We had a very pleasant evening. The food was delicious and the service was very warm and friendly.

Cosy atmosphere, nice music and lots of Bosnian items on the walls. Clear menus. Good and fast service, chat and extra from the family that runs it here. Food was ready within 15/20 minutes and it was delicious. View from the restaurant into the kitchen is a bit less pleasant, and I also think the name 'eetcafe' sounds a bit cheap, this is more than just a quick bite. In short, they know what they are doing and offering and are extremely hospitable. Top restaurant.

An unforgettable wedding day at Café Sarajevo 🌟 December 24, 2024 For our small, intimate wedding, we chose the cozy family restaurant Café Sarajevo. Even during the preparations, we felt incredibly welcome. During our first meeting with the owners, we discussed the possibility of hosting our wedding dinner on Christmas Eve. To our great joy, they enthusiastically agreed! We discussed the menu and decorations together, and the day before the party, we were invited to decorate the café. The owners' daughter helped us very warmly – thank you so much! On the wedding day itself, everything was perfectly arranged. The drinks were unlimited, with a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. And the food? Exceptionally delicious! We chose Balkan cuisine, which proved to be a perfect balance between our Russian and Dutch families. From potatoes and vegetables to various meats, cheeses, and sauces – there was something for everyone. Everyone was impressed, even those who were discovering this cuisine for the first time. Everything was served in generous platters, ensuring there was enough for everyone—more than enough, in fact. Even though we stayed longer than planned, no one complained. On the contrary: the hospitality remained heartwarming. We look back on our wedding day at Café Sarajevo with immense gratitude and warmth. The atmosphere, the service, and especially the taste of the dishes were unforgettable. 💛 Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

A true gem somewhat hidden in the center of Burgum! Eating here in the evening really makes you feel like you're in a different, relaxed world. Nicely decorated, small-scale restaurant, where you feel and taste the love of the owners (a family from Sarajevo). The tasting for 2 people is highly recommended, including an extensive explanation from the owners!

Attentive and smooth service. Our group knew the owner and that created a pleasant atmosphere. More than enough food. And a nice explanation of how to eat a starter without plates. If you are not familiar with Burgum, it is worth searching for the location.

We received a very nice welcome there, but we weren't that happy with the food. It tasted good, but the portions were too small. It's a shame that we didn't get full. Price/performance was therefore not right.

Traditional food made in a traditional way,everything is homemmade, and it tastes exactly like in Sarajevo. Staff is great, so friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself looks beautiful. This is by far the best Balkan Restaurant out of the Balkan, and in 7 years of traveling through EU, I've seen a lot.

This Balkan restaurant offers a wonderful holiday feeling with its authentic dishes and fantastic flavors. Wat een leuk restaurant, klein maar fijn zoals ze zeggen. Eten smaakte prima, ruim voldoende en als het niet genoeg is maken ze bij. Vriendelijke bediening, leuke gezellige eigenaren. Eigenaar kwam zelf nog even aan de tafel om te checken of alles naar wens was, echt een hele leuke gezellige plek om even te eten.

Solide gegessen, nette Bedienung. Allerdings die Plastikschalen für Mayonnaise und Aiwa auf der Platte störten das Ambiente. Der Mokka klassisch zubereitet und stilvoll serviert, sehr gut. Aber der nicht günstige Slivovitz wurde in normalen Schnapsgläsern serviert, da geht mehr Balkan.

Dit restaurant heeft super lekkere gerechten. We komen regelmatig vanuit Bosnië, bij familie bezoeken, hier eten om de puurheid en eerlijke Balkan gerechten te kunnen nuttigen. We kennen de familie en hun schone keuken. Ontzettend gastvrije en vriendelijke mensen. Echt heerlijk eten daar. En ja weer is dit restaurant voor het 3de jaar op een rij als beste beoordeeld.

Balkan hamburger en Balkan koffie gehad voor een scherpe prijs en juiste kwaliteit met vriendelijke bediening en mooie producten en goede service geboden een aanrader!!!

Gisteren heerlijk gegeten bij eetcafé Sarajevo. En met een heerlijke wijn er bij. We voelden ons heel welkom, hartelijke ontvangst. We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Klein eetcafe met fijne sfeer. Hele lieve en gastvrije eigenaren, leuke gesprekken gehad. Ontzettend lekker eten ook, de ustipci zijn om je vingers bij op te eten, ook is er traditioneel kokosgebak wat bij ons erg in de smaak viel. Zelfs de koffie is bijzonder goed. Aanrader!

Dit is voor mij hoe een buitenlands restaurant hoort te zijn. Het eten is erg authentiek en verrukkelijk. Door de open keuken kun je zien hoe alles vers wordt klaargemaakt. De bediening door dit familiebedrijfje was ook perfect. Vriendelijk, warm, ze vertelden graag over het eten, en hebben duidelijk passie voor hun restaurant. Na het eten konden we gewoon blijven zitten, en hebben we ook nog een praatje gemaakt met de eigenaar. Enorme aanrader, het is direct mijn favoriete restaurant geworden.
