Delicious sandwiches and very nice and friendly saleswomen. The atmosphere has deteriorated considerably since we heard this place is closing.

When I was in the store, they had just delivered everything fresh. The only thing I didn't like was that the pastries were left uncovered in the crates. So you never know what happened to them in transit. I didn't find that very appetizing. Because the pastries aren't exactly cheap at Voncken, they just have to put them in the crates uncovered. So, maybe Voncken Bakery would recommend putting the pastries in boxes when they're going to the bakery/store for sale.

Delicious bread, delicious pie,..

I went to this bakery at 9 in the morning. The lady was nice and helpful. I bought 2 pain au chocolat and a sourdough baguette, which came to a total of 6,50€. To my surprise (considering the high price) both “pains au chocolat” were stale and filled with chocolate as well as a strange sugar filling which wasn’t pleasant. The taste was awful and off putting. The sourdough bread was stale as well and stretchy. This is simply unacceptable for 6.5€ and at 9 in the morning. I’d love an explanation as to why none of the overpriced products are fresh (and not a generic answer saying they want to do better and then never do…)

Good food, little choice, unfriendly staff

We live in the west of the country. You can't drive home without a delicious pie, and that was it.

Very neat. I like coming there. Brought delicious bread, pastries and a box of Valentine's Day chocolates. But whatever you bring... always good. The new cake with cinnamon is delicious, but Voncken's one and only Tompouce is perfect.

I don't know how to explain.. but this cake was a huge disappointment! It's obviously old and low quality.. was supposed to be my birthday cake, and nobody could eat it! Was our first and last purchase

in Vaals Voncken was a fiasco this store in Maastricht is so different friendly saleswoman this morning half past eight wide range of pastries and flan I bought two cottage cheese pastries that were wonderfully fresh with a tasty base and fresh fruit on top ( my favourite ) for the second time here bought low-carb bread and honestly, I have tried a lot of them but this is still my favorite in short this shop ! recommended

Absolutely horrible croissants, even at the beginning of the day already all dry and stale

The shop-assistant takes croissants and bakery with her bare hands, not using gloves or tongs. Very unpleasant and not hygienic!

We went to Maastricht for a few days and walked past this bakery and got delicious waffles. On the day we went home, we first went back to the bakery to get more of those delicious waffles to take home.

Good trip pastry chef from Heerlen. The nuns' dishes were delicious.

Too bad the people in this store are not as friendly as in the other bakeries in Voncken... Could it have something to do with Maastricht vs Mijnstreek? Don't go here with pleasure. But Voncken's rice pie is a favorite in our household!

I accidentally ordered a Magic Box at this location instead of De Beente via the Too good to go app and I only found out when I could no longer collect the Box before closing. Employee Claudia dropped it by on her way home! Thank you very much 😀 Excellent products, excellent service!
