Today I got two pastries at Bakery Kaandorp, a Moorkop and a Kasteeltje. When I came home with it, it was really a moorkopje and a small castle... the pastries have become much smaller and the prices are proportionately higher. Paid 10 for the two small pastries and a sausage roll!!!! Euro!!! How sad is this?!

We wanted to order a cake for our son, who was turning 1, to pick up later this week. We did the same at Kaandorp bakery for our oldest son. It took maybe 5-10 minutes to pick out a cake from a folder, choose the filling, and pay. Now we wanted to do the same thing: send the same cake and the photo by email. We arrived at 4:50 PM. We explained what we wanted, but the lady said she couldn't help us anymore because she was closing in 10 minutes and we could come back the next day. I remarked, "You're not going to turn customers away 10 minutes before closing, are you?" I work in an environment where customer service and friendliness are paramount. You can't refuse to help customers 10 minutes before closing. You're open, you're helping customers, and you're not going to turn people away when the store was otherwise empty, and we were willing, just like two years ago, to spend €75-€80 on a cake. We now prefer to order elsewhere.

What awful bread! Supermarket bread is fresher and tastier. Casino white, you have to cut the crusts with a steak knife otherwise you can't get through them.

Croissant is very delicious but many times not available. It’s so popular so that you should buy it in the morning, otherwise sold out quickly.

Would love to give a higher rate, but these days there are much better bakeries. It's outdated

Delicious bread. Super fresh. We love going here. The currant buns and cookies are also delicious. This is a great bakery for us!

The cakes are divine! The hazelnut meringue or mocha meringue cake, the orange cheesecake, and the fresh apple cheesecake, for example, are truly excellent!

People are super sweet. Fine whole wheat sesame is great. And luckily the buns are lactose-free so my daughters can enjoy them too. In short, a great one.

Nice lady but an outdated business model for a bakery in 2022 in a highly diverse area. Nothing plant based whatsoever here, only bread and dairy products.

Fantastische producten! Gisteren op Koningsdag, héérlijke tompouces en diverse hartige snacks gekocht. Klasse!

26 april: Buiten een groot bord Oranje tompoucen 3 + 1 gratis. Binnen als antwoord: nee dat is morgen op Koningsdag!! Dit stond nergens vermeld. Het is dat ik de vriendelijke winkeldame, die al meer commentaar had gehad, niet wilde dwarszitten, maar dit is pure oplichterij. Theoretisch had ik de aanbieding gewoon moeten krijgen. Slechte manier van klantenbinding. Voor mij geen Kaandorp meer. Brood en gebak kan je overal kopen nietwaar. Jumbo heeft prima kwaliteit.

Totaal niet bijzonder voor een (af)bakker. Het personeel is wel vriendelijk. Producten proeven totaal niet vers.
