The food is good, but do note that if you order a family-sized bag of fries online, a plastic surcharge is added!? The fries are in a paper bag, so no plastic is involved.... When I asked one of the employees, they also looked at me strangely and couldn't tell me why that is charged. The owner was not present; I emailed him but never received a reply?!

The hygiene here really leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing seems to have been cleaned properly. Never again🤮

It's very filthy inside here; the owner has no idea how to keep things clean. That's why I won't be eating here anymore. This used to be a great cafeteria, but that leaves a lot to be desired now. The meatballs here are inedible. I'd be better off going to another one in Didam that actually puts effort into the business, like City Snack. Both in terms of food and hygiene… a shame…

Getting an ice cream with my daughter; the employee was very sweet to her, and we sat inside and enjoyed the ice cream.

You can eat wonderfully here! Very friendly people and, once again, delicious food and tasty sauce, and you can definitely get the best beef salad here. Truly delightful to enjoy :))

Yesterday I had a delicious meal at Bakhuus. Two special frikandellen (fried meatballs) with a special fries. The sauce was perfectly balanced between the fries and frikandellen, which made the flavors great. The restaurant looked neat and tidy, and I had a pleasant chat with the owner. So, a well-deserved five stars, in my opinion.

What a disgrace for Didam. From what used to be the best snack bar in town, where we picked up our weekly takeaway, to a shop I'd rather avoid. Staff lacking knowledge or motivation, and the food quality has plummeted. In fact, it's just become truly awful. It takes ages, tastes awful, and the atmosphere and ambiance are gone. Dear entrepreneur, I wish you the best of luck.

Unbelievable, delivered only 40 minutes past the scheduled delivery time. The fries were just cold and the croquette was cold (normally you’re supposed to burn your mouth on this). Their excuse was that they were busy, but the bag of food must have just been standing somewhere else, otherwise it couldn't get that cold. No apology from the delivery person, nothing. Shame on you! For example, in that situation, you could make the food again and then have it delivered so it is warm, but even that is apparently too much to ask...

The best chicken strips in the region with a special sauce with mayo and chili mixed together. For a snack bar with such fresh burgers and every bite you take is meat, I think it feels more like you're in a restaurant with all the dining space.

Ordered something tonight before 9am. Fries with American fries sauce. When I get home, yes, regular fries sauce with weak fries. Knocked right into the barrel for the umpteenth time. They don't see my crap anymore

Because we have had several dissatisfied experiences in the meantime, we have now decided to post a review. Ordered food online at 5:01 PM, which was confirmed to be delivered at 5:30 PM. That's great because I have to leave the house at 6:30 PM, so I can easily do that. At 5:45 PM I had not received anything, so I called just to be sure. “The delivery person has just left!” Fine, then the delivery person will arrive any moment. Still nothing delivered at 6:00 PM. So I call again... 'Very busy sir. Ah, I already know what went wrong. I'll print the order again and it will arrive as quickly as possible.' Sigh. Well, it's already been paid so we'll wait even longer. 15 minutes later the delivery lady comes to deliver the order on her bicycle. Thank you! The food is hot and tastes great. That can also be said. Nevertheless, the order is incorrect. I also ordered two cans of Hero Cassis and I received two cans of Fanta Cassis. And no, it's not the same! Tip: since this is the umpteenth time that the excuse 'it's busy' has been used, I recommend the following: adjust the delivery times online to reality and/or hire more staff. And if you use images of cans of Hero Cassis online, make sure you can supply them!

I often order food here and things are regularly delivered incorrectly or not at all. We generally don't make it a problem. Yesterday, however, the fries were cold and we were left with a severe stomach ache. The quality is sometimes very good and other times very poor, unfortunately.

Too bad that 1 star has to be given, we ordered food to take away. First of all, it was ready 10 minutes late, the chicken tower was inedible, you can smash a window with it and add onion while it was ordered without. hamburger tropical did not contain fried onions as shown, ordered fries with extra salt... no salt to be seen... ordered children's menu with apple sauce, which was not included. Too bad we didn't eat it.

Placed a large order yesterday. When I picked it up it said it was almost ready. After waiting 10 minutes I asked how long it would take. Apparently it was already ready. The girls who were working on it had apparently forgotten to pass it on. The chef/owner was also very unfriendly to the girls who did their best. Do this in private and not in front of the customers! There was someone else walking to take the order to the car. 👍

We come here from Aerdt specifically to eat ice cream. Very, very tasty 😋 Many different soft ice cream variations, as well as loose ice cream and both highly recommended 🍦🍨

They have delicious fries and stew. They also have very tasty ice creams, especially the bueno ice cream & the special cassis soft ice cream.

High fries done. Owner was friendly and the fries and snacks were more than sufficient. Only the staff was not informed that we were there. And we were completely ignored, we had already been sitting for 45 minutes without anyone showing interest in us. We went to the counter ourselves and had to tell them that we had the High fries. Tip: like to keep staff informed of certain things.

Nice location near the market with terrace. Easy parking (except during market times on Friday afternoon). Friendly service and good crispy fried snacks.

Since the takeover, the quality has been lacking. Fries are limp and often have dark brown spots. Sauce on top that made all the fries soggy.

I thought I'd just get some fries. Super dry and hard fries, unedible! How do you manage to ruin fries like that? Could go straight into the trash. The croquette and frikadel special was okay. Do something about the quality of the fries!

Een erg goeie snackbar met een gezellige eigenaar. Burgers zijn erg aan te raden.

Paar maanden geleden eten gehaald. Komen thuis: ongare friet en geen zout. Vandaag nog maar weer een keer geprobeert: o.a. twee cheese burgers, helaas nu zat er geen kaas op en een drupje curry. Gemiste kans.

Bijzonder gezellig en lekker met de familie op het terrasje gegeten met uitzicht op de Markthal in Didam. Friet met diverse sauzen genomen en iedereen een snack. Heerlijk! De zelfgemaakte rundvlees kroketten zijn aan te bevelen! 5 van de 5 sterren!

Lekker gegeten. Wij kwamen hier eerste paasdag en de eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ik ben erg blij met de passie die deze man heeft voor het ontwikkelen van zijn vegetarisch assortiment! Echt een enorme aanrader om te proberen. Beetje laat, maar alsnog de beloofde feedback: de vegetarische burger was heerlijk, de textuur is erg fijn en er zit een goede hoeveelheid saus op. De kaas proef je bijna niet maar het geheel is helemaal top. Zou deze zeker nog een keer halen!

Friet is lekker alleen je krijgt ongelofelijk veel Mayonaise op niet naast de friet maar erop bah erg onprofessioneel.

Goede snacks,en lekkere friet.de nieuwe chinese eigenaar doet erg goed zijn best om de klaten tevreden te stellen.

Wij kwamen met autopech in Didam aan, super vriendelijke mensen hebben ons geholpen en verwend met heerlijke kipsate en frietjes. Daana nog ijs en koffie gehad en inmiddels had de ANWB onze auto ook gerepareerd. Dank jullie wel!

Leuke locatie, vriendelijke eigenaar en personeel. Frietjes lekker , fritessaus iets minder, maar dat is persoonlijk. Koffie ok.

Op aanraden van de eigenaar heb ik de hete kip geprobeerd. Héérlijk in combinatie met de krokante frietjes. Aardige mensen en super nette zaak. Beslist een aanrader.
