Very friendly staff. I was running late, but I was allowed in at 6:05 PM upon request to buy a delicious chocolate truffle schnitt. I always come back here.

During the holidays, I filled out an order form myself, intending to pick it up on December 24th. After completing this, I received incredibly friendly service from a young man (probably the manager). He helped me politely, repeated what I'd entered, and even though it was busy, he placed the order right in front of me. I picked up my order on the 24th and thoroughly enjoyed it over Christmas. A truly fantastic bakery in the center of Haarlem, Schalkwijk.

Unfortunately, on Christmas Day, there was no fresh bread, the buns were dry, the baguette wasn't sliced, and the croissants weren't included. I just managed to pick up some baguettes at the supermarket for tonight, because they looked like baseball bats. I ordered everything last week. It all went wrong when I picked it up; they thought we'd pick it up a day early, the 23rd, but it was for Christmas. So no, we were supposed to pick it up on the 24th. Very disappointed, and bad for a good bakery.

The most delicious hazelnut cake ever. I was at the store today and was told they no longer make it. What a huge disappointment. Such a shame.

A nice, clean shop with a decent selection, but the sausage rolls were disappointing; they lacked flavor, and the same goes for the hazelnut cake. Too bad, I expected and hoped for better.

Delicious bread, but what a mess behind the counter. Sealing boxes was more important than her customers.

I've never eaten such stale, dry currant buns; they taste like sweet and sour cardboard. I nearly choked on a bite because it stuck in my throat. Unacceptable!

Today I got a delicious spiced chicken thigh sandwich, along with a brownie latte macchiato with whipped cream. It was beautifully presented and tasted delicious! They also have very friendly staff! Definitely recommend a visit!

Good bakery in the newer part of the shopping center. Recently a nice to-go menu with well-filled sandwiches for a reasonable price. I regularly get lunch there, recommended! (A few months later) I can now say with certainty that the tastiest sandwiches in Haarlem can be found here. Very richly filled, fresh while you are standing there.

Always get my bread here. Whole grain. The oat crackers are definitely recommended. What must be paid attention to is the expiration date. I have often experienced that the crackers have expired, or will soon expire.

Daar brood en gebak altijd lekker zijn, wilde ik een keer de bakkerijtosti proberen. Wat deze precies inhield kon ik niet zien omdat er zakken met meel ervoor staan. Ten eerste heb ik nog nooit iemand zo langzaam 2 boterhammen zien smeren. Ten tweede waren de tostie' s een grote teleurstelling. Twee slappe boterhammen met een paar sliertjes sla, 2 uienringen en een ondefinieerbare saus en dat voor bijna €6.00

Heerlijke gebakjes gehaald daar. Mooi knus winkeltje en goede kwaliteit producten.

Echt ouderwets lekkere saucijzenbroodjes gekocht en speculaasstaaf. Heerlijk.
