Bakkerij Jamama in Charlois

Yesterday I bought a cake at Jamama Bakery. Upon cutting it, it already looked very dry. Upon tasting it, we immediately noticed that the cream tasted sour and smelled strongly of spoiled milk/cream. It was definitely not fresh and therefore inedible. Unfortunately, I also got sick after eating it, which made the experience even worse. You expect fresh products and attention to food safety from a bakery, and that was clearly not the case here. This was a very disappointing experience for me, and I will never buy anything from them again.

I had a particularly disappointing experience in your store today. I had grabbed a frikadellenbroodje (fried sausage roll) from the shelf, but it turned out to be expired. This is not only sloppy, but can also pose a health risk. As if that wasn't enough, my payment was declined at the cash register because my 5-euro note had a small tear. It was legal tender that was still perfectly usable. The fact that it was simply refused feels unfriendly to customers. I expect you to pay more attention to the expiration dates of products and that your staff be more lenient with valid payment methods. Hopefully, something will be done about this. I am considering taking legal action.

Got a baguette from there today. Inedible. It was covered in black spots. Unbelievable, never going back there again.

It's a real shame, the bread is almost never fresh. They sell you bread from the day before and act like they don't know anything.

I stood in an empty store for more than 5 minutes when she came upstairs and she said, you're scaring me, why are you screaming. Seriously I shouted hello is anyone there. But instead of apologizing, she starts a very rude discussion. Very unfortunate, good staff is important.

Arme dame kan niet eens lachen lijk alsof zij taakstraf doet. 3 omdat de zaak schoon ziet. Geen turkse pizza te koop maar wel op de menukaart 🙃😬

Turkse pizza genomen, en die was totaal niet vers, volgens mij zelfs uit diepvries, met een gefaalde poging om het op te warmen in een oven. Nou goed, had honger dus met moeite weggewerkt. Komen we aan bij betalen, op menukaart staat €2,00 maar bij het betalen rekenen ze 2,50 en als je het aangeeft dan zegt ze doodleuk: "is van oude eigenaar"
