Bakerij Akbay in Kralingen-Crooswijk

The opening hours were completely wrong, so I called. I was told they were open, but upon arrival, it turned out to be closed. Today was my last chance.

I had the Turkish pizza with döner – tasty and well-filled. The restaurant itself is clean and tidy, nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was less than stellar. Because I hesitated about my choice and accidentally mentioned the wrong pizza a few times, the customer service quickly became irritated. That made it an awkward experience for me. It's a shame, because the food is excellent.

After being a customer for a long time, I've decided to stop coming here. The price-quality ratio is completely skewed. The amount of meat on your sandwich and Turkish pizza is truly embarrassing. There's also little mention of hygiene. The number of flies and mosquitoes flying around is unbelievable. Today is the last straw for me.

The Turkish pizza is definitely recommended. €3.50 is a very reasonable price for a tasty and semi-healthy meal.

I was very happy after gym and wanted to get a delicious Turkish pizza, but when I was the only one inside and asked for my food, my smile quickly disappeared. I had to ask the man for attention, and then apparently, a Turkish pizza HEATED is €3.50? There's a sign with the price, and one says €3 without and the other says €3.50 with salad. I said I didn't want anything on it, and he said, "So you want it cold?" So I had to pay 50 cents more at this store to get my food warm. Then one of his friends/customers walked in, and I was completely out of his mind. No more attention, and no pleasant atmosphere to enjoy. Meanwhile, I paid, and he slowly handed the pizza to me. I walked away, said thank you, and got nothing in return. The food wasn't that good either. Just go to the Toros bakery and get a pizza for €2.50.

Bought via too good to go, the store is closed at pick-up time. So strange, you can't do that and participate in a waste program.

Delicious doner kebab and flat bread.

This business is now called Bakery Akbay. Yesterday we walked past this place. We thought, let's give it a try. Bad food and really bad food. Not customer friendly, although that wouldn't even be a problem for us if the food were good. 1 star is already too much. It's better to go to sleep hungry than with a full belly from what you can buy here. Shame.

Food is excellent, freshly baked bread, well seasoned juicy meat, and HUGE portions. The prices are incredible too

Guys this is m. Food like we used to and the prices too! The price isn't even important, but this gives me the same feeling as 25 years ago, when there weren't so many bakeries. Now 4 in every street, but which one is good? Akbay for sure, I won't go to the Crooswijkseweg or Schiedamseweg anymore, but in Kralingen!!!!! Really delicious.

Broodje doner had niet echt smaak

Ik lees veel klachten over het personeel. Het zou eens sieren om te vragen waarom ze zo kortaf zijn. Na het lezen van deze reviews heb ik de dame gevraagd hoe haar werkweek eruit ziet. Ze werkt van open tot sluit (sluit is vaak langer dan de openingstijd, heb vandaag zelf mijn doner 1,5u na sluitingstijd gehaald) en 7 dagen in de week, omdat haar vorige collega (die ook 7 dagen werkte) overspannen thuis zit. Naast dat ze voor op de zaak staan, zijn ze tegelijkertijd achterin de bakkerij brood aan het bakken. Je kan klagen over deze hardwerkende mensen of je kan ze eens gedag zeggen als je je broodje haalt. En als je het vervelend vindt haal je toch ergens anders je broodje.

Heerlijk brood en vriendelijke bediening..

Veel eten om mee te nemen. Doner, Turkse pizza, broodje kipschnitsel, kapsalon. Natuurlijk ook brood en banket.

Goede service, gratis brood voor de volgende ochtend gehad

Kom hier al sinds dat ik hier in de buurt op school zat. Uitstekende kapsalon tegen erg schappelijke prijs. Gebrek aan gelegenheid in de zaak zelf te eten daarom 4 ipv 5 ster

Hier een Turkse pizza met döner en salade gegeten. Smaak was goed en de salade vers en knapperig. De pizza was ook goed gevuld. Personeel was vriendelijk.

Goede huisgemaakte Turkse pizza!
