Bakkerij Gillis/de Leijer - De Brabantse Bakkers in Waterhoef / Klompven

Bought something here a few times. Staff is definitely not friendly, the ladies do not radiate coziness, they are rather stiff and curt. The prices are ridiculous for the quality that is delivered; I bought white points here, to treat myself to Bakery bread, well... really never eaten such dry bread!! Simply scandalous and certainly incomprehensible. Were these old rolls or was this the standard quality, hope for all regular customers the first..! Not seeing me there again.

Friendly service, but in terms of quality it is a (major) disappointment for a bakery (especially for the prices they ask!).

Very nice saleswomen. Very good bread and rolls. Delicious pastries and very tasty farmer's sausage rolls.

No other customers in the store, the staff was busy with something else and didn't have time right away. When the phone rang, there was time for it and we still weren't helped.

Ordered via too good to go and could not pick up this order. It has happened to me before, but where at other bakeries I could pick it up the next day, that is not possible here. Little leniency and understanding from the staff. "Too bad then" was the outcome. Rigid and rigid. Too bad.

Been a customer for years because in my opinion the best sausage bread in the area. Had a bad experience recently. I buy a Christmas loaf for almost 14 euros and you would expect a nice piece of almond paste in it, but unfortunately I was quite disappointed by the tiny piece. I once compared it with other providers of Christmas stollen and they were more generously supplied. I asked in the store if it might be a mistake, but it turns out it really wasn't a mistake. For the price of almost 14 euros, I find this really disappointing
