Friendly staff and delicious desserts

The cake itself tasted great if you have a sweet tooth. The cake's appearance is another matter. It looks a bit like it was made in the dark. Otherwise, it was fine.

It's great that the seats have been changed so that you sit low, it also looks more cozy and is also better for the elderly among us.

Bought a Berlinerbol there the day before yesterday, they should be ashamed to call it that, it's just an old roll with powdered sugar on it, you have to look for the filling

Nice people behind the counter and for the service and very tasty food. My girlfriend had forgotten her phone at the table and they still had it after a few hours :)

Absolutely terrible. I waited ten minutes in line to get a milkshake AFTER they said they would, but the employees prioritized the people who came after us, and in the end, all we got was a milkshake of depression. As I said, absolutely terrible.

By far the best bakery, the bienenstiek is simply delicious, plus the friendly staff in their branch, in the Brussels Gate

Cosy coffee shop in the Brusselse poort centre where you can have a nice coffee with some cake or sweets. The lady at the desk is adorable and greets you with a smile. The coffee tastes amazing and the donuts were really good! I recommend the bakery to everyone who has the time to go there.

Two weeks ago I ordered her birthday cake especially for my sister from Voncken bakery. I've heard good stories about Voncken bakery. I picked up a birthday cake from Voncken bakery on September 6. To my surprise it wasn't birthday cake that I ordered. It was more of a pudding cake than a birthday cake should be. I indicated two weeks ago when the order was taken that the filling is with chocolate and cherries. There were cherries in the cake, but no chocolate. It's very disappointing. I think this is a very bad thing, very shameful for the price you are asking for, €74.40.

I bought bread but when I opened the bag at home I saw that half of all the slices were torn inside. So I couldn't use exactly half a loaf. Too bad, at that price.

Bought plum pie today. It was a thin pie base with plums on it. No pudding in between. I would be ashamed to serve this to my guests and I had to pay 15.95 euros for it. I think they really forgot the pudding in the bakery. And if this is the case, I think the price is scandalously high. I had heard good things about this bakery but this was a big disappointment. A real shame

Great bakery, New in the Brusselsepoort shopping center, finally real bread for sale, wide range of ys 🍦, pastries 🍰 and cake 🎂 and a nice cup of coffee ☕ to enjoy, Chapeau and good luck.

The ice coffee they did coffee 2 scoops of ice cream and whipped cream and that was it and it is ridiculously expensive

Shame! At 5.51 pm they are no longer helped here. We were waiting to buy the baguettes that were literally taken away before our eyes. But none of the 3 saleswomen saw us! When we thought this was really bizarre, I asked who the manager was to get an answer as to why we were not being helped and the shelves were being emptied in front of us. Her response was that the store closes at 6 p.m. It would be better to post on the door that this store closes at 5:50 PM, after which you are no longer welcome. In any case, the baguettes went back to the warehouse. Not good for business. These saleswomen may work for free, but their employer will not approve of this except that it is very customer unfriendly. Was so happy that there is a bakery in the Brussels gate again. But this first meeting was anything but pleasant.

Another nice Voncken store in Maastricht! I once went lurking in the Brussels Gate. What a beautiful interior, to be jealous of! Maastricht center remains my regular store because of its location.
