I used to buy snacks a few times per week for me and my partner, even though the service was not great. Last time I asked to warm it up and it seemed to upset the guy. I was told "you should have told me before I packed it up". Never buying anything there again. Real pity.

Incredibly delicious bakery, wonderful bread. The staff isn't always friendly or interested. It's a shame they don't offer vegan cakes, otherwise I would have given them five stars.

I think you're very nice, but the service is terrible. I once got a ham and cheese croissant instead of a regular cheese croissant, even though I'm not allowed to eat ham. They also use the same tongs for both products. Such a shame!

I ordered a pretzel and was then told it would be an almond croissant. Strange, but I was certainly curious about an almond croissant shaped like a pretzel. I paid and opened the bag at home to try it: a bone-dry pretzel. It's a real shame the staff doesn't seem to know what they're selling and is charging people for the wrong (more expensive) products.

I visited this place in April 2025 for breakfast and some orange tompouce. My order consisted of two croissants and a pack of tompouces, which I took home and had within the hour. The croissants were on a bit burned side but fine in content, size, texture, and taste for the price. In the store, I put them in a plastic bag before purchasing them, so the plate in the image is mine. Something that I *did* find to be a turn-off was that the receipt was put in the same bag with the croissants. Why this had to be that way is beyond me. I am happy to take the receipt separately and put it in my pocket. Tompouces were, eh, let me start from the color. They were not the typical Dutch orange, which I hoped to have. They were more like a dark-beige/kaka shade of orange; I think the image I shared shows it well. From the tompouce, the cream was good, but the rest was somehow bland and not pleasant to eat together, so I only had the cream. So far, that would have been a 2/5 experience. However, then I started having trouble with my stomach for the next 24 hours, and I hadn't eaten anything but these two before that started going. For a bakery, in my opinion, that is not okay. Hence 1/5 for this experience.

What lousy service. Total disinterest in everything. Wanted to order a cake and they just don't understand that if you do that for a (children's) birthday, success must be guaranteed. It turned out that the cake was not available in a large size, so we received a small one without notice. Are you going to explain it to our daughter. No, there wasn't even an apology. You really don't understand customer satisfaction and what it does for your company. Incredible.

Really bad service, ordered cake for specific day and was they did not know. The guy did not know anything and didnt even know the filling for the cakes I ended up buying. Even said at some point 'do you want the cakes or not?' i come here every week to buy bread on Saturday but I will now start buying on Saturday market.

I just asked the employee for a bacon biscuit. But he doesn't understand what spekkoek is (he only speaks English). His answer is also: you can get it yourself. Well... If I can reach it myself, I'm not going to ask. Later I saw them also sold at Vleeschmeester. Appearance also looks better. Better get there next time.

Started years ago in Ganzenhoef and Reigersbos. Yoen the best baker in Amsterdam. Much less now. Very unfortunate. Hopefully the real top quality will return. And also the Surinamese pasties!!

The staff is incredibly arrogant. Such a shame. I once wasn't helped when it was my turn because I was wearing earplugs. "Customers who call won't be served here," a somewhat older woman yelled. Excuse me? I wasn't even on the phone. I also once asked for two separate containers because I'd ordered quite a lot and wanted them wrapped separately to avoid crushing. "No, we always do it this way!" Terrible customer service! Please fix it!

The shop is beautiful, I have to give them that. However, the service is not good, the staff seems to be always in bad mood. And about the food, it's nothing special for the price you pay. Went there a few times to try different things and all of them disappointed me considering the high charges.
