Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere. Very friendly staff.

I normally find it a nice place to be, but today I walked in. It was relatively quiet, except for a large group of women enjoying a late lunch. Food had just been brought out. I sat down and watched. I wondered how long it would take for the women coming and going to give me a sign that they'd seen me. NOT... after someone wanted to pay and one of them walked to the register, they couldn't ignore me. After paying, she came over to me, and I told her I'd been there for 14 minutes and would really like a drink. "Well, I was busy," she laughed, "but I'm coming now." She walked to the bar, rinsed a glass, and set it aside because a customer was coming to pay. Then she joined in a conversation with her colleague, and I just sat there waving. I put on my coat, waited a bit, and then walked over to the group of people talking and told them I didn't like that. On my way out, a more daring woman followed me and apologized, saying we're understaffed. Well, then you shouldn't be solving one question with just two people, I'd say, and... handle everyone in turn and not do three things in between. I just wanted to mention this because there were a lot of stars above.

Delicious food and even more delicious beer. In all shapes and sizes. We went for the local beer, 't Bemmeltje. The delicious bock beer, and the bad-ass blond and kwartje were also delicious. We'll definitely be back. There's so much to see and do in Bemmel and the surrounding area.

Thanks again, woken up by antisocial behavior and noise pollution coming from Het Wapen! Ridiculous - a honking concert right outside their door at 1:44 a.m.! You're not alone in this world...

Excellent little place to enjoy a patio meal.

Ossabucco tasted a lot like tomato paste. The skewer was cold and undercooked. I mentioned it and it was heated. Heard: learning experience😆 The schnitzel was fine, and so were the mussels. The atmosphere is good, the service was okay.

Jammer dat we in een crèche terecht kwamen. Kinderen wisten niet beter. Ouders zijn verantwoordelijk. Maar ja, de rekening moet je dubbel en dwars betalen. Waarom vraag je de ouders niet om de kinderen aan tafel te houden?

We had a nice lunch. The room is nicely decorated. The service was excellent, we had a walker with us, which we could easily keep with us. The service was good. This was the first time for us, but certainly not the last time.

To have a quiet chat while enjoying a delicious lunch, my mother, sister and I had made a reservation at Het Wapen van Bemmel. All our expectations were met. Mother has difficulty walking and is visually impaired. The car could be parked nearby for free and her walker could also be placed nearby without bothering others. All advantages to repeating this more often.

Had fish and chips here 2 weeks ago. Nicely served on a wooden board. Unfortunately a small bowl of 4 cm in diameter with some lettuce. Very nice indeed. And was it really cod!!! Don't believe it... given the price it should have been cod.

Lovely bar restaurant in Bemmel. We both had the burger and fries. The burger was really tasty, thoroughly enjoyed it. Fries were good too. As was the Weiss bier. Staff were friendly and great at their job.

Certainly not enough for the big eater (or regular eater), mixed grill (29.50) means 1 skewer, 2 bones of spare ribs (without marinade), piece of bacon (this was very tasty) and 2 small pieces of meat. Fries were cold (asked for new ones and they were certainly hot). All the meat was lukewarm, you can make better spareribs at home, steak was tasty but not special. The other person's salmon was good, but it was a shame about the bones in it. After dinner we wanted to give some tips, but the waitress immediately became defensive and blamed us because we had not said anything immediately (which we had done about the fries, but we also felt bad about the rest and she already came asking how the food was when we had just taken 1 bite). Tried to explain that it was only a tip and not direct criticism, even though we were dissatisfied, but to no avail. We didn't dare to have dessert after the waitress' reaction and decided to get an ice cream opposite. This was an evening when you go to McDonald's afterwards.

August 7, 2024 Ate here with 4 people, it was very disappointing! I personally had a Caesar salad of Romano lettuce, without dressing, coupons where you bite your molars, bacon not cooked through, in short, bad. My son ordered Satay for €21 and received 1 stick of satay with 5 pieces of chicken. One person was satisfied. When asked whether everything had been satisfactory, we indicated where it was not, and we received dessert on the house as compensation. We won't be dining there again.

The meal was delicious, but it's a pity that vegetarian food was limited to 1 dish, which also contained a lot of pasta and few vegetables. That could have been a bit better. Great atmosphere, we sat outside. Good beer list with also good 0.0 beers.

We have now eaten here twice, I am gluten and lactose free. You say they are good for people with allergies, but unfortunately if the fries are fried in the same fat as the croquettes then there is a problem. It's a good thing I asked, otherwise I would be very ill. has become so, so delete those rules from your policy, you still don't understand it.

Ate a sandwich with my partner, the bread could have been a bit bigger, but now it looked like a sandwich from the lunch box that you take with you to work. For the rest we sat comfortably on the terrace

Wonderful to have something to eat or drink. Friendly staff, everything looks neat. Location is good and the food is delicious. What else do you want.

It's almost becoming a tradition to eat here after a few days away with the family. Lunch is always good, although it would be nice if we all got the food at the same time, but this remains difficult with a large group. Would say see you next time.

We live around the corner and sometimes come here during the week for a bite to eat. We think it is more of a bistro than a restaurant, but the atmosphere and food are excellent. We ate mixed grill and tournedos. You get a bowl of salad and Flemish fries. There is sufficient choice and the quality is good. There is also a terrace where you can sit on a nice day for a drink or a snack. Service is friendly and they ask if everything is to your liking and provide sufficient attention.

Delicious business lunch in this beautiful business. Very beautiful and modern with the eye-catcher being the tank for the beer in the middle of the store. The club sandwich was well received. Nice contact with the manager and operating staff.

Helped by two extremely friendly ladies on a quiet Monday. Good explanation, dietary requirements discussed and properly communicated to the kitchen, correct serving and cutlery adjusted for shared dinner wishes. Give the ladies a massage as a gift, they deserve it!!

On Monday evenings, Bemmel's coat of arms appears to be one of the few to be open. We arrived at a fairly deserted restaurant and luckily as the evening went on it became a bit busier. Delicious dinner and wishes were listened to carefully. Excellent and friendly service. Give the two ladies a compliment or offer them a wonderful massage...they deserve it!!

We ate salmon, which was delicious. Unfortunately hardly any vegetables. When we indicated this, a bowl of grilled vegetables was brought, delicious. This was also not charged, unlike the extra bowl of fries... With 4 people you only get a small bowl of fries. For dessert we had merengue sorbet ice cream, also very tasty.

The staff member was really distant and unfriendly, not a smile or a word could be said. Then don't work in the catering industry. That's why we left in no time. It was nice that the dog was welcome even though no water was offered to him

Had a nice dinner with 3 sets of friends. Delicious food and drinks and of course the atmosphere was pleasant. We had nice seats at a round table. The only downside was the cold draft we felt every time the outside door opened. Excellent service.

Precies zoals ieder 'Wapen van'. Niets speciaals. Weinig dames wc's. 2 stuks maar liefst, voor een feest van 150 personen een beetjeweinig. Bij de mannen ook 2, maar daar ook nog een aantal urinoirs.

afgelopen zondag geweest! was een top service, vooral de jongen met de 'sleeve´ was erg betrokken bij zijn gasten en erg vriedenlijk, hij had alle aandacht bij zijn gasten super om te zien!! zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Leuke en gezellige avond gehad. Jong personeel dat het vak nog moet leren.

De lunch was goed van kwaliteit. Maar als lunch 1 boterham gerookte rib-eye is voor een volwassen persoon toch wel erg weinig. Voor de prijs van 12€ mag je naar mijn mening meer verwachten. De boterham was wel lekker!

Zondagavond daar gegeten en het eten was weer heerlijk. Gisterenavond was de bediening (de jongeman met de 'sleeve') helaas drukker met zichzelf dan met de gasten... Hij was duidelijk niet gemotiveerd en daardoor ontstond er miscommunicatie. De andere dames uit de bediening waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ondanks dat is het wel weer voor herhaling vatbaar.

Gezellige sfeer en enorm aardige bediening. Ondanks dat het niet op de kaart stond, werden er voor onze kleinkinderen speciaal pannenkoeken geregeld! Die overheerlijk waren. Ook het eten van de " groten " was TOP !! Echt super bedankt!!

Bij binnenkomst was het even onduidelijk waar we konden wachten om naar onze gereserveerde tafel begeleid te worden. Wel werden we direct geholpen toen ik op iemand af liep. De tafel stond aan de rand, maar de deuren stonden open, waardoor het toch voelde alsof we op het terras zaten. Onze bestelling werd snel opgenomen. Het eten was erg mooi gepresenteerd en was daarbij ook erg lekker. Ten slotte mijn complimenten voor het aanbieden van plaatselijk gebrouwen bier, ook deze was erg goed!

Lief personeel, heel sfeervol. Familie had hier lunch gepland vanwege een overlijden. Bijzonder goede keuze!

Het wapen als de eerste plaats in Bemmel die ik ken, toen ik kwam naar Nederland.Paar jaar geleden het eten was heerlijke dan nu maar vriendelijkheid gasten vrijheid het zelfde.

Goed eten en drinken en ondanks dat het jonge meiden zijn is de service super. Ze zien alles complimenten.

Fijne plek om een hele avond te zitten, ontspannen sfeer, veel bier keuze en zeer goede bitterballen! Personeel is relaxt en vriendelijk.

Hier heb ik van een uitstekende lunch genoten op het terras. Ik was de enige die buiten op het terras zat, maar werd zeker niet vergeten door de bediening. En het broodje tonijn was geweldig: heel ruim belegd met een heerlijke tonijnsalade en veel verse bladgroente en grote kappertjes. Erg lekker!
