After waiting half an hour for two healthy sandwiches, I decided to leave. The employee also scolded me.

Freshly made, large sandwiches, small area to eat outside, very nice experience!

Today I visited Witte Vrouwenveld and decided to have a sandwich at Bakkerij Paulissen. What a pleasant surprise! Not only was the sandwich delicious — fresh, tasty and prepared with care — but the warm hospitality was also immediately noticeable. You feel welcome from the first moment. Are you in the area? Delicious bread and a wide selection, and the pies are also delicious. The sandwiches aren't cheap, but they're well-filled. The opening days and hours are also very generous for a bakery. Personally, I find it a shame—or rather, I'm just complaining—that you can't have your rice pie topped with whipped cream in the store—it kind of lacks the artisanal touch.

Flan with corona. The pie of the day is open and exposed on the counter. If you ask for another one you will be looked at strangely. But let's take a look at the other Paulissen

Normally good sandwiches but today something was missing.. no onions, super stingy with the sauce. Plus on the plate all sandwiches were €4.5, but it was more expensive and everything was missing

Sandwiches were generously filled, just a pity that the cappucino was a bit weak. Could have been a coincidence.

Friendly staff and lovely bread... bit more pricey than the supermarket, but who cares when the quality is so much better. Support local business like your local butcher and baker!

Healthy options for a good day starting!

Today my mother (86) came into the shop because she had won two vouchers. My mother greeted, but no response from the employee (too busy with the cash register?). Then treated rather sullenly and unfriendly (exchanging a few friendly sentences in an otherwise empty place is apparently no longer an option these days...). And to top it all off, an insanely high bill. What a mockery!

The sandwiches taste just as good as the dialect ;)
