Leider haben wir die Bewertungen zu spät gesehen… Von außen nett, von innen absolute Katastrophe. Wir haben 15,50€ für eine belgische Waffel mit Schokolade und Oreo bezahlt, die man genau so auch in einem Supermarkt kaufen kann. Dazu haben wir Pappteller und Plastikbesteck bekommen. Geschmeckt hat sie ebenfalls wie eine fertig Waffel. Absolut überteuert und dazu noch unfreundlich! Frechheit.

BE CAREFUL IT IS A PLACE TO SCAM PEOPLE!!! DON'T GO!!! AND IF YOU ARE GOING TO ASK THE PRICES BEFORE!!!

The chocolate was so sweet that it was impossible to drink it, the music at the entrance is very loud. The bathroom part is somewhat messy.

We ordered coffee and while waiting our coffees; the cafe bartender kept recieving orders from other customers and made their coffees first. I mean like 10+ people 😱 Then I interrapted him and said like we ordered like 20-30 minutes ago. And we were sitting in front of him...Then he made our coffess. Even with that very good coffee machine he managed to make coffees really bad. I literally drank milk as a coffee and couldn't even drink it and threw it away. Worst experience....

The service is really awful. I ordered one bubble tea, first there was the flavor I wanted, okay, I ordered another one. I wanted a middle cup but the two young ladies who worked today (21.12) didn’t ask me and said I only could order a large cup. And then I wanted to sit there, all the tables were free, but they say that with only one drink I couldn’t sit inside, I need to buy food. And it wasn’t written anywhere about that. And then I said I don’t want anything, they tried to threaten me saying they would put me on TikTok. If they do that, I will call police.

I had a terrible experience at this café. The service was absolutely awful. When we tried to order, the young lady working there kept saying that everything we asked for was unavailable. When we asked her what was available, her response was, “I don’t know, ask me,” which came off as rude and unprofessional. On top of that, the food was overpriced and disappointing. I paid 8€ for a donut that was as hard as a rock—not remotely fresh or enjoyable. To make matters worse, the staff member insulted us, adding to an already bad experience. Her attitude was shockingly poor and completely ruined our visit. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it, especially if that young lady is working there—it’s not worth your time or money.

I went with my uncles to this pastry shop to have some desserts out of a whim, and they charged us €40.75 for a reheated waffle and a crepe, we also ordered 2 teas that were not even good in my opinion, the girls who were there had a very bad attitude and personality, plus they knew how to speak in Spanish, when we asked them if they could speak in Spanish because it is easier for us to speak, they told us that they do not speak Spanish when they do speak. DO NOT ENTER

I give one star because I can't give less. A crepe, a waffle and 2 teas, €40.75. I had to ask because I was freaking out and the 2 super unpleasant, unfriendly waitresses gave me the ticket with a bad face, I got a stomach ache when I saw it.

Horrible, dos gofres 24 e, estaban asquerosos y para encima no me han tratado tan mal como la persona que me atendió aqui nunca. Muy desagradable el trato y el producto. Me sentí totalmente estafada y para encima me trataron fatal. No lo recomiendo a nadie y no volveré jamas a este sitio. Horrible todo!

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place. The service is terrible. We were attended by two girls that seemed like not having any interest to selling at all. They also turned up the background music really loud while we were eating and that was annoying. Secondly, I’d say we were scammed since they charged us almost 17 euros for one waffle. The menu screen shows some prices but they definitely don’t warn you that they charge every topping separately. Even after realizing that they charge toppings separately, the math didn’t add up to 17 euros. And when we asked why we were being charged so much for just one waffle, the girls wouldn’t give a reasonable reason, which was very weird and unprofessional. Anyway, don’t buy here!!

This place is a mess, I ordered a Waffel with chocolate, and it cost 16€ that waffle cost in other places around 9€.🤨🤨 the lady ( who has a bad attitude) never told me the real price, and the menu is not clear. In addition, the music was too loud. DO NOT EAT THERE!

You can't see the price they type in, they don't show you the card payment machine and just want you to tap on and prices are not stated anywhere. when you ask for a price their English is not well enough and it's so loud that you can't hear. stupidly i want stubborn enough to ask more questions or be suspicious

The girl that works there tries to scam me. All i wanted was a medium Bubble Tea. She said there is only the large one available….How hard is it to put less Bubble Tea in the large cup? And i orded that one with tapioca. After i paid the guy that make those told me they run out of tapioca…he offered me the refund which i take. He is the reason why i give 2 stars… for the girl -5.

Cakes are not priced up so be aware! €31 for two cakes and two small coffee's Cake was tough and a bit dry so I had it warmed up, Bueno wafer was soft and stale. Coffee was made with uht milk and tasted awful. Not sure how they can warrant the price. Background music was a bit loud and not quite what you would expect, I don't mind gangsta rap bit it was not suitable for families. All in all I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Personale maleducatissimo, un waffle ed un caffè 18 euro, quanto ho chiesto spiegazioni non hanno saputo cosa rispondere. Preciso che per fare un caffe hanno erogato tre tazzine, mi hanno dato una tazzina e levaltrevdue le hanno buttate ma nonostante tutto il caffè faceva schifo, spero di non vederli mai più.

Worst experience ever. AVOID IT. We went for a coffee and paid 15€ for 2 cappuccinos (which were badly done as the person did not know how to foam the milk) and 1 waffle which was the same as you get in albert heijn. Also the energy of the place was off. The waitress and the 2 men sitting inside ( I guess owners or managers) were arguing in front if us.

I very rarely write reviews. But this time I want to do it. Yesterday we visited the Bakery Cafe for the first time. In the first seconds when you enter this place, you will immediately notice many different cakes, cheesecakes, waffles, etc. Everything looks delicious and you really want to buy something. But unfortunately the first impression is not always correct. We bought: 3 Belgian waffles with chocolate and nuts, two donuts, two crepes with Nutella and banana and two small waters. And they tell us the amount – 63 euros. It's up to you to decide whether it's a lot or a little. But I think that's too much. Apart from sweets, there is not a single price tag here. A person believes his eyes, wants to eat something, orders something, and is told unreasonable prices at the checkout. And you, as a tourist who wants to walk around all day, eat something delicious, drink coffee and just relax, can't just refuse the order and leave Cafe. And I think the workers know this and are doing this on purpose to rip off as much money as possible from you. Of course there is a menu on the wall, but I tried to compare the prices on the receipt and on the menu board. And I didn't think the Belgian favle with chocolate and nuts was 9 euros. That is, the menu is not entirely relevant. Crepe costs around 6 euros. I wanted to attach a receipt, but unfortunately I lost it. The crepes were really tasty (but overpriced), the Belgian waffles tasted like salted herring. I suspect that not all products will one day be sold and stored in a shared refrigerator with all the other sandwich ingredients. The furniture is dirty, the walls are dirty, the toilet is dirty, various building materials are scattered on the second floor. I definitely cannot recommend this establishment. This place doesn't like its customers, this place only loves money.

Tourist scam place!!! I walked past and saw the space cookies on the window and decided to go in and buy some for the evening. Asked the lady how much THC the cookies contain and she said that one cookie keeps you good for two hours. Later I found out that these cookies do not contain any THC and the price was double what other places sell the same cookies! I highly recommend to avoid this place!

highly recommend just walking on instead of ordering here. bought a panini, but it came out warm and soggy, the letuce had been heated with it and tasted horrible. no listed prices anywhere means the place's insane prices feel like an actual scam. only redeeming quality was the nice and cool atmosphere inside.

Ein Ort mitten in der Stadt, dafür auch die Preise. Haben Donuts und Kaffee bestellt, die Donuts kamen relativ früh, doch unser Kaffee sehr spät. Bezahlt 11,50€ für Donut und Kaffee.

Late night cafe in the heart of Amsterdam. They didn't have a menu as had only been open for a month, or so we were told. We paid €11 for a crepe and a coffee which I thought was quite expensive. The crepe was nice but served on paper plate with plastic fork. The sitting area was quite untidy and had not been cleaned for likely the whole evening; we were there at about 10.30pm. There appeared to be two staff members so not sure why it was left to get so bad when it didn't seem very busy. It was alright for a late night bite but there is much better in Amsterdam.

Wie überall in Amsterdam wo es Touristen gibt.. sind die Preise recht gehoben. Der Espresso und das Essen hat aber recht gut geschmeckt. Ich finde allerdings.. Waffeln sollten immer frisch gemacht werden. Die Bedienung war hübsch und freundlich...;)

I had the waffle with Nutella, it was not bad, but it was way below average. What i disliked the most that the worker there along with a guest were talking about politics loudly, and talking bad about my country knowing that i am from that country!! Totally disrespectful to customers!!! I didn't enjoy that waffle and had to rush out of that place. I went there to enjoy a waffle and relax, but i got out very upset, this is not the way to handle a business at all! I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because the waffle was not that bad. Please talk politics elsewhere and focus on your work and always respect your customers!
