I think I just ate one of the worst kapsalons I've ever had. Let's start with the good points: • I've often ordered Turkish pizzas or something from their bakery here, and have always been satisfied. • The staff/owners are friendly. Now, about that kapsalon: • It was covered in sauce. And not the old-fashioned garlic sauce. This was more like watered-down Remia salad sauce. And there was so much of it that I could barely taste the raw vegetables and meat. • Speaking of meat. I had veal, and you get a bunch of those plastic slices of junk. The texture is far from what you'd expect from meat. • I sat inside today because it was so windy. The tables and benches are covered in crumbs. I don't think it was that busy before lunch, but apparently, cleaning the tables isn't that important.

The table was sticky. It was wiped down with a soaking wet cloth. The tuna sandwich wasn't anything special, with little decoration, just pieces of bell pepper. Expensive for what you get.

The baklavas are really tasty and crispy, the cakes are delicious

Oliebollen and pudding rolls are really delicious!

3.75 for simple churros. 100% satisfied. I was in quite a hurry by ordering 5 minutes before departure, my mistake, but it was ready on time and Flixbus was, as always, 5 minutes later. So I was completely happy. If you want churros quickly at Zuidplein, definitely recommended! Nice people too, although there was a bit of that Rotterdam indifference. But hey, I want a snack while I wait, not a deep conversation about my life.
