Thursday 20/08/2026. Entry to Banana Club was 30 euros (including two 'free' drinks). 8 ladies performing - I would describe them as attractive. Table lap dances for 1 song were 45 euros. Private lap dances for 3 songs were 100 euros. Atmosphere fairly early in the evening not long after opening was quite relaxed which I liked. Although the ladies constantly asked for tips which I did not like (presumably given the touristy nature of the area they are likely used to lots of American tourists I guess). It also seems strange to me that the cost of private lap dance was the same as the cost of a 'full service' offered by the ladies in the windows outside in the Red Light District. I did not go into the proper BananaBar so cannot comment on the prices for the Banana related shows in there. All in all, I enjoyed my evening in the Banana Club and will likely return next time I am in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately, it was closed on Sunday when we were there. A reason to go back again.

I think everyone working in this bar needs to go to a bar where people actually know how this industry works. What a terribly boring place, a total waste of money. Came in quite early in the night, very little going on. 1 girl dancing on stage as "necessary". all of a sudden, 1 girl came down the stairs and fixed the atmosphere. Monica she told me her name was, She was fantastic at her job, I got a lapdance, private room and nearly went to private floor, she is an absolute pro and worth every penny. I will be back regularly on Mondays just for Monica❤️ (except for the next few weeks as she will be enjoying a vacation❤️❤️) Fantastic spot, 35 quid for 2 drinks and the opportunity of time with these ladies is beyond worth it I will be back!

Don't fall for the "30-euro alternative" (Banana Club)! You pay a €30 entrance fee including two free drinks, but before you've even reached the bar, you're immediately approached by a woman. She pulls you straight into a corner and aggressively tries to sell you a lap dance for €45. If you're caught off guard and don't immediately say "no" loudly or hesitate for even a moment, she just starts. In the end, you're pressured, given a hefty bill, and security is lurking in the background, ready to put pressure on you. It's a complete tourist trap that relies on intimidation. Avoid this place.

We had a lovely first experience. Thanks to the beautiful card from sweet Sammy. Cynthia's banana show, and Nathaly's head massage. Unfortunately, the latter lasted less than 5 minutes per person. You do indeed have to pay attention; admission is separate from the shows. Upstairs in the strip area, you were indeed approached immediately. It is the concept, of course, but the ladies sometimes keep asking questions a little too long. That wasn't the case in the downstairs bar. You are, however, sort of obliged to take a show, at least 3. It would be nice if this were indicated outside, but I understand the way they operate very well. Tourism, and they are the only banana bar in the whole world. We are happy with the handwritten menu (not written with hands, feet, or mouth, so guess what it was written with) and a pleasant conversation. As a couple, we had a fantastic evening. And every experience teaches you something new. Finally, we know what the banana bar is like; an experience not to be forgotten and definitely to be repeated!! And Cynthia, we weren't hungry again 🍌🍌🍌.

You pay 50.- for an hour with 4 drinks of your choice! Per person The shows are one price for the group together; the shows range from 35.- for 1 lady to 6 shows for multiple ladies for 200.- And various shows including a banana eating contest. The shows are unique; you have to anticipate along, which makes the experience truly unique! The card written with the p…. is definitely the most special thing!! Thank you Sammy for the beautiful card! The ladies have humor and are sweet! Definitely recommended if you want something unique! In any case, it is an experience you will never forget!

The usual tourist trap, a total scam. One of the ladies forced us to tip, almost like in an aggressive way. I mean to tip the dance that was already included in the initial ticket, that was not cheap btw.

Absolute RIP-OFF!!!!! At the checkout, they describe different levels, which of course depend on the amount of money you pay, but once you reach the top, you're not allowed to see or do anything that was promised at the checkout. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

Review of Bananen Club. The Bananen Club has a separate entrance fee from the Bananen Bar and is slightly cheaper. I only went to the club. You get two drinks with your admission (30 euros). It is quite a nice place. There is a bar and a spacious seating area. It is mainly frequented by tourists, and there is a relaxed atmosphere. There is a pole in the middle where girls perform a striptease or dance every so often. Some of the girls are very good at this! They usually go topless for a bit. There is always quite a bit of time between performances, though. The girls like to push for tips or a lap dance (35 euros). I found that a bit pushy at times. Of course, it is up to you whether you want it. Nice club for an evening out; I think the 3.5-star rating is accurate, though it isn't so special that it deserves 4 stars.

The club is awful, it's a tourist trap, the girls are unpleasant and ugly! It's expensive, €30 including a drink and €25 for a dance, and when you refuse because you don't like the girl, she gives you a hard time! It's really rubbish!

We asked the bartender for two drinks, but he only made one. When we pointed out the mistake, he reacted aggressively, threw the glass, broke it, and spilled the drink all over us. Security did absolutely nothing to properly handle the situation. In fact, they seemed more interested in covering it up and kicking us out than dealing with what had happened. We only got our money back because we insisted. Otherwise, it felt like they were just trying to ignore the situation and make us leave. This was a shocking and completely unacceptable experience. I strongly do not recommend this place. The staff were aggressive, rude, and extremely unprofessional.

Honestly the worst place in Amsterdam to visit. The staff are rude. They want you out the door as quickly as they wanted you in the door. You see a show for about 30seconds which is so low budget its laughable. You then get hounded for an extra 200+ euros to see more and if you say no you are verbally abused and essentially thrown out. so many better places to go. Do not waste your money in here. Oh and heaven forbid you wear a jacket in there, you are frog marched to the top floor to check it in, no discussion. Jacket off or your out no refunds.

We had a great time after work with my colleagues. Entry was €40 for the "soft" part, including two drinks. For that price, you can enjoy the hostesses with personalized dances (expect to pay €20 or €30 for a solo show). The guide at the entrance is a well-known figure in the red-light district. Entrance is 50€ per person. The security guard at the entrance said there would be a show, and if you want the girl to do something for you, you have to pay extra. In fact, four girls are sitting there, come up and say, if you want a show, you have to pay. If you don't pay, there will be no show. We came as a couple. We drank a cocktail for 100€. +1 special star for Roxanne who, in addition to being an amazing dancer, is super funny and kind 🌛✨ Great experience! The pole dancing is superb to watch, the girls are friendly (of course they offer private dances and tips, but what do you expect?), and the staff is fantastic (except for one bouncer who was a bit rough with a customer in my opinion, but oh well). It was my second time here and I had a blast both times. I highly recommend it for a fun, Amsterdam-style experience.

Absolute rip off! You pay 50 Euros to get in, but all you get for that is 4 trashy drinks. If you wanna see the show you have to pay 200 Euros more, otherwise you don‘t get to see anything. They don’t communicate this properly. On top of that the girls are really not worth it. The shows last for a few seconds. There‘s no better way in Amsterdam to waste your money faster than there.

This place is misogyny at a bus. They literally pushed me out the door because I was done with a girl. The girls are amazing. They don’t put out. And that’s what they like about it. It’s the red light district turning a corner and they hate everyone who comes in the way of that this place is terrible. Don’t go here.

A terrible place. You pay the entrance fee, then girls surround you and offer you other services with disgruntled expressions. A place you want to leave immediately.

It's nothing but a scam, don't go there, we went with my friend today and paid 30€ for the entrance, but upstairs they practically forced us to pay more. We were given 2 options, either a lap dance or doing whatever you want naked in a private room. The first one was 35€, the second one was 100€. And they forced us to choose one of these two options. My friend didn't want either of them, they forced us even more, then they told us to at least buy a drink. We paid 25€ for a tequila shot. In short, they are scammers, tourist hunters, useless creatures.

It was very new and unique experience especially with the banana service which you have to pay and enjoy 😉 I loved Celtia she was very geourgous and kissed me on the cheek three times and welcomed me and all the other ladies were treating me like a gentleman. Honestly just do not expect to site there and do nothing the place is full of energy and you have to let it role to enjoy. It is truely a different style strip club that you will never forget and find anywhere else.

You pay 50 euros to get in. Then they are rather aggressive in making you pay more, in this case by simply taking the card out of your hand and charging 150 euros to it unasked. A lot of money for nothing.

So much respect, I stopped by last year. Spent a bit too much money. Respect for keeping this up. I miss you, especially the atmosphere. I'll definitely come back, preferably in the winter. A cup of coffee, the ladies are unique. Never a dull moment.

Colleagues of mine had recommended this. They got here several years ago. Outside they advertise to drink two drinks for €30 and enjoy the show. Someone will come inside as soon as possible and ask for your money. Or you order a €25 drink for a lady. Either you order a lap dance or they are unfriendly. I just sat with a local group of friends and talked so the ladies wouldn't bother me anymore. After the two drinks it was immediately time to leave.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Total tourist trap now. 10 years ago was €50 entrance fee and free drinks for an hour and all the entertainment it is infamous for. Now €60 entrance with 4 drinks. No entertainment at all, unless you front €105 to a dancer for any kind of show. All the girls look bored and sat around. There is no atmosphere at all and just awkward. Me and partner finished our drinks quickly and left after 10 minutes. Total waste of money. Strip club was included and the same vibe. Avoid this place and I also wish I read the recent reviews.

First of all, €30 entry including 2 drinks is completely ok. That's what the star is for. However, things quickly become uncomfortable and un-relaxed inside. We actually wanted to sit down, enjoy the drinks and watch the dancers perform on the pole. However, there isn't much dancing there and at times you'll be cheekily and pushily asked to have a private lap dance. The ladies have no class and do not have the talent to communicate appropriately in a strip club. If you refuse several times, the ladies become unpleasant and ask you what you want there and curse. I've actually been to a few strip clubs in Europe, but I find €35 ​​for a 3-5 minute private lap dance in a public space close to other guests (not even in the private room) where not everything is shown to be cheeky. Not recommended! As you can see from the reviews, people have been complaining about totally annoying and pushy women for two years. Despite the owner repeatedly assuring that the team will be spoken to, nothing happens.

Yes, they're a bit seductive, but that's part of the job. The bar is a nice surprise: the prices are clearly affordable, like in any other classic bar, just with strippers on top. My review dates from 2023, I went there with a friend out of curiosity, a lot of forcing from the ladies when we arrived we were in the way but she made up for it with jokes, we enjoyed a public show by a talented dancer, I would not give a constructive opinion as this is a first experience for me..

Weekend in Amsterdam and thought we should go there too.. We were 4 and had opted for the banana bar for 65 euros per ticket, which they were very promising about at the cash register. Once inside, the ladies looked bored and were almost turned away before the hour was over and treated rudely. And you get scolded if you show a friend a photo (not taken there)... Also, a group of nice boys who wanted something to drink and, according to the bartender, had not put a glass back, were shouted at to "get the hell out" (as a disease word). Not normal. The atmosphere at the banana club upstairs was a little better, but I (we) will never go there again. Just a scam and horrible staff

We went to the bar part of 3, being French we were not very well accepted, the girls made comments in Dutch about us, but one of us speaks Dutch...(again French, they do shit... And others...) So it automatically gets cold... We are told that we have to pay to have services... In a somewhat oppressive way when the entrance is not give... We already wanted to see what it would look like... But apart from this bad side, the experience was nice, and would have been even more so if we had spent 200€ for the services of what we made us understand... This should have been made clear from the start because a lot of discomfort was present because of this... The place is not very big though...

I tried the 65 Euro banan show. Waste of money. Good only for group of five people at least, because you must pay extra 100 Euros or more for the show at the table otherwise nothing is happening. Boring atmosphere and fake tequila made me total hangover.

As many have said I wish I had read the reviews first. I visited 15 years ago and was great. Now not so much. The flashing lights and old videos on outside do not show the real inside and the lack of any payback for your 65 euros. Atmosphere is non existent and almost sleazy. No live entertainment unless you pay extra. You are left watching ladies walking around bored and un interested which is a shame as they want to earn money I guess. Many will fall into the trap and is a shame as they are allowed to continue. I cannot suggest another alternative

A tourist trap and a total scam! What you get sold at the door isn't what you receive inside. The biggest scam in Amsterdam! Unfortunately, you are probably reading this after going to the bar. If you are reading it before, then do not waste your money. A group of 5 of us went to the bar and chose the 65 euro a person option. We were sold this as 4 drinks for 1 hour with an included show from the girls inside, it sounded like a laugh. As soon as you step inside, you realise what a scam this is! A dingy, small room with 2 girls working. We sat on a table and got told to move, ok we went to another table, a girl comes over and says the show is now an extra 200 euro! Apparently, the 65 entry that was sold as the whole experience is now the bosses money and the show is extra. We turned down the show and instantly the dog rough girls turn into the rudest horrible people ever as they know whatever they say goes, as they have their big doormen to just throw you out. Safe to say, we left after only 2 of our drinks. Steer well clear of this tourist trap. 4 out of 5 of our group was sick after drinking in this place, which seems a bit weird also. Bad experience, unattractive girls with the ugliest attitude. You will be treated like rubbish unless you want to spend more money on things that you had already been promised. Bad business practice with limited time left, Amsterdam is just not that busy anymore.
