The place is very friendly and beautifully decorated, ideal for a pleasant breakfast. Although the prices are a little high, it's definitely worth it: the bread and pastries are absolutely delicious, as are the other brunch-style dishes we tried. The drinks were also very good. We highly recommend this establishment, although a few more smiles and friendliness from the waitresses would have made the experience even more enjoyable.

Incredible cafe/restaurant with decent prices but a high class experience. The shakshuka is one of the best things ive ever eaten, I don't know what they did to their tomatoes but they had such amazing flavours

We stumbled upon Bakkerij Wolf while wandering the streets of Amsterdam, completely exhausted and what a lucky find it was! We ordered the shakshuka and absolutely loved it. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced. The only downside was the service. We had to wait quite a while for the staff to bring us the menu, and then again to place our order. Other than that, the atmosphere was cozy and stylish. Definitely worth a visit!

Their mortadella focaccia sandwich is one of the best I ever had. Not to mention they have a lot of yummy pastry and espresso drinks! Lots of indoor seats available

I didn't like the iced latte; I don't like the strong bitterness. But the flat white is delicious. In general, their baked goods are delicious, the sour cream and focaccia are 100%. If you want baked goods and desserts, come early before they run out. The place is a reasonable size, and their service is great.

Usually crowded but amazing place right in the heart of Amsterdam. I recommend taking the second cashier to the left from the entrance if you want just a coffee for a takeaway. They are usually much quicker and the coffee is the same. INSANE croissant btw

Truly an incredible pastry place. Their croissant dough is exactly what you’d hope for: crisp, yet so buttery and moist. Their cruffins and cinnamon rolls are to die for. I had breakfast at the restaurant on a different day and that was also incredible. It’s a quality place.

If I had known the water would be 6 euros I would not have ordered it, this information should have been given. I did not even drink the water. Şakşuka is ordinary. It is very crowded, it is impossible to get in without waiting in line. I cannot believe I paid 6 euros for tap water that I did not drink.

One of the best places for breakfast in Amsterdam. The bread is exquisite. The shakshuka eggs are delicious, and the Dutch breakfast is my favorite, with the super-fresh jam.

Great spot, it’s a bakery and resto. They have great breakfast and lunch options. Since they bake their own breads, croissants, etc they are delicious. We went twice in 3 days. Staff is nice and it can get “busier” but we never had to wait longer than a few minutes for a table.

I had the smoked mackerel sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! They are busy during the lunch hour, might need to wait for about 10-15mins, but totally worth it!

This is the place to be for breakfast when you’re in Amsterdam, excellent service ,warm and responsive staff, and the breakfast dishes, they have our total win, we had shakshuka for four mornings while we were in Amsterdam,and the the other omelette dish with sourdough,the perfect egg ever. And also, they have a very good Patisserie if you want some freshly baked breads,croissants etc.

Terrible customer service... or maybe there's discrimination... We arrived and waited over 20 minutes, and our order wasn't taken, but as soon as two more couples arrived, they were served immediately. I don't recommend visiting this place.

Delicious brunch spot which is also partly a standalone bakery if you wanted some baked goods to go. Went here with family and we got the wolf plateau and the shakshuka - both were amazing and we still can't stop thinking about the bread they served. Would definitely come back again if I'm ever in Amsterdam.

Sadly half of the the brioche buns i bought here were completely raw inside... Girl who helped me was loud and rude.

It might be good for breakfast, but I haven't tried it. Unfortunately, the coffee and croissants were of poor quality.

Grabbed a focaccia sandwich to go with mortadella and burrata. Was delicious. Nice portion, excellent flavors. The croissant was also amazing, baked perfectly abs had a sourdough consistency. Recommend you try it.

We had breakfast here and really enjoyed the food — the omelette on sourdough and the shakshuka were both tasty and nicely presented. The coffee was just average, but the overall experience was good. Staff were friendly, and the waiting time wasn’t too long. A cozy spot worth visiting for breakfast and brunch.

The food is so good, the sauce tastes so good that you start thinking about what you eat. The service is good, but the place lacks the atmosphere unfortunately, it feels bare. But nice and clean toilet though.

We ordered omelet with sourdough, croissant and cinnamon bun. The food was avarrage and the taste was not so special the cinnamon bun was old and not fresh the layer was too dense even the croissant not so special

Great sandwiches (they make them from their iwn bread), hearty portions (except for burrata salad, it was quite small), fancy interior - love that:) My favorite dishes are pulled chicken sandwich and shakshuka Waiters might be sometimes not the most friendly, but it’s fine

Delicious bakery and brunch place - we visited twice in one week!

Enjoyed a fantastic lunch here today. I had the open aubergine and tahini sandwich, and my friend had the cheese, garlic and leek toastie. Both were absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place for a lovely lunch.

Ordered spicy chicken sandwich, it had absolutely no taste. The bread was rubbery and the chicken cold. The staff is nice but for the price of 12,5€ i was expecting more

Small, perfect to grab to go or possible to dine in the restaurant right next door. Really good bread, super soft and flavourful sandwiches. Haven't tried the sweet stuff yet, but deffinetely coming back!

It was incredibly tasty and the food came quickly after we ordered it. It's quite busy and sometimes you have to wait outside a bit, but it's worth it. In addition, the prices are very fair

Bakkerij Wolf is a great spot for a healthy breakfast in Amsterdam. They offer a lovely selection of dishes featuring their freshly baked sourdough bread and buttery croissants. The omelette is especially delicious—light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The café and the bakery shop are right next to each other, so after breakfast, you can grab something to take home. Their sourdough bread is fantastic—definitely worth picking up! I haven’t tried the pastries yet, but they looked amazing. Even though the café was full, I didn’t have to wait for a table—even on a Saturday morning, which was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend for a cozy and satisfying start to your day!

We had the omelet but it literally tasted like nothing. The bread it was on was way too thick and for some reason my late looked like just a cappuccino. The people are nice tho but the place feels insanely overhyped. Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing.

While walking through this area of ​​Amsterdam we came across this small place that caught our attention. They have a not very extensive menu but quite complete and although the portions are not very large the food was good. When there is a lot of people you have to wait a bit but the staff finds a place quickly.

We took the omelet and it was delicious and light. We took the eggplant and the mixture was delicate and salty. Its quantity was large enough for approximately two people. The matcha is excellent - the coffee is very ordinary They have a breakfast and lunch menu, so pay attention to the time because we couldn't find anything on the lunch menu - or take it from the bakery. Wolf used to be one of my favorite brunch spots in Amsterdam. Especially the little dine-in café menu—it was always so savory and tasty. But not anymore. I ordered the pulled chicken today, and honestly, it was barely edible. There was still a strong, unpleasant chicken smell, though the chipotle sauce did its best to cover it. The bread wasn’t warm like it used to be, and even the cabbage on top had noticeably declined in quality. I won’t be recommending this place to my friends anymore—I’m done. The wait is no longer worth it. Seriously wondering if there’s any quality check before dishes leave the kitchen… Now it is just one of the tourist cafes 🫤

It's one of the places I recommend in Amsterdam. I definitely recommend you to come. You have to wait in line for a while. It's crowded inside and the taste is very good.

I don’t understand the hype about this place. My cappuccino had a chemical after taste and the pastries (cinnamon chocolate roll) tasted old and chewy. Only reason for 2 stars is the friendly staff.

When I went there just before 12pm on a Sunday, there were already 5-6 groups lined up, but I was able to enter after waiting about 15 minutes. I was tempted to give up, but it seems like you can actually get in if you wait. The restaurant is deeper than it looks, so it seems like the turnover rate is high. All the dishes and breads looked delicious and I had a hard time deciding which ones to get, but I ordered the two standard items that everyone else was ordering. I was satisfied with both the quantity and the taste. It's a restaurant I'd like to visit again if I have the chance. There were samples of the breads nearby.

Amazing bakery! - Loved the Cruffin, both pistacchio anche chocolate very good. Lots of great options, classic sweets savoury things but also more original things - Prices are completely on average - Location wise is great because it’s in a very picturesque neighbourhood of Amsterdam - It’s a bakery but after you order you can enter the “cafe” area, where they sell more brunch and drink options and you can still sit there even if you ordered only from the bakery part. It has lots of space and it is very cosy - Lots of staff and very helpful Definitely recommend 👍🏻

The croissant itself is quite delicious! But the cheese filling is a bit too greasy and oily. At first it tasted delicious and amazing. I was so tired at the end that I didn’t finish the meal! It's better to order coffee, but the cocoa is just average.

Loved the atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food and nice coffee, I read about the place before going and didn’t get disappoint. The French toast and Croissant were perfect and we loved them the most, want to try more but the breakfast was fulfilling.

We were away for a night and wanted to have breakfast at a really good bakery. Came here via Google Maps. It was so good, not to say normal! The sourdough croissants are delicious, better than Robert van Beckhoven's. Sourdough bread also great, good crust and taste. Coffee also delicious. We had the board that also included yogurt. There was jam and honey in this, we thought it was a bit too much, I think if you do 1 of the 2 it will come out better. Go here!

I usually don’t find brunch anything special, but this place made me rethink brunch especially in Amsterdam. The shakshouka was the best I’ve ever tasted. A pistachio cruffin (A mix of a croissant and muffin) satisfied my sweet tooth, and the coffee was good as well.

Had to wait at the bar for a table, but that went very quickly! Lunch was delivered quickly and was really good! Opted for the Smashburger and egg on a croissant (would have liked a little more feta), but we certainly don't regret our choices. We were helped very friendly and quickly, even though the bakery was completely full.

Hey guys, although you offer takeaway coffee I don't really feel like you want to sell them. I was told to wait outside (in negative degree weather) and when the coffee came outside I wasn't offered sugar or anything. I guess because you don't have much room, and you're running the cafe. But the system you have doesn't feel nice as an experience.

We experienced rude and arrogant behavior from one of the waitresses, which spoiled our time there. However, when we addressed the issue, they acknowledged it and apologized.

We found this place because it was on the way to the fair we were attending. We ended up having coffee here every day. It's a delicious place! The breads are all naturally leavened and the service is excellent! I highly recommend it!

The sourdough in my pastrami sandwich was delicious. Although I would have liked some more meat - I found the sauce and the bread to be overpowering and I couldn’t taste the meat at all. Shakshuka had some nice sour tinge, and the focaccia worked very well with it, although it was too creamy for my taste and could use a little kick. The coffee was good. The staff was very friendly for Amsterdam standards. There was a short queue on Saturday, but it moved quickly.
