The food was not bad, but I didn’t like how the manager is really rude to her staff.

The groceries are okay, but I really don't approve of the waitress's attitude behind the counter. I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and mother-in-law to have some cake, and she refused to let us sit because they were "closing in 50 minutes" and she wanted to start cleaning. "In 50 minutes" isn't now. So we can't sit down and eat cake because you want to go home early? If you're open until 5 p.m., you can't stop serving an hour early. That's truly subpar customer service.

This store has deteriorated enormously and won't survive this way. We went in today for some pastries. The staff were busy with themselves and hanging accessories. We bought two orange moorkoppen on April 30th. One was dried out, and we suspect it was from King's Day. The new store layout is not customer-friendly. It's incredibly cramped, and it's difficult to move through. There are many offers on products that are expiring. This store and its staff need improvement; otherwise, the bread and pastries at the supermarket are a better alternative. Such a shame. Come on, this is unworthy of Van Maanen! Far too expensive for far too little.

Grumpy woman behind the counter. Not customer friendly

The cake comes out of the freezer and is soaking wet, the saleswoman is completely uninterested and does nothing about the complaint, so it is not a nice place to stop for a cup of coffee.

Everything looks so delicious and delicious pastries! The ladies who work there are very friendly and helpful which is nice if you can't choose between all the goodies

Super tasty bread, I'm a fan of the handmade sourdough breads. Whole wheat from the mill is a real favorite.

Cold old lady at work. Couldn't get any friendliness. The crompouce was old, old croissant used? The one from Leiderdorp is better.

Brood altijd prima, de oliebollen vallen dit jaar vies tegen. Zijn beduidend beter geweest.

I come here on the regular for a coffee. Friendly staff happy to make my coffee just the way I like it. Nice place to relax or chat with a friend after school dropoff or before picking up groceries.
