Excellent service and tasty sandwiches

Sandwiches are not suitable for eating with cheese. Very dry and crumbly when freshly purchased. It can only be done with wet toppings and toasting. I would recommend this bakery to get Surinamese rolls from bakery Vos. This baker Vos is not even a specialist in Surinamese rolls, but he does bake them as it should be. The baras are very greasy and lack a circle in the middle, but taste reasonable. The roti plates are very yellow, not as I know it and very dry after a few days in the freezer. Only fresh, the roti is reasonable, but I have eaten better. The roti and bara from easy snacks are clearly at a higher level and truly Hindustani as it should be. Even after weeks in the freezer, these rotis remain tender and tasty in structure. Bakker Havenaar may be the biggest, but certainly not the best and could still use some learning from a master. For the same price, easy snacks provides better Bara and Rotis. The Surinamese sandwiches from Bakker Vos may cost 60 cents, almost twice as expensive as Bakker Havenaar, but they are worth it. A cheap, dry sandwich that isn't tasty is of no use to anyone.

Buns and roti plates are dry and crumbly. I lived in Suriname until I was 30, the original Surinamese rolls were malleable and of quite a weight. I see a lot of "Surinamese sandwiches" in the Netherlands but they do not meet the above requirements. Kind regards

Ik kon er zo terecht voor heerlijke verse rotiplaten en bara.s. en vriendelijk geholpen. Gelukkig dichter bij huis. Een echte aanrader kwam ervoor altijd bij de kruiskade.
