A real find! A very authentic restaurant with friendly, attentive service that explained everything. The rijsttafel was incredibly delicious and a new experience for our taste buds. You don't find that everywhere. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

The Rijstafel was absolutely exquisite, the best Indonesian I ever had. We ordered 2 for 3 adult persons, absolutely enough. I cannot take the negative criticisms seriously, it's probably the usual "torpedo" comments from local rivals

Excellent selection and fantastic service.

We ate here as a couple, but unfortunately it wasn't what we expected. The quality seemed like reheated food; the satay and prawns looked like they had been cooked in burnt oil. The green beans were way overcooked, or maybe not from today. We had ordered a menu for 24 euros per person, and when the bill came, it was 145.00. When I asked why, they replied, "Yes, but you had much more." Because what you ordered was supposed to fit on two plates.

Best Indonesian food, but it has gotten a bit worse since the previous owner stopped. Last time we made a reservation properly, but the grumpy staff couldn't find us and we were parked on the side. The service was substandard. Now, everyone can have a bad day sometimes, but you shouldn't project that onto the customers! It is a bit cheaper without that tip, of course.🤭 Back again on June 26, so curious to see how it is then! Hopefully Sophie still reads this.

Our favorite restaurant in Eindhoven!! Delicious traditional food in a lovely atmosphere with super sweet owners who make sure you have a wonderful time! Don't eat too much beforehand because you'll have to roll home... delicious!!!

The restaurant is located in a nice area. The food is good and the portions are reasonable. The employees are friendly and helpful.

The chef rice table had all kinds of food, from seafood to meat. All excellent with very tasty marinates. The environment feels intimate and the service was lovely, very kind and hosting. Will come back again.

We ordered a rijsttafel for €34 per person for four people… two of us had to eat with the table legs between our legs because the chairs didn't match the tables properly. The quality of the food was truly disappointing. Immediately after serving, some dishes were barely warm; reheated, in other words, and not fresh. Fitting for the temperature in the restaurant, though, as it was quite chilly, and not because of air conditioning, but simply because the heating was off in April. One dish contained a kind of meatball that clearly came from a factory. The waitress knocked over an ice cream sundae while serving but said nothing further about it. That was, by the way, the first dame blanche I’ve ever seen chocolate ice cream in. The waitress spoke good English, but with a French accent; she would have fit in better at another restaurant than a Balinese one. Around 9 o'clock, it became clear that we had to leave, as the staff started emphatically asking if we wanted anything else to drink and if we wanted the bill yet. They just barely avoided turning the chairs upside down on the tables. By the way, usually you get a lot of food in an Asian restaurant like that, certainly for the price; but with four average eaters, it was all just finished, and we even had dessert. And why did some of the lights go out for 10 minutes halfway through the evening? No, I won't be coming back here. Addition: in a dish with green beans, there was a hard green twig – the one the beans had been attached to on the bush. Not edible.

Im Indonesian and we went with 4 people. We ordered 2 different rijst tafels, but it tasted all the same. The server spoke French and messed up all the dishes. We had the most expensive rijstafel for $45 each, but it was not worth it. We will never come back here!!

Amazing food at a low price, the waiter was very friendly.

The dining experience was pretty much a letdown. From the lacking Indonesian hospitality, to the food itself. This restaurant felt smudgy from the getgo, old and in need of some tlc. I missed the authentic Indonesian hospitality. The maitre d wasn't having a good day it seemed. Even though a footy match was on, wearing a soccer shirt isn't really providing a nice scene (not into soccer myself) You weren't allowed to sit where you wanted (in a completely empty restaurant in the late afternoon, which didn't fill up before we left). Checking the menu the waiter said that the rice table we were looking at was to big for us,.that we should opt for the other one. We followed his advice, which we shouldn't have. To start, the rice was a cheap/bad quality and not even properly hot when served. Good rice should be the staple, and of what more's to come. None of the food was properly hot, being all luke warm at best. Some dishes weren't as expected, one wasn't even on the menu and replaced something else. Lots of dishes were very oily, and I've never seen a big chicken leg in a rice table, instead of the usual filet (was impossible to eat meat and clean). Found it a bit stingy giving half an egg per person. Also never seen Pisang goreng as part of the rice table, very odd. Some dishes were overly sweet as if chinese-indonesian. It all didn't taste like I'm used to, and I am mad for the Indonesian cuisine. The flavours overall let me down, missing the complexity , spiciness. I guess I'm just spoiled with all the good tokos in The Hague. We ate everything (and we're both not big eaters), which is mostly unheard of when you order a rice table. For the price paid you'd expect to be filled up properly.

I get the feeling a lot of the food was made days ago and they reheated it. Maybe not, but I certainly don't find the flavors inspiring. And what's also common is that they tell you what's what when they bring it to the table—especially in Indonesian restaurants with rijsttafels, that's helpful and common. Too expensive for what it is, too. The drinks they make themselves are delicious.

We had another fantastic meal at Bali. Everything was fresh and tender. We ordered the rijsttafel (rice table) and the mackerel, and it was delicious.

If you sit down to eat there, it tastes better. Well, for the first time I took it home, I didn't think it was that good.

What a gem!!!! The food was so delicious. Served with a genuine smile. We were recommended to eat at Bali. What a feast for the senses. We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt welcome and at ease. This was especially helpful for us, as we're easily irritated by stimuli and I usually have to wear earplugs. The music was very pleasant, quiet, and in the background. Furthermore, the restaurant is quite large, so you don't sit right next to other guests. We opted for the Bali super rijsttafel (rice table). They politely asked how spicy we wanted our food and if we had any allergies. When the food arrived, it was truly beautiful. Generous portions, very tasty. Real flavors I'd never tasted before, so delicious. All sorts of dishes were served, and they kept them warm and toasty. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and we received a genuine smile from them. It was wonderful to meet these special people. The prices are very reasonable, by the way, and not overpriced like many restaurants. Oh, and what's also good to mention is that the food is incredibly fresh and nutritious. You feel really full afterward, and I didn't experience any digestive issues, as I've often experienced at other similar restaurants. Truly exceptional. We will definitely be back. Really high quality, delicious food. Generous portions. Great place for large groups (we were with 8 people).

Service and ambience was good. Food was not great. The recurring theme in many dishes was very sweet peanut sauce and for a variant, very sweet chilli sauce. The level of sweetness in the food was just too much. I am not Indonesian. I am Malaysian so I do know what a great rendang should taste like. I do know great Malay food with layers of spice and taste that just unfolds in your mouth. This was disappointingly just not it. Never going back again. Maybe for the Dutch palate, this will fly but no marks for authenticity at all.

An authentic atmosphere. We always like the food there, especially the rendang and daging smoor. Plenty of choice on the menu and if you don't know what to choose, you will be helped well. We have been here before in the past, and the service is still super friendly, many can learn from that!

Unfortunately I just picked my food which I ordered via the phone. It looked amazing, but the taste was really off! The Tempe was not good anymore and I couldn’t finish because of it and threw it away!

The staff at Indonesian Bali Restaurant are very friendly and welcoming, which is great. However, the food leaves much to be desired. It’s fine if you’re in the area, but don’t expect amazing food.

I was disappointed with the restaurant. The food was tasteless and the prices exorbitant.

Portion of rendang for 1 person was no less than 18.50. Then you think you get a big portion. No, 5 cubes of dried beef. Portion of rice for €5 and 4 slices of prawn crackers for also €5. Drink with it and you leave hungry for a big amount. Bizarre prices for the quality and quantity.

We went quite early on a Saturday. Very friendly waiter/owner took care of us. We ate quite well and with a lot of variety of dishes.

Celebrated my child's 15th birthday last Saturday. The food was great, I could choose what I wanted and we listened carefully to our wishes. We were allowed to decorate everything and we had a lot of fun. Thank you Hannah and whole team!!

Food is not that interesting, many dishes with fish oil. We ordered something that didn't smell very good and the noodles were overcooked. I called and we could pick up something else, but in the restaurant I suddenly had to pay €7.50 for the rice. Not to be repeated!!

This very dated restaurant from prehistoric times has unfortunately not kept up with the times. The food is not bad, but it is not good either. It used to be real Indonesian food, now tailored to Dutch tastes. The satay kambing was fine, as was the rendang. The satay sauce unfortunately lacked depth of flavor and was bland. The nasi and bami were far below par and had been heated up in the microwave. Normally real Indian food should be quite spicy and this was not the case. That's why I ordered extra sambal and it was made with trassi, delicious. The price has kept up with the times and is far too high for the experience you get in return.

The Restaurant is really good for us, good service, good atmosphere and so kind ^^ Maybe, I think a lot of koreans love it ! We are plan to visit again in the future.

Some mixed feelings about this case. Friendly, but somewhat distant staff. Decor is quite dated and functional. Not a place for a romantic dinner. The rice table Bali special is excellent and enough for two people. The dishes are tasty, but not all equally good. The peanut sauce is unfortunately mediocre without any authentic taste, which is a shame. The sajoer lodeh served did not contain any vegetables. This was quickly replaced after a comment. The noodles for 3 euros extra were only cooked, and without any seasoning. So definitely not worth the extra costs. The nasi kuning was tasty. Excellent food, but probably not the best Indonesian restaurant in town

After two restaurants closed seating early due to it being slow, we found this fabulous restaurant. They were kind and the food was delicious. I will go back.

It was such an amazing experience to eat here! This is the best indonesian food I have ever had, I recommend the tofu and the ice tea, but I didn’t try a single thing that I didn’t like:) Also not too spicy coming from a white girl

Het eten smaakt goed en is verzorgd opgemaakt. Vriendelijk personeel, goede service, er wordt regelmatig gevraagd of alles naar wens is.

Wij komen hier al meer dan 20 jaar.het blijft super lekker eten.mensen hebben een opmerking over het interieur, als je in balie op vacantie ben geweest,daar hangen ook geen slingers in het restaurant. De keuken is het belangrijkste gewoon een dikke 10.

One of the best rijsttafels I've had. Food was tasty, service was attentive, couldn't ask for more.

Erg jammer, ik ken hun al jarenlang. Deze keer was ik er alleen. Zeer beperkte keuze, zeer kleine portie, moest bij de 1 persoons rijsttafel nog iets bijbestellen om ze rond te krijgen. Eten was vetter dan ik gewend was, boontjes helemaal kapot gekookt, gedroogde uien waren nat en smaken raar. Extra bami erbij besteld, was een kinderportie.

Al meer dan 40 jaar kom ik graag met mijn familie bij Bali eten, vroeger al met mijn ouders. Ik weet nog dat ze verbouwd hebben voor het huidige interieur. Het eten is zeer smaakvol en ik ben nog geen beter Indonesisch restaurant tegen gekomen. Het personeel is in al die jaren, net als het eten, even goed gebleven.

Eten is lekker. Aardig personeel . Restaurant is wel oud en groot van binnen. Daarom niet zo gezellig. Het was niet druk toen wij er waren en dat op een zaterdag. Kunt niet parkeren. Moet in parkeer garage 4 euro per uur. Maar het eten is goed.

Erg lekker gegeten, we hadden de vegetarische rijsttafel. Heel veel verschillende gerechtjes en de hoeveelheid was perfect. Een echte 'old school' plek, super schattig en ik zou zeker teruggaan.

Heel lekker gegeten! Goede service, de service is snel maar ondanks dat nemen ze wel echt de tijd voor je. Erg vriendelijk en geven goede suggesties. Ik ben een “picky eater” en toch werden er goede suggesties aan me gegeven over wat ik eventueel lekker zou vinden. Het eten is erg lekker en vers, ook hebben ze veel huisgemaakte dingen zoals een (erg lekkere!!) koffie liqueur en spekkoek. Verder zijn ze erg gastvrij en heb je absoluut niet het gevoel dat je opgejaagd wordt, als je lekker lang wil tafelen is Bali dus ook echt een aanrader. Het restaurant heeft een fijne sfeer waarbij je niet super dicht op andere zit waardoor je fijn en rustig met je meegangers kan eten. Het restaurant is ook mooi ingericht. Je merkt dat het eten echt authentiek Indonesisch is. De kaart bevat veel keuze en ook veel vegetarische opties, ondanks dat het menu zo uitgebreid is merk je wel dat alles echt vers is. Ook is de prijs kwaliteit echt top! Je krijgt echt waar voor je geld en je bent niet veel kwijt voor een avond dineren met meerdere gangen. Ook is het restaurant op een erg fijne en makkelijk bereikbare locatie met een grote parkeerplaats schuin voor de ingang. De conclusie is dus eigenlijk: echt een aanrader, voor gewoon gezellig dineren of voor een verjaardag of andere gelegenheid en voor lang tafelen of kort tafelen. Ik kan er niks slechts over kwijt.

Het eten is geweldig. Dit restaurant bestaat al heel lang en staat om zijn goede keuken bekend. De sfeer is wat het interieur betreft iets minder, maar wordt door de vriendelijke mensen weer gemoedelijk

Lekker gegeten, maar gewoon goed, niets bijzonders. Bali Menu Speciaal voor twee personen gekozen. Lekker van alles wat. Sommige gerechten niet helemaal warm helaas ondanks de warmhoudroosters met kaarsjes. Personeel kon niet uitleggen wat sommige gerechten waren. En bij afrekenen stond er wijn op de rekening die wij niet besteld hadden. Kan een keer gebeuren natuurlijk, maar voelt niet goed. Sfeer in restaurant (inrichting en verlichting) kan ook veel gezelliger. Zeker dit Indonesisch eten een keer proberen, maar gewoon als maaltijd. Niet als speciaal avondje uit eten.

Eten is echt heerlijk, shoutout naar hannah voor de topservice. Ik zal sowieso nog terug komen. De saté is echt heel lekker!!!

Zéér slechte ervaring beleefd aldaar, ik had gereserveerd, maar moest bijna een half uur wachten op mijn tafeltje, het was tijdens de Glow en alles en iedereen kon binnenlopen, personeel wist niet waar de bestellingen heen moesten, drinken kwam al helemaal niet aan, kortom, het is er door de jaren niet beter op geworden, ik ga er niet meer naartoe.
