Nice snack bar with friendly staff and the best slush puppies in Lelystad. I've been coming here every day since my pregnancy for my daily slush ❤️

Friendly staff. Great snack bar, plenty of options. The fries are much tastier and crispier compared to other places. I also stop here sometimes for an ice cream or slushy. The price-quality ratio is much better than KFC, McDonald's, or Burger King. PS: We always stop by or get takeout. We don't have to wait long and it is always good.

I order from you often and it's usually delicious, but today wow, I don't know if I can add a photo, but the cheeseburger looked terrible, and the fries... well, the whole container looked like they were re-fried 4 times. I tried a fry anyway, tough as... Jeez, what a shame, maybe a new person on staff, no idea, but I'm not used to this from you, yuck! The cheese sticks and bitterballen were okay though.

Good portions, tasty burgers, delicious satay sauce. Always friendly staff and up for a chat. Nothing is too much trouble when it comes to requests; they make it happen. Great snack bar!

Unfortunately, the quality varies greatly, the food is often severely cold, and the fries are double-fried; in short, I think we are going to look for something else.

We order regularly, but now we are ordering 3 soft ice creams for the third time. Three times in a month, we get a call back stating that the delivery of the ice creams will take 1.5 hours. When you then ask why it takes so long for 3 ice creams, they say, "Yeah, it's busy. Hire more delivery drivers." And the answers aren't customer-friendly either, because they are offended that you then cancel the order.

I wouldn't recommend ordering from here. Paid 12.85 for Raspatat with a Bamischijf and a Slush Puppy. The Slushy Puppy wasn't delivered, the Raspatat was soggy and cold, and the Bamischijf was ice cold too. I was able to just throw everything away. And of course, it was only delivered after closing time. If you don't want to work until closing, close your orders earlier instead of doing this.

The lid of one of the two milkshakes came loose during delivery, causing the milkshake to end up in the bag instead of the cup. It happens! Especially with so many orders per day. Called Kemphaan and they brought two new milkshakes within 15 minutes. You acted fast, guys, thanks!

This snack bar has become really expensive. You pay €3.15 for a frikandel now!!!! I am never coming here again. And many have followed my lead.

After a long wait for the food, it was delivered later than agreed. It was wet and soggy, cold and far too salty. The price of around 18 euros was definitely not worth the money for 2 fries and a frikandel and berenhap which was black on the outside and raw on the inside. This is really bad and very disappointing, so people do not visit this place because you can throw your food away and buy something else elsewhere.

I placed an order, but the food was all wet and soggy from the grease. And then I didn't receive my entire order. You call to say something is missing, and they tell you, "Yes, sir, it's busy. Do you want a refund for the missing items next time?" Because it was busy, I couldn't send someone back to bring it or get a refund for what I'm missing. Make sure your orders are correct before you send them out, and don't come up with a lame story about how busy it is and you can't send anyone back. If you treat your customers like this, you'll quickly lose them.

This is an institution. This should be on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Chicken fillet fries with chili sauce. 9 euros. Where else can this be? The whole world is on fire, but the Kemphaan in Lelystad gives hope in these frightening times. 12 stars out of 5.

This snack bar was okay a few years ago, but what I'm experiencing now is really taking it too far. I order fries, a burger, and a frikandel from the shop. Then I drive to a neighboring neighborhood (punter). I unwrap it immediately, and the fries are just cold, not even lukewarm. How so? And now the next day I've had to go to the bathroom four times. I'll never come here again!

Every order I place is followed by a phone call telling me the delivery will take a long time, and then offering the option to cancel. Today, I only received a call after 30 minutes, saying it would take another 75 minutes. In that half hour, I could have long since found another place to order from, and my children wouldn't have had to wait so long for their food. Even when I offer to pick it up, they say it's too busy. I've never received my order on time from this place. My order is often wrong here; I order without onions, but always get them with onions. I'll never order from here again. It's a shame, because I used to order from here often, even after they kept making mistakes with the onions.

I've never had such a bad experience as at De Kemphaan. I waited two hours for my food. When I called, they said they'd "called" me and even "stopped by." There were no missed calls on my phone, and no one had come to the door. As soon as you mention this, they start an argument and even call you a liar. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, the packaging was torn, and the employee was once again rude and in an exaggerated tone. The fries used to be good at De Kemphaan, but this time they were truly awful: cold, tough, and clearly fried in old grease—dark brown and inedible. After this whole ordeal, I'm done. I'll never order from here again. Absolutely not recommended.

Food was delicious and the staff are friendly

After placing an order online, I received a call informing me that the delivery time would be over an hour. I agreed to this. Then, to my surprise, the employee informed me that the order could neither be delivered nor picked up, citing the excessive demand. This essentially meant that my order was cancelled due to high demand, which I consider scandalous and unprofessional. I've never experienced such a rejection of an accepted order before.

We will definitely come back, friendly man with a nice appearance, fast food and the price quality is great, thank you.

A very nice and clean place! Just had a delicious meal, especially for the price: €6.40 for a frikandel, bamischijf (a Dutch noodle dish), and a coke! The service was excellent, and now I can relax peacefully with a full stomach by the water.

Pfff, I placed my order at half past five and only received it at half past seven. The fries were soggy. I ordered a frikandel with special ketchup and only got the ketchup. The kids' menu doesn't even include a surprise, but you pay 8 or 9 euros for it. It's the last time I've ordered from here and I'm very disappointed.

Fries are never overcooked. The woman at the ruff, the old woman (who I think is the owner) always gives me very few fries, but when my partner goes (a man), she always gives me plenty, which is striking. There was a glitch on the website. I politely told her over the phone, even though we'd ordered by phone, and she told me to look into it and call her back. Excuse me? I'm not your employee. She also judges me if I come early for my fries, but when another male customer arrives with the exact same order at the same time, she doesn't say anything! The other employees are friendly. The fries arrived two hours late, very limp, and went straight in the trash.

Best snack bar in all of Lelystad Nothing beats the Kemphaan Always friendly and good service and of course the best food!

EXPENSIVE compared to other snack bars

Never had any problems in the past and it was my favorite place, but for several 2 years now I have had problems with every order, from milkshakes over the order, missing products, receiving completely different orders, and waiting longer than 2 hours for the food. Today I tried again and unfortunately after 2 hours I called again to find out where it was, they had skipped the entire order because they thought it had already been made, so it still had to be done. And then I deliberately ordered early because my little one was hungry... the food was then delivered cold after 3 hours, the food tastes good, but something could be done about the planning, work schedule and delivery. Edit: as a compensation, I was reimbursed for my next order, which was warm within 30 minutes tonight, and delivered completely by a very nice, prompt delivery person who had no trouble climbing some stairs and delivered it with a smile, my compliments.

Delicious burgers and handmade meatballs. Satay sauce is very tasty.

Staff is always very friendly. Today I also ordered and I actually got a call straight away that it would take a long time for the food to arrive. It's nice that this is reported in advance so that you can take it into account :) Upon arrival everything was warm and the food tasted good!

Been a regular customer since 2004 (since I live on my own 😉) Actually never had any significant problems with this business! Gets along with everyone who works or has worked there! Excellent service and quality!

Was always good. But when I place my order I ask if they can drive quietly because my sauce is always all over the bag. But no, I've been ordering them for 30 years, but I'm done with them now.

In my opinion the best snack bar experience in Flevoland.

Ordered several times, but today was the height of frustration... had to wait 1 hour and 45 minutes for food (2141 ordered!, 2325 delivered...) You don't expect crowds 'late' in the evening... but it will take quite some time. .we can finally eat it, it's still cold! And you can't call, because we are closed... this is the last time we order here!

Well it was another special evening for me. Waited 2 hours for 3 snacks and fries… Food was cold and wet because it was in the paper. Called twice and the first time they had not even started the order, 75 minutes later... Then called again when the delivery person was on his way... maybe the delivery person got lost because it took 30 minutes!! Scandalous. We will never order from here again

Order incomplete, milkshakes were missing, delivery person would be back shortly, so it is almost impossible to contact us. After many attempts we finally contacted them, they didn't have time, it was too busy, that's not my problem, you should have brought the order in at once. We have now finished eating and an hour later the milkshake is delivered, which is a bad thing.

Waited 2 hours for my order of 3 fries and 3 snacks. Ordered at 5:50 PM Called at 6:50 PM They say another 20 minutes Called at 7:30 PM. Unreachable. Picked up food myself at another chip shop, back home at 7:45 PM. 19:53 Ruff at the door. Unfortunately too late. And sent away again.

Voor de eerste keer terplaatse gegeten met familie. Eten werd zonder een woord te zeggen op tafel gelegd. Patat stoofvlees leek op uiensoep. Hamburgers waren niet smakelijk. Geen sfeer. Bij aankomst en vertrek geen woord ontvangen van de medewerkers. Eens maar nooit meer.

Vriendelijk personeel, als er een foutje wordt gemaakt volgt snel herstel met gemeende excuses. Patat matig gebakken.

Heerlijk gegeten! Patat perfect gezout, een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding en snel geholpen door een lieve dame. Zeker een aanrader!!!

Wij waren hier op een zondag middag maar met 1 medewerker duurde het ruim 20 minuten voordat we konden bestellen. En ik was de eerstvolgende die moest bestellen. Mensen die na mij binnen kwamen liepen al weg en gaf ze geen ongelijk. Bezuinigen op een verkeerde manier.

Hele aardige mensen. Goeie assortiment. Goede service. Je kan het ook laten bezorgen.

Leuke snackbar, lekker eten en aardig personeel

Klantvriendelijk, goede service, de snacks altijd heerlijk en goed verpakt. Begin van ons weekend maaltijd. :-)

2 x op 1 avond besteld de bestelling was goed en je wensen in de comments worden echt gelezen levering was snel en warm aangekomen. Heb wel een tip. Bij de milkshake een wat dikker rietje. ( de site was erg traag en de menu was weg ) Maar voor de rest een top tent !!!!!!!!

Aardige vrij standaard snack bar. Bezorging ben ik niet heel tevreden over (laat, slechte feedback), maar afhalen kan prima.

Ik kom hier al jaren voor mijn patat, erg lekker en vriendelijke werknemers!

Altijd goed eten en snelle service. Jammer genoeg is de patat de laatste tijd wat zout.

Heerlijke frietjes en andere snacks ook erg smakelijk. Het personeel is snel is zeer vriendelijk :)

Het eten is oprecht hardstikke lekker! Niks op aan te merken en een heel stuk lekkerder dan andere snackbars. Ik geef 2 sterren omdat ik nu al meerdere keren online heb besteld en na anderhalf uur wachten maar eens bel wanneer het eten komt, en ik dan te horen krijg dat ze de bestelling niet gezien hadden en dat ze het z.s.m klaarmaken en brengen. Ik heb gevraagd om misschien een blikje cola als (goedmakertje) maar dat mocht hij helaas niet doen van zijn manager. Echt niks anders als compensatie. Echt meerdere malen uren moeten wachten op ons eten en we kunnen er gewoon niet meer op aan.

Ik heb heerlijk gegeten ,goede service De milkshake vergeten en ik werd gebeld dat het bezorgd werd en ja,hoor heel snel kwam het dus ook nog lieve mensen klantgericht en de bezorger ook toppie hoor Ga,zo door lieve mensen

My standard go to Snackbar is de Kemphaan since I actually never have problems with ordering at there establishment.

Erg vriendelijke staff en heerlijke knapperige patat! lees over slappe frietjes, maar dat gebeurt vaker als je warm eten besteld: het wordt klef in de zak, dus kom gezellig langs voor de echte ervaring, er hangt een gezellige sfeer en een echte aanrader. Dankjewel :)
