Bakkerij van de kletersteeg in Wijk 29 Vathorst-centrum

I went yesterday and was helped by two very friendly and helpful ladies. The employee took all the time to beautifully wrap a box. The store is also well-maintained and the products are of good quality.

The pastries aren't particularly special and are very sweet. Of course, tastes vary. If you're looking for a shop/bakery with grumpy staff, you've come to the right place. Our two-year-old daughter was sitting at the pastry display (her hands can't even reach above the display) and was immediately told, "Don't put your hands in there!" That could have been a bit friendlier, of course.

Today I had an unpleasant experience at this bakery. When I asked an employee for the price of a product, she didn't give it to me right away. Instead, she spoke to me in an unfriendly tone, saying she thought it was "not nice" that I was talking on my phone through the store. I wasn't at the cash register and only asked a simple question about the price. She then quoted a price, but it turned out to be incorrect at the register. When I pointed this out, she suddenly denied having quoted the price and claimed to have said something different. All of this was audible to other customers, which made the situation even more awkward. I felt really taken aback. I hope that in the future, they will treat customers more professionally and customer-friendly.

Very unfriendly, and you'll read and hear in Vathorst that we're not the only ones who feel this way. Friendliness costs nothing, but shopping here does. They almost always charge the wrong (higher) price. We won't be coming back.

I've lived in Vathorst for over two years now and avoid this bakery as much as possible. I tried again this morning. The staff in the shop are rude and mostly always busy on the phone. They're also very unfriendly to children and downright rude. Today was definitely the last time.

After a good eighteen months or two years, we decided to give this bakery another try. Unfortunately, we noticed immediately upon entering that little had changed. From a bakery in a neighborhood like this, we expect friendliness and a warm welcome. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. It's a shame that there hasn't been any improvement after all this time.

Nice baker, but sometimes a bit strange. You can save Piggy points here. The white and brown bulbs are on sale on Friday. Today I bought 2 bags of bulbs and asked for the points. The lady says “that does not apply to promotional products”. In my experience, I'm just spending money and I should get points for it, regardless of whether it's an offer or not. I don't understand.

Lovely bread, cakes and snacks. The dark ceiling and floor make it look trendy but it also often looks like they are closed. Friendly welcomming staff makes up for it. Buying my daily bread here.

Good products, excellent service, and they really think along with you about the possibilities for a large order. I highly recommend this bakery.

They have nice products, but when it comes to customer service, they certainly don't win any beauty prizes.

First heard of and came into contact with this baker via an app (2g2g). And wow, even the leftover bread tastes much better than supermarket bread!!

Nice help. And asked about special dietary requirements. Which turned out to be no problem. Thanks for your time and advice. Experienced as very helpful and pleasant.

Chagrijnige takketeef.. (brood is wel lekker)

Slechte service voor een pakket punt, deze is open van 9.00 tot 17.00. Niet erg handig voor mensen die werken. Helaas.

We kopen hier al jaren ons volkorenbrood en soms een traktatie. Altijd uitstekende kwaliteit en service.

Super goede service, tevens met de pakketservice!

Gezellig personeel en heel behulpzaam, ruime keuze aan brood/taart/klein gebak/hartige snacks. Erg lekker ook! Pakketjes afleveren gaat vlekkeloos.

Apparently nothing has changed with the DPD point since previous reviews: it remains extremely customer unfriendly delivery point. The staff always makes you wait even if they have no other customers and the communication is downright rude, regardless if approached in Dutch or English. 2 stars only because it's open until 18h. Never tried their cakes as all experience with them left me so annoyed that I couldn't wait to get out of the shop. Als u zo'n hekel aan pakketjes en mensen hebben, waarom blijft u een DPD-punt/winkel met dagelijks contact met klanten?

Van €2,80 naar €3,30 voor een brood, is absurd. Lekkere bakker wel, maar voor deze prijzen slaan wij helaas over.

Het personeel is niet erg vriendelijk. Met het ophalen van het pakketje werd ik weer naar huis gestuurd. 1 dame kijkt altijd alsof ze net een citroen heeft gegeten. Het brood is wel lekker, daarom kom ik er nog wel eens, maar de mensen bij Proof of van ‘t Stoepje zijn bijvoorbeeld een stuk vriendelijker en het is daarom aantrekkelijker om daar heen te gaan. Jammer want als dit verbeterd zou worden, zou het er veel leuker zijn en zou ik er vaker komen.

Om 12:15 zijn alle broodjes al op, beetje gek voor een bakkerij. Verder vriendelijk personeel. De AH aan de overkant heeft meer aanbod.

I had good experience. Friendly staff! And We enjoyed the apple pie and fruit yogurt cake!

Goede kwaliteit, niet altijd even aardig personeel.Erg jammer, zorgt ervoor dat je niet meer terugkomt.

Het brood heeft een andere smaak als brood wat van een echte warme bakker komt. Dat zijn ook andere machines. Maar dat beseft u wel, toch?

Goede kwaliteit en vriendelijk personeel. Aanrader.
