Very friendly staff. Large building with plenty of places to sit. Even in summer there is a real beach with sun loungers.

Great tent! Beautiful view and nice cozy atmosphere. We come here often, but last Saturday we celebrated the birthday here for 2 of our children. Everything arranged so well. Someone regularly walked by to take drinks. Food super well prepared and delicious!

Successful apres-ski party for my girlfriend. Well arranged with snacks and drinks, great D-J and beautiful location. Highly recommended for organizing a party, everything is taken care of and there is plenty of time for party time.

There was certainly an atmosphere because it was self-made. It was served for 4 people and we were pushed from one place to another, eventually we were given a plate/stone in front of us and we were asked to leave politely, while we would have liked to dine and dine longer. I think this is not service and seems very messy. We also had to wait at the toilet because there was no toilet paper. And once outside, someone had been spitting. Could they also just dump a bucket of water over it? A no-go for me.

NEW YEARS ACTIVITY RUNNING GROUP LENT NIJMEGEN After pleasant coordination and preparation in the period before January 4, we were warmly welcomed in the tent on the beach on January 4. Cozy atmosphere, wintery but warm. The staff is very helpful in managing our activities, including our own pub quiz. After drinks with delicious snacks, we ended the afternoon with a delicious stew buffet: something for everyone, meat and vegetarian. Baiana is a great place to go for these types of group activities. Everyone contributes to a good atmosphere and everything is possible. Really great! Thank you! We celebrated our 40th anniversary here. The space with a view of the Waal is a perfect location for a party. There were about 70 people. Good preparation with lots of options, very friendly staff, we lacked nothing. Absolutely recommended!

Stopped there by chance on a bike tour and fell under a parasol 🤣 enjoyed fresh pizza from the stone oven with a wonderful view of the Rhine, sorry Waal. We'll be back next season

We celebrated our 12.5 years together (but not married) at Baiana. We would do it again next year :) the location is cozy and atmospheric. Nice balcony, to catch your breath after a dance. Can easily accommodate 100 people. Child friendly. Food is tasty, tastes good, and everything was well taken care of.

Beautiful place on the beach and I am very happy that someone is trying to make it beautiful again. The information on the website was a bit unclear for us: if we want to eat pizza, we can NOT sit in the restaurant? We had a beautiful stay on the beach, but we had to pick up and take our drinks and food with us. And then the pizzas cost the same as at Zappa's and I found them less tasty (even though they come from a brick oven) and they were also a bit small. We also received them in a box and I would have actually liked to have them on a plate with cutlery for that price. Staff very friendly
