There was a tiny little boy standing alone in the shop today on a very busy Saturday. He tried his very best, but that is just not okay. The cheese sticks at €2.85 each were burnt black when I got home. Also, people were touching the bread or helping themselves. The little boy can't help himself to this, but there needs to be someone who dares to say something to the customers about it. Update: you don't need to come here for the boule grains anymore either. New recipe, so from crispy on the outside with a soft inside to a flat brick 🤢.

Bread, e.g. boule graines, costs 4.50 and is often not fresh or soft on the inside.

Since we live very close by, I'd love to get my bread here. However, I'd stopped going because everything sells out very early. This week I gave it another try. Sausage rolls sold out at 11:00 on a weekday, and today, Sunday, at 11:00, there were no croissants left. There were nothing left at all. So I could still drive to v Maanen. Unfortunately, I won't be going here after all. For some strange reason, I can't leave a review for this place anymore. I just bought two snack sticks for €5.30!!!! and the picture shows what I got for that absurd price 😂! Two limp dough worms stuck together. They should be ashamed of themselves. Besides, there's only one girl and a whole lot of customers outside.

There were two girls in the store today. I thought I could grab some small rolls myself; it's not behind a counter or anything, so I assumed it was self-service. The blondest woman said that wasn't the intention and said she'd help me in a minute, after which she continued moving rolls and cleaning shelves. After a fairly long wait, we were finally helped by the other employee. That's not a problem in itself, but it came across as very unfriendly. I don't understand why someone says they're going to "help like this" if they don't intend to at all.

I often get delicious bread there. But I just bought a lemon meringue pie for 17 euros. It turned out to be a cake with meringue on top. The price often makes me feel cheated.

A great baker, delicious bread, large assortment. Highly recommended.
