Beautiful bakery! They have a wide selection. It's nicely laid out. The staff is incredibly unfriendly. They can't even crack a smile. I honestly don't understand why they work there if they hate helping customers so much.

Rude behavior. Cashier let three customers go first while I was waiting with my wife. One customer looked at me like I did something wrong. Later I complained, wanted to talk to cashier, but she ignored me while her boss took over. Boss made excuse that it was busy (it was not) cashier saw us, but did not get involved (not by her own initiative or her boss'). I just hope this does not have to do with the fact that my wife was not born here. We were regular customers.

Nice little bakery, a place to sit and have a coffee and/or something to eat. They brought the coffee to our table, which was nice.

We bought a large surprise bag from toogoodtogo and there was ONLY bread. NOT recommended

As a regular customer who comes here for an ice cream every day, I was very disappointed by an employee with a crooked face.

Usually good bakery, but the 'Italian roll' was a mockery: small roll, slice of cheese, slice of salami. That's it. Oh yes, 4.50. And say beforehand that there was a pepper on it, that's not the case. I'll cycle to the Janskerkhof or the Oudegracht, except for the pumpkin seed bread, which is sublime here.

You shouldn't come here for apple turnovers. They can't bake them at all. We had 20 on New Year's Eve. All extremely greasy, some partly fried black, making you feel nauseous. He calls himself a baker. Luckily we got the oliebollen somewhere else.

I come here often. The bakery is inviting and the range is wide! It's not cheap, but I'm very pleased with the quality. Yet it strikes me when the employees are not having their day, that they also do their utmost to ruin your day. This means they lose a star in my rating.

Friendly welcome. Bread looks delicious and it was. Tasty croissant and cheese croissant, excellent tiger buns. I couldn't stop myself from taking some pastries with me because they also looked very tasty. The case is beautiful and spacious and makes a very neat impression. When the weather is nice you can enjoy coffee and something tasty outside.

Pastries 20-30% smaller than those of colleagues (fresh pastry chefs), but 20-30% more expensive. Perhaps give it a try with your colleagues. I bought pastries here a few times, but unfortunately the results remain of poor quality.

They have really delicious pastries and the tastiest sausage rolls. I only saw the saleswoman helping a customer, taking the cake with her bare hands (without gloves). The strawberries fell off and she picked them up with her fingers and put them back on the cake. That made me a little nauseous...

I wasn't there until after a quarter to 6 today, but even then I was helped super friendly and cheerfully by the 2 employees, nice!

You should just leave sausage rolls in Brabant if you can't make them yourself, you can't eat them there. A whole tsunami of African spices, it now feels like I'll taste it next week.

The quality of the croissants varies greatly. Sometimes not well done, sometimes just burnt. The sandwiches were also a bit disappointing. The coffee is also not always brewed properly. It's a shame, if there was a lot of focus on quality we would go there more often.

Sells out of bread really early, and the staff do not have the ability to advise on alternatives because they have no knowledge, I also have serious doubts about the quality of the bread, it's definitely not better than supermarket bread but it is more expensive. I do not recommend this place.

I continue to wonder about the grumpy employees. When my son once asked for a currant roll at the cash register, he was resented. When, after ordering 4 loaves of bread, I bought a cup of coffee and a croissant to eat in the shop, I asked for a small glass of water for my son. That really wasn't possible. I could buy a bottle of water. Really ridiculous and reason for me to never come again. Such a pity!

Unfortunately, the staff can still learn something in terms of customer friendliness. That has been the case for years. Packing your bread when you ask for a bag is also too much to ask... you can do that yourself. And saying hello is not always part of the service. It's a shame that they really underperform in that area. Bread is fine, but on the expensive side!

Brown bread becomes stale after 1 day, currant buns are fine. Consider the costs involved in setting up a shop rather than the craft of baking delicious bread.

I've visited this bakery a number of times over the years since it's the only one in my neighborhood. Each time I have had terribly bad bread and had to deal with extraordinarily rude, cranky staff. I returned recently after the big remodeling was done -- and the space is now quite lovely and inviting... But the terribly rude service shocked both me and my family such that I will never return. It's such a shame that there isn't another bakery or large cafe in the neighborhood. How hard is it to respect your customers?

Coffee is good. But at 11:15 am. no piece of apple pie with your coffee? For the rest, large tables with plenty of chairs. Tables are dirty and not wiped and the chairs are full of crumbs. Tables and chairs are also far too close together. Layout of this store is very awkward. Checkout girl just stands there staring into space.

Mediocre, over-priced sandwiches and poor service. The sandwiches are not freshly filled, and the bread is therefore much too dry and tough for the price they ask for it (€4.00). You can sit comfortably there, but otherwise you are better off at the average gas station.

The sandwiches were very disappointing one afternoon. The sandwiches were tough, little toppings and no longer fresh. The employees were also not friendly.

Top bakery with top artisanal and sustainable products.

I always like to get my bread from bakeries throughout the country (I'm in sales so I go everywhere and nowhere). This bakery looked warm on the inside and it smelled wonderful. Not very inviting outside, but that is also because almost the entire toilet has been turned upside down due to renovations. I was very disappointed that the brown bread in particular (after I froze it as soon as I got home) was very dry and firm when I defrosted it for use. Not actually edible.

I'm not very quick with reviews, but I still wanted to pass this along. I entered the store and couldn't even say a 'hello'. The ladies were too busy chatting about the hairdresser. I ordered a sausage roll and it was heated up. Furthermore, no friendliness or anything at all, but immediately busy with each other. When my sandwich was warm, she put it in a bag and I took the sandwich with me. When I get home the entire sandwich is burnt... Very unfortunate.

Beautiful bakery with always good/delicious homemade bread. Banquet is not from the bakery itself but from Tamminga bakery. The staff is friendly and helpful. Bakery is now being renovated and is smaller than normal. Will be larger in time with perhaps a larger range. They are not cheap but the quality is good.

Tasty pastries but bad service. My mother ordered and paid for pastries, and when they were picked up they were not available and she had to pay extra for more expensive ones. This while she simply ordered and paid in advance. "You should have picked it up before 1 p.m." What do you mean, they've already been paid? And it was also not mentioned about picking up before 1 p.m., about which the staff started a whole discussion, with the ending being "it has been said, I should know, I am the boss here". Where has customer service gone? Customer is king? In the end she was given the more expensive pastries after all, saying "Then give her those!". What kindness...
