We made a short lunch stop in Oegstgeest on our way to the tulip route and found a nice little bakery in a small shopping center—pretty much the only spot around with seating for a bite to eat. The place is light, clean, and has a separate area where you can sit down and enjoy a tasty sandwich. Service was a bit slow but friendly. If you can’t resist cakes, cookies, and pastries, they have a tempting selection to choose from—perfect for a sweet treat before hitting the road. A pleasant stop if you’re looking for a quick bite at the start of the tulip route!

The hygiene here is absolutely terrible. The staff is incredibly unfriendly, and the tables aren't cleared or cleaned. They just walk past, probably thinking there are gnomes around, leaving everything dirty on the tables. Even when they come by to take your order, they just leave it there. At one point, I went to them to ask if they could come clean and clean the table. The answer I got was, "It's very busy, and I'm already running my legs off, so I don't have time right now, don't you have time? You work in the hospitality industry, don't you?" It's just that I was sitting there with an older woman; otherwise, I would have left immediately.

Looked very cozy and neat, but service was very slow. Had to wait 25 minutes for 2 coffees and 2 pastries.

Bought a bag of egg cakes on October 4, I see a sticker at home with an expiration date of 2/10/2. Silly of me, because it has happened before. Going back is not an option because they act very nonchalant, oh it can't hurt. People pay attention when you buy something. Oh yes, the staff could be a bit friendlier.

Honest and fresh bread and pastries. I like to take my friends to the bakery cafe. Delicious coffee with treats. Staff is enthusiastic and helpful. In short, I am happy with this bakery.

My mother and I always receive a friendly welcome there. Great opportunity for lunch or a coffee/tea with something tasty.

Here you are not allowed to let your toddler pee just before closing time because the toilet has just been cleaned "and that is really not possible"

After 7 years, I gave the café another chance. Unfortunately, the service has not improved and prefers to chat with each other rather than serve a guest. Terrible acoustics too, making the sound of screaming children echo endlessly. Proof that pushing loaves of bread is something completely different from running a café and being of service. The fact that this place still exists shows the terrible food culture of this country.

When it was still Tijsterman, prices were lower, plus the (always full) lunchroom was open on Sundays. Now it is expensive plus closed on Sundays. No progress.

Friendly employees, delicious coffee and of course lots of tasty treats. Enough space to sit at a table with my father's large wheelchair.

Excellent bakery. Wide range. Outside of corona times, you can also sit here for a cup of coffee.

Today I was very shocked when one of the employees at the store in Oegstgeest was serving croissants from the display case without gloves. Unacceptable in these times!

Wasn't a fan of this "bakery". Went there for a cake again for a change. But unfortunately it turned out that the apple pie had been frozen. Even the supermarket sells fresh apple pie! Was the last time for me in this store.

Open until 5 p.m. on Saturdays and after 4 p.m. they no longer serve fresh sandwiches. Very strange. Not good service. Not customer friendly either.

Waited more than half an hour for a skere club sandwich! Apparently they were out of eggs and tomatoes. Shame!!
