Brasserie Om de Dobben in Wijk 00 Burgum

Yesterday, September 29th, we had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was a wonderful experience in every way. The food was delicious, the atmosphere superb, and the service outstanding. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. We will definitely be back.

A lovely place to eat, drink, and relax. There's also a nice playground for the kids.

We went to the brasserie today. I had the delicious spare ribs that fell off the bone. My girlfriend had the sea bass, which was boneless and delicious. For dessert, I had a great Burgumer coffee. Great restaurant, with a children's playground!

We had a wonderful high tea. There was nothing we didn't like because we didn't like it and were able to take some home with us.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in a beautiful rural setting. Good value for money.

For the second time here, we had a nice cup of coffee and something tasty. It's great fun for the little ones while mom and dad can have a drink. It's also nice when there are lambs.

Delicious food and great service! Unfortunately, there were all sorts of playground toys in the lake, hence the one-star deduction.

We had a wonderful 12 hours, with a delicious soup beforehand, followed by a croquette sandwich and an omelet. Everything was perfect, the atmosphere was great, and the location was great (and quiet).

The meal salad was floating in half a liter of dressing. Impossible...

We had a fantastic lunch here today, super friendly staff (where else do you find that?), good price quality. After lunch (uitsmijter om de Dobben) another coffee with apple pie....in one word: delicious! And all that in a beautiful location!

Beautiful place, nice environment. Large portions that really fill you up, and oh what a delicious quality 🤤. Had a brie sandwich with a large fresh mint tea, definitely recommended to try. When booking it was indicated that the last place was not fully accessible for disabled people, but fortunately that was not a problem upon arrival.

What a beautiful and cozy place, even small children have been thought of, they can play freely, great!

Very disappointing! We have been coming here for years but that has now happened. No space or flexibility at all to create a place for 9 people. First a table is added, but then put back again. Then you can sit on a picnic table outside the terrace. Very very disappointing!

Situated a bit out of the way, but therefore safe and spacious parking lot. Great restaurant.

What could be fun is a complete flop as far as I'm concerned. With lovely weather, there are more people next to the terrace than there is room on the terrace, they have not been able to drink a cup of coffee or have lunch. Maybe expand the terrace a bit because this will certainly happen more often and there is plenty of space. Otherwise it's all quite atmospheric.

The brasserie is located in the green between Hardegarijp and Burgum. Enough parking spaces. Friendly service. We ordered a carpaccio sandwich. Quickly on the table. Delicious brown bread and richly topped with carpaccio. There is also a playground for the children.

Simply delicious food 4* is because it was a bit on the salty side. More than enough and we can get rare items on the table and that is appreciated. The meat was of excellent quality!! I really hate red cabbage, something from the past 😬 but this was delicious.

We regularly eat at Om de Dobben This is the first time we have been disappointed. several dishes that were disappointing. I often compliment the chef, but not now. A small Burgerbol with hamburger. Lettuce leaf, slice of pickle, tomato, some bacon sauce, cheese. No bowl of fries and salad Pancake that was undercooked. Chicken thigh satay Lots of small pieces of fries no salad It just wasn't all right. Shame

The restaurant is located in the middle of the meadows and you can enjoy nice walks there. The coffee and pastries were absolutely fine. I only thought the terrace was very stiffly decorated.

Despite being busy, great service. Food was delicious and complete; glass of water next to the wine, ask if you want all the side dishes, rhubarb crumble is much more than that, add ice cream and whipped cream, beautifully decorated with all kinds of goodies. Top!

We celebrated our wedding at Om De Dobben on April 17 this year. Regina was definitely a great point of contact and easily accessible for questions. On the day itself we were assigned Daan Wiebe. What a fine young man! Hospitable and professional! Was ready from the moment of arrival until the end. No question was too crazy and we were taken care of every step of the way. The food was delicious, the group space was nice and the children had a great time playing. Thank you!

Food was tasty and nice atmosphere but our friends were there before us and no one came to ask if they wanted something to drink while waiting. She had to ask herself. Then we found something less.

Nice place to have a delicious meal! Service is attentive until the end is in sight and they are busier cleaning up and closing up than the guests who are still there. You see this more often, it's always a shame, but it is the only downside!

Chicken sij very tasty, fries very hard, won't come again, said the clerk.

We received a friendly welcome, food was served quickly. Fries were way too well done and all small pieces.. Reported but nothing was done. Unfortunately, my husband became ill afterwards

What a wonderful place to enjoy yourself with the children. Very nice play area for the children, both inside and outside. The outdoor play area is fenced and there is a good view from the terrace. The food is good portions and tastes very good! I have had a number of times when I asked if something could be adjusted in my dish and this was not always answered. Unfortunately, there are also too few parking spaces for busy days, so you can park along the road. Nothing serious, but hence a 4 instead of 5 for service.

Leuke kaart, heerlijk gegeten in een sfeervolle omgeving. Aandachtspuntje voor de kok: de gebakken aardappelschijfjes waren veel te hard (te lang gebakken?). De patatjes waren daarentegen prima!

Sinds de opening (5 jaar geleden) hier voor het eerst gedineerd. Indruk was goed en tafel was gereserveerd. Mooie omgeving en informeel van karakter. We hadden mosterdsoep besteld met Friese droge worst, deze stond in no time op de tafel. Persoonlijk vind ik mosterdsoep gebonden lekkerder en de Friese worst was aanwezig, helaas was het zoeken. De tournedos was op zich goed . De warme groente (rode biet met cashewnoten) smaakte goed. De friet was te doorgebakken en te klein. Op een afbeelding van een eerdere review zag de friet er beter uit. We hadden om dessert gevraagd maar na de kaart te hebben gekregen duurde het wel heel erg lang om onze keus door te geven. We zijn maar opgestaan en betaald. Geen herhaling voor ons.

Super leuke familiedag gehad. Service en personeel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Eten heerlijk. Echt een leuk adres voor zowel grote groepen als met z'n tweeën.

We hebben afgelopen zaterdag een geweldige familie dag gehad bij onder de dobben. Kon niet beter. Bediening plek eten super.

Wij hebben hier heerlijk gegeten met de familie. Met mooi weer vermaken de kinderen zich prima in de omheinde speeltuin.

Geweldig eten echt een aanrader ! Je proeft aan het eten dat het met passie wordt bereid 👌🏼wij komen zeker terug 👍🏼

We hebben hier echt genoten. Waren er vanwege een verjaardag. Vooral Sanne-Maike (met één "a"!) was een voorbeeldig gastvrouw! Praatje met de eigenaresse was prettig. Ga Zo Doorrrrrr!

Wat een mooie combinatie van horeca en natuur in de Fryske Walden! En alles ziet er keurig netjes uit! De medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk, de soep was lekker en de hond mocht mee op het terras. Fijn dat de brasserie en het natuurgebied ook toegankelijk zijn voor mensen met een beperking.

Ik heb hier de barbecue genoten, en genoten is wel het sleutelwoord. Het slechte weer deed daar geen afbreuk aan; de hele groep kon ruim zitten in de halfopen, verwarmde ruimte. Het eten was voortreffelijk, en de bediening heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Prachtig lokatie, leuk en vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk gegeten, mooi nieuw gebouw met één rustige, warme sfeer. Super schoon. Een leuke plek voor kinderen, met een mooi buiten speelplaats en ze konden ook nog binnen spelen.

Om in een goede omgeving goed te kunnen eten kun je bij Om de Dobben goed terecht. Bediening is goed en deskundig, gaan in op je persoonlijke verlangen. Kwaliteit van de producten is prima maar als je wat meer dan trek hebt, zijn de porties aan de kleine kant. Misschien puntje om voor verbetering, dan maar de prijs iets omhoog.

Heerlijk gegeten, culinair hoogstandje. Pijs-kwaliteit verhouding is prima in evenwicht. Goede bediening, fijne sfeer en prettige achtergrondmuziek.
