Bakkerij Versluis in Wijk 03 Woerden-Oost

Much of it comes from the freezer. Bread is so stale after a day that you can throw it away. The store is awkwardly laid out, and the staff could be a bit friendlier in some cases. Reading the reviews, this bakery seems a bygone era. It used to be good, but these days even the supermarket bakery is better.

Strawberry shells are recommended

At Versluis they really know how to make banana puffs.

The quality is fine, but if you order something, it is often not available at the time you specified.

I placed an online order, but when I picked it up, it turned out to be in the other store. I was supposed to pick it up there myself, without any compensation for their mistake. Such a shame.

bought sausage rolls but these seemed to have already been there. Unfortunately they were dried out rolls.

Fortunately, often enough a reasonably good Bakery. Pastries are quite standard but really good and tasty. Nice range of bread but no really special types of bread available. Unfortunately, in case of complaints, such as old buns or dry crumpets, these are only accepted for information. You should not expect any voluntary compensation or apology. You kind of have to beg for that. They will not simply offer a product to ease the suffering. Recently I also saw that bread that had not risen optimally becomes a simple matter of selling it to customers, without a price reduction. I don't think that's a choice. So unfortunately this Bakker is sometimes good and other times very mediocre to bad. So now from 4 to 3 stars, which is a shame.

What a great baker! (Delicious) fresh products, beautifully displayed. Pleasure for the eyes and the stomach. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee here with something tasty🍰. Nice staff. I'm happy to pay a little more for extra craftsmanship and quality.

One of the better bakeries in Woerden, for bread, cake, pastries, chocolates, etc. d. The quality is good, but you also pay for it. Please note, this is not to say that they are expensive. It is okay to pay for good quality.

Ordered 2 cakes here for a birthday party. A marzipan cake and a whipped cream cake. The website said the cakes were for 25 people, but you could get more pieces. The cream cake was not used up and it was still tasty 2 days later.

As far as I'm concerned, the best baker in Woerden and the surrounding area. The moor heads and croissants are particularly tasty here. Staff also very nice!

We ordered breakfast from Bakery Versluis in Woerden for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Called twice to ask if everything had gone through correctly, response: "everything will be done". I also checked the day before to be sure, at eight o'clock in the morning the bridal couple would be surprised with breakfast. The next morning... nothing... called... Sorry, I put the paper on the wrong day. No further apologies, nothing, a week later we had our money refunded, but they were not yet prepared to give us a pretzel as atonement. Too bad Versluis.
