Delicious bread and pastries. Last year they were busy bringing back nostalgia. Just like all branches of Bakkerij van Maanen, original sandwiches and pastries. The new staff is very nice!

What an incredibly unpleasant woman behind the counter. We order our sandwiches, stuff them in a bag and we're done. “We would like it warm, ma'am” then unpacks it, puts it in the oven, after 3 minutes she puts it back in the bag and puts it on the counter. No please, no goodbye, nothing at all. What a grumpy first class!

Normal service, carrot cake on the sweet side, a bit too compact. Not bad, doesn't stand out either. Good to do. My review only says something about buying 1x carrot cake. Perhaps after other products buy more stars. Arrived late in the day.

We made a short lunch stop in Oegstgeest on our way to the tulip route and found a nice little bakery in a small shopping center—pretty much the only spot around with seating for a bite to eat. The place is light, clean, and has a separate area where you can sit down and enjoy a tasty sandwich. Service was a bit slow but friendly. If you can’t resist cakes, cookies, and pastries, they have a tempting selection to choose from—perfect for a sweet treat before hitting the road. A pleasant stop if you’re looking for a quick bite at the start of the tulip route!

Lange Voort 2nWhile walking through the mall in Oegstgeest, I also saw this branch of "van Maanen." This store looks nice and well-maintained. Did I buy anything here? No, bread, etc., is somewhere near the bottom of my favorites list.

Rustenburgerpad 7Excellent bakery with free parking and customer seating. We enjoyed delicious pastries and fresh bread. They have coffee but not tea. The coffee was very good. The service was outstanding with a very friendly and helpful staff!! Highly recommend.
