Bakker Hilvers in Schuytgraaf

Really tasty bread, it's just that the staff is so strange. The lady in the shop didn't know if the bread I asked for was spelt or if it was the regular whole wheat. Hopefully she gave me the right one this time.

Large assortment but also great unfriendliness!

I just ordered a banana cream puff and explicitly asked if it had been made this morning. Yes, certainly, I was told. The cream puff was at least a day old. The puff pastry had gone stale and even the banana inside had discolored. Shameful!

Not a pleasant atmosphere or friendly staff. They still have a lot to learn, but they are unfriendly and disinterested.

Yesterday I bought half a loaf of sunflower seed bread for €2. It wasn't good, even from the freezer. I usually buy my bread in Elderveld. It's always great there. That's why I could clearly taste the difference. Too bad.

The products are fantastic but the staff. I took a number of products on the left side, the first I had to take myself, the second I was not allowed to take myself. This lady did not pay, she referred me to her colleague a few steps around the corner. And so I stand there waiting for a while. How? Four people, 2 cash registers, 1 customer is helped by a lady who pays at the same time as this customer. And I wait politely. A minute or two later someone finally asks "are you being helped yet?" "I was referred by your colleague to pay here." I still get a look thrown at me, as if you can see that I am refilling, you are disturbing me. Incredible. I work in a store myself, but customer friendliness is hard to find here. It may also be better to communicate better with each other, for example by having the first colleague inform the second that payment needs to be made. It's just an idea.
