The other day, I just wanted to pick up a croissant for my son. Something small, something simple. What did I get? A visibly grumpy and irritated employee before anything had even been said. I politely pointed to the croissant I wanted because the other one looked dark and dry. Then I was met with a deep sigh and an irritated shake of the head. Excuse me? Because I'd rather choose the item I'm paying for myself? When I brought this up, I was told in a snappy tone that "they're all the same and come in fresh." I finally told her she could keep the croissant and asked for a refund. That's simply not how you treat people. A little decency and customer service don't seem too much to ask. Dear employee: If you're so visibly unwilling to help customers, I wonder if working in a store is the right place for you. Perhaps you're too old to work in a store by now. A smile and some common sense cost nothing. To the manager: Please address this with your employee. This kind of workplace behavior is not only unprofessional but also detrimental to your business. Customers come for a pleasant experience, not to be yelled at. This happened on Monday morning, February 23, at 11:20 AM.

Yesterday, Saturday, January 17th, I picked up bread. I come all the way from Voorburg every week to get my bread and treats here. Besides the good quality, I mainly come for the staff. Always friendly, always ready to chat. They even offer a sandwich for my little one in the stroller. 🥰. I love coming here. And that's from someone who worked at another bakery in Voorburg for years and still drives all the way here. See you soon!

Got 2 ham cheese croissants, there was plenty of cheese from Lidl, they are much tastier and cheaper. Egg cakes are very dry and an Indian sandwich was missing.
