Bakker Van den Berg in Wijk 00 Burgum

As a true Amsterdam city girl who hasn't eaten much Oranjekoek in her life, but who really loves spice cakes and spice pastries, I have to say that this is perhaps the best thing ever. This cake/cake is so fresh and so delicious. You can clearly taste the ingredients. Those aniseed pieces. Oh, oh, oh... I dreamed about it at night (no joke). And it is so fresh that I already noticed a slight difference the next day compared to the day of purchase. Still delicious, but you can just tell. That almond paste... that thin layer of icing... that fresh whipped cream... with that fruit on top too! If you ever end up here from another part of the country, please come and taste this here. To compare it to something. This Oranjekoek is just as good as the whipped cream ice cream and whipped cream cake from Van der Linde in Amsterdam Centrum.

Terrible seems to be getting worse by the week, order on Friday, you think I can take it easy on Saturday, you get your phone that the pastry is there, but your bread is not, this is not the first time, sometimes at Christmas, you don't order a baguette, you don't get anything in your number later, I don't know what they eat out of it, but that's a bad thing, I'm going to look for a new baker or responses or apologies might be appropriate, I always order enough for birthdays, Christmas, but if it has to be like that, I'll pass on Neeltje Jongboom

A very good bakery with incredibly tasty orange cake. Bread is also very good for normal price. And at the end of the day there is still bread available. We don't live in Burgum but we like to drive there.

Suikerbrood gekocht maar deze was echt niet vers.

De Sarah ziet er mooi uit, is bruin en niet roze, wel mooi opgespoten, maar valt qua smaak wel tegen. Van wat je voor de prijs en van een echte verse bakker mag verwachten. Ik heb wel mooiere Sarah's gezien en lekkerder geproefd. Kurkdroog.

Heerlijk gebak! Wij konden van te voren bellen en een taart bestellen voor in de vakantie om op te halen, ookal wonen wij 150 km verderop. Heerlijk en mooi versierd, de jarige was er erg blij mee!
