Great place, with the best spring rolls in town for only €1.25. Definitely come by! The location doesn't look like you can go there, but the door is on the right, and you can order there. Recommended for everyone!

I don't understand why people come here voluntarily. The fries are disgusting, and the place stinks of old grease. The schnitzel is burnt with black onion on the side. You never get the right sauce, and the fries are always soggy. Perhaps also a tip to keep your place clean; there are mouse droppings in every corner of the building.

Fries are never overcooked. The woman at the ruff, the old woman (who I think is the owner) always gives me very few fries, but when my partner goes (a man), she always gives me plenty, which is striking. There was a glitch on the website. I politely told her over the phone, even though we'd ordered by phone, and she told me to look into it and call her back. Excuse me? I'm not your employee. She also judges me if I come early for my fries, but when another male customer arrives with the exact same order at the same time, she doesn't say anything! The other employees are friendly. The fries arrived two hours late, very limp, and went straight in the trash.

What a gem this fries shop in Bataviastad is! 😍 The service is really great: super friendly and attentive. I regularly come here with my 2-year-old son, who happily rides around on his tricycle. As soon as we walk in, we are warmly welcomed and asked what goodies we want. My little man even got a free soft serve ice cream cone, which made his day! And after dinner the owner came with a wet towel to clean his sticky hands - how sweet and thoughtful is that? 🍟🍨 Truly a place where you feel welcome, with a big plus for being child-friendly. We will definitely come back!
