Bakkerij Neplenbroek in Wijk 05 Oost

What a rubbish bakery! It is a disgrace to even go around selling it as a "bakery." They put supermarket junk in a bakery. That's all it is. Dry and tough food. From the pastries to the rolls. What a disgrace. You can find fresher food at Jumbo. Never again!

This morning I wanted to get a sandwich, but they weren't making them anymore. Okay, I respect that. I thought, then I'll take a panini; it was one with cheese and ham. It cost 5.90 euros. When I got home, I took the sandwich out to warm it up. The ends were totally hard and dried out, so anything but fresh (!!!!) and the filling was as meager as can be; there were lots of gaps in between...🫪 I find this absolutely outrageous; for *that* money, you really should expect more!!! NEVER AGAIN to Neplenbroek!!

I bought a baguette here this morning for €3.60. At a bakery, and certainly at this price, I expect the baguette to have been freshly baked this morning. Unfortunately, when I cut it open, there was mold inside. Very disappointing.

Bread tastes worse than jumbo bread. Would love to be a customer here but the quality is just too low.

A very strange experience here. I wanted to buy pastries, but I wasn't allowed to choose some because they were "not good," even though they had just been freshly placed. When I asked what the filling was in a pastry, I got vague answers as if they didn't want to help.

Had a delicious healthy sandwich

Bought 4 pastries yesterday, they were all old. I don't understand why they are still allowed to sell them. Just business.

Beautiful shop, friendly ladies and also time for a chat.

Good Too Good To Go, tasty bread and a diverse range. Excellent bakery.

Got some nice coffee today. Friendly staff. There are a number of soulless people in the store without a hood.

Canceling a Too Good to Go box 10 minutes before you can pick it up will result in you standing in the store and being sent out empty-handed. The store had also been open for over 2 hours. Opening time 08:00, pick-up time 10:00-14:00 and cancellation time 09:47. Box was already purchased a day in advance.

It is a very unfriendly bakery, everytime my boyfriend and I enter no one greets us and the help is very much non-existent. The bread is ok, but I would expect more for the price. I prefer the jumbo bread for half the price but eventually the same Taste!!!

What delicious bread and pastries they have here....and you get a free smile with it!

Cozy bakery with delicious bread.

Sandwich was delicious, but baking time took quite a long time.

I often get the 'too good to go' box here. It is always very good. The lady is always very friendly!

Nice staff and the extensive range is excellent.

Always very tasty, but that should also be the case for the price...

Neplenbroek is a household name for Utrecht residents, delicious bread and pastries. Croissants are also very tasty

In addition to the delicious bread, plus points because of the free currant buns always offered to the children.
