An unforgettable evening... thanks to Amanda! We came without really knowing what to expect... and we left with stars in our eyes (and a few less bills)! Entry is €30 with two drinks, which is totally within the standard price range. So for those who are complaining because they didn't get a free dance for that price: guys, it's a strip club, it's normal. And then there's Amanda. AMANDA. The queen. The goddess. The kind of woman you never forget, even if you live a thousand lives. She's gorgeous, elegant, and incredibly charismatic. She made our whole evening! A rare gem, as kind as she is sexy, a real show all on her own. A little tip: bring small bills, because there's no change here. But don't panic, there's an ATM inside, and if you get lost, the girls will guide you. The shows are truly beautiful to watch, well-executed, and not vulgar. Don't expect "+++" stuff like in the Red Light District windows; here, it's more subtle... but if you know how to ask, there might be a few surprises. In reality, the girls are super nice, approachable, but Amanda is really the best. We had a great laugh, there was no bad atmosphere, and frankly... that's rare. After paying 30€ per person, You will have to pay for people who work on the floor from the moment you enter. If not they do not let sit there in peace.We had one sip from the drink and left after paying 25€ for someone’s tequila we were forced to buy for them. Colleagues of mine had recommended this. They got here several years ago. Outside they advertise to drink two drinks for €30 and enjoy the show. Someone will come inside as soon as possible and ask for your money. Or you order a €25 drink for a lady. Either you order a lap dance or they are unfriendly. I just sat with a local group of friends and talked so the ladies wouldn't bother me anymore. After the two drinks it was immediately time to leave.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Total tourist trap now. 10 years ago was €50 entrance fee and free drinks for an hour and all the entertainment it is infamous for. Now €60 entrance with 4 drinks. No entertainment at all, unless you front €105 to a dancer for any kind of show. All the girls look bored and sat around. There is no atmosphere at all and just awkward. Me and partner finished our drinks quickly and left after 10 minutes. Total waste of money. Strip club was included and the same vibe. Avoid this place and I also wish I read the recent reviews.

First of all, €30 entry including 2 drinks is completely ok. That's what the star is for. However, things quickly become uncomfortable and un-relaxed inside. We actually wanted to sit down, enjoy the drinks and watch the dancers perform on the pole. However, there isn't much dancing there and at times you'll be cheekily and pushily asked to have a private lap dance. The ladies have no class and do not have the talent to communicate appropriately in a strip club. If you refuse several times, the ladies become unpleasant and ask you what you want there and curse. I've actually been to a few strip clubs in Europe, but I find €35 ​​for a 3-5 minute private lap dance in a public space close to other guests (not even in the private room) where not everything is shown to be cheeky. Not recommended! As you can see from the reviews, people have been complaining about totally annoying and pushy women for two years. Despite the owner repeatedly assuring that the team will be spoken to, nothing happens.

Entry at €30 per person with two free drinks, which is still reasonable. The club is nice, the atmosphere is pleasant and the girls are smiling. Yes, they're a bit seductive, but that's part of the job. The bar is a nice surprise: the prices are clearly affordable, like in any other classic bar, just with strippers on top. A fun evening to do if you like this kind of place!

Very nice experience! Was at the banana club with my girlfriend for her birthday. We were the first to receive a super hospitable welcome! Her wheelchair was sweetly put away and she was helped up the stairs. The girls were also very neat and nice. We saw very nice shows at the strip pole and there was a very nice atmosphere. I was there some days ago and I would say in my three days trip in Amsterdam this place was the only time I felt really unsafe.

Weekend in Amsterdam and thought we should go there too.. We were 4 and had opted for the banana bar for 65 euros per ticket, which they were very promising about at the cash register. Once inside, the ladies looked bored and were almost turned away before the hour was over and treated rudely. And you get scolded if you show a friend a photo (not taken there)... Also, a group of nice boys who wanted something to drink and, according to the bartender, had not put a glass back, were shouted at to "get the hell out" (as a disease word). Not normal. The atmosphere at the banana club upstairs was a little better, but I (we) will never go there again. Just a scam and horrible staff

We went to the bar part of 3, being French we were not very well accepted, the girls made comments in Dutch about us, but one of us speaks Dutch...(again French, they do shit... And others...) So it automatically gets cold... We are told that we have to pay to have services... In a somewhat oppressive way when the entrance is not give... We already wanted to see what it would look like... But apart from this bad side, the experience was nice, and would have been even more so if we had spent 200€ for the services of what we made us understand... This should have been made clear from the start because a lot of discomfort was present because of this... The place is not very big though...

I tried the 65 Euro banan show. Waste of money. Good only for group of five people at least, because you must pay extra 100 Euros or more for the show at the table otherwise nothing is happening. Boring atmosphere and fake tequila made me total hangover.

As many have said I wish I had read the reviews first. I visited 15 years ago and was great. Now not so much. The flashing lights and old videos on outside do not show the real inside and the lack of any payback for your 65 euros. Atmosphere is non existent and almost sleazy. No live entertainment unless you pay extra. You are left watching ladies walking around bored and un interested which is a shame as they want to earn money I guess. Many will fall into the trap and is a shame as they are allowed to continue. I cannot suggest another alternative

A tourist trap and a total scam! What you get sold at the door isn't what you receive inside. The biggest scam in Amsterdam! Unfortunately, you are probably reading this after going to the bar. If you are reading it before, then do not waste your money. A group of 5 of us went to the bar and chose the 65 euro a person option. We were sold this as 4 drinks for 1 hour with an included show from the girls inside, it sounded like a laugh. As soon as you step inside, you realise what a scam this is! A dingy, small room with 2 girls working. We sat on a table and got told to move, ok we went to another table, a girl comes over and says the show is now an extra 200 euro! Apparently, the 65 entry that was sold as the whole experience is now the bosses money and the show is extra. We turned down the show and instantly the dog rough girls turn into the rudest horrible people ever as they know whatever they say goes, as they have their big doormen to just throw you out. Safe to say, we left after only 2 of our drinks. Steer well clear of this tourist trap. 4 out of 5 of our group was sick after drinking in this place, which seems a bit weird also. Bad experience, unattractive girls with the ugliest attitude. You will be treated like rubbish unless you want to spend more money on things that you had already been promised. Bad business practice with limited time left, Amsterdam is just not that busy anymore.

No comment on this because i didn't try. ~5 euro for the pole dance tip (not required but if you don't pay for what you get you are a jerk) You can get changes at the front desk and get cash at their ATM (still, i recommend prepare some cash beforehand), so don't worry about paying extra not having coins. (Disclosure: i paid 36 instead because i ran out of 1 euro coin) The staffs looks intimidating and serious, but they responded nicely and make some jokes when i greeted them. I was welcomed by my girl immediately upon entering. We had a nice chat for a while and she explained the pricing. TBH i enjoy the interaction more then what I've got elsewhere. Yes it was out of no where being approached like this, but i don't feel awkward. And yes i was approached by another dancer quite rudely, but there was no awkwardness after rejecting with an apology. The lap dance feels a little short, but the interaction feels intimate and wonderful so who cares. I actually laughed a lot for some reason. Let's talk about the pole dance. Periodically there will be pole dancer performing for everyone. After the dance, the dancer may apprach you for tips, so don't expect come in and get free service. (Our dancer says accept US dollars, don't take this as granted for everyone though). The pole dance is, again, quite short, but beautiful. (Plus you are REALLY close to the dancer) Ending: Can you get cheaper lapdance in other places (or in the US)? Yes. Can you get the same girls elsewhere? No Pick your medicine. If you want to enjoy then come. If you don't want to pay then don't come. Respect the girls(and staffs) and respect their payments.

The place is crazy expensive for what it is. You really pay to have been to the Bananabar. 40 euro entrance and 35 for a lapdance... if you don't have cash, that will be 40 per lapdance because the ATM will only let you withdraw 40, IF it actually works. As soon as you come in, the girls will stalk you until you actually pay them for a lapdance. A friend felt like he had to tip one of them to leave him alone and have a drink first. All with all, it's not a very pleasant experience, and I'd recommend anyone who plans on going here to go to the La Vie en Proost bar instead. The only good thing about this place is that the poledancers were amazing.

We should have read the comments before going. We ended up choosing the 65€ offer for 1 hour however it was empty and girls looked a bit bored so there was no type of entertainment unless you pay extra for a show. The x4 drinks were strong and we had a wide selection. When the 60 minute were over we decided to go upstairs for strip club which was a completely different vibe. Music was better, girls were hotter and in a more cheerful mood. We had so much more fun and loved the experience!!

To avoid, very bad experience, I went with my boyfriend, entry already costs 40 euros with two drinks (beer or wine). When we got home we were stopped at least 4 times by strippers to do a lapdance or for a tip, they are very insistent and unpleasant if you say no they give you the finger. Frankly it was rubbish, I 100% advise against it, don't waste your time or your money, we left before even consuming the second drink.

40€ for Cover + 2 drinks of your choice . Beer , wine or soda .. once inside they only have 1 dancing ... while I was there about 2 girls danced withinh 1/hr for 5 minutes each .. Lao dances are 35€ per song ... I don't think this strip club is worth it .. you can watch do the same for free on the streets windows.

Extremely expensive for nothing

Everyone was super nice, until you paid and are actually inside. Ladies had a lot of talent but looked a bit sad. Advertised as 65 euros, and additionally you get a lady for 35 euros at your table. In stead, you pay a lot more for 6x short shows for €200 or 3x for €105. Bartenders were the biggest act. Wonder if they have any friends, given their limited social interaction skills.

Hello, the banana bar/club lets a man experience how annoying it can be when someone doesn't take no for an answer. I was asked about 10 times that evening if I wanted a lap dance for 35 euros. I then had to argue with several women until I was able to get rid of them. They then became very stroppy and tried again 30 minutes later. You barely have 3 minutes of peace before the next person asks. It was a very uncomfortable feeling in there. They also assaulted a woman in our group. When she got a lap dance, the employee there pulled down her top and bra so that everyone in the club could see her breasts. Unfortunately, the evening was the most disturbing in Amsterdam.

Maybe around 40m2. There is only one pole there and when we were there someone was dancing there maybe 1/3 of the time. Most of the time you only see the lap dance when someone pays.

The 65euro option requires at least another 100euros. This pricing scale is not made very clear anywhere other than these reviews. Bartender was very nice, and the drinks were strong. We paid 130euro for entry and another 140euro for a 4girl show for my partner and I. Fun show, steep price. Edit: Decided to risk it another night with the 40 euro option, the experience brought this down to a one out of five stars. Walk into the bar, and before we can even order drinks, a stripper latches on to us, we don’t get to look around, enjoy the show, or choose from the girls. She then proceeds to aggressively push lap dances to the point of being laughably excessive, think used car salesman on his last leg. This place is a huge tourist trap, and preying on people who don’t know better is the reason they can continue to exist with such a bad experience. Avoid this place.

Today we went to the Banana Club. First of all, we thought it was totally okay for €40 and two drinks. Then we were persistently begged for a lap dance, which we were supposed to get for €35. We got it as planned, even if it only took about 3 minutes. Afterwards we were asked to go into the private areas. Presumably without sexual intercourse, which is simply usury for €85. And I find it extremely disrespectful. When our group of three was just begged for the lap dance. Should one of us pay with card for everyone and one of us should pay cash for everyone. That's how these girls settled things. So we were deprived of at least one lap dance. When we didn't want any more drinks, we were allowed to sit in there for another 2 minutes and were then thrown out. Absolutely not recommended for tourists. Don't go there!!!!

People come here because of the four drinks for 65 euros each/per person entry. We read some reviews and decided to give it a try. Little did we know what we were in for or what this place was even about. I could get into a long review, but I will keep it short. Once you get inside you only have one hour, after that they kick you out. The place is super small to sit at, meaning they only have four tables, and the bathroom is shared. You are given drink coupons, and before you can get another drink, you have to bring your glass to the bar and turn in a ticket. The liquor drinks are not strong like other reviewers claim. When you sit down, you are informed of the additional show "packages" you MUST buy. This is a non-negotiable; you must/are required to buy an extra 100 - 300 euros. The show packages are all done in the common area of the bar itself. This place was completely empty! If there was a tourist trap of all tourist traps, this is it. If you read this review, stay far, far, far away unless you want to be bullied and throw money away.

There are better places. Entrance fee 50 EUR including 4 small mugs of Beer. 1 hour limit of staying. + Something good: Interesting games with vagina (banana, pen, postcard). Bite off 100 EUR bananas. - It's get better: One pays for the dance, others watch. Private dance in the back possible. On average only 3 to 4 dancers present. Banana Bar usually has fewer visitors. Not really recommend.

Would give it 0 stars if possible. Payed to get in to pay for a friend to get the “banana” treatment and was meat with lap dance for every man. No shame to the ladies in there, but we did not pay for a lap dance each. They are beautiful ladies as a woman, but again, not what we thought we were paying for.

Ich und meine Freundin waren im Oktober dort. Nachdem wir so ziemlich alles im Rotlichtviertel gesehen hatten stand zum Abschluss noch die Bananen Bar an. Wir waren wegen der teils schlechten Rezensionen unsicher ob wir uns das antun sollen, sagten uns aber auch das man manchmal auch ein Risiko eingehen muss. Und was soll ich sagen: wir hatten Spaß! Der Herr am Eingang erklärte uns mit Geduld und völlig ohne Zeitdruck was uns erwartet und was es kostet. In der Bar selbst war nicht so viel Publikum, was wir aber als total angenehm empfunden haben. Die Damen haben uns eingeladen bei ihnen zu sitzen und uns zu erklären was es gegen entsprechendes Honorar zu sehen gibt. Wir haben uns für eine Facemassage,eine auf besondere Art und Weise geschriebene Postkarte und die "Sache mit der Banane" entschieden. Die Facemassage und die Postkarte hab ich meiner Freundin geschenkt, von der Banane hatten wir beide was😁 Wenn sich hier die Leute wegen den Preisen aufregen kann ich das nicht verstehen. Würdet Ihr EURE Körper für billiger verkaufen? Dann macht doch selbst 'ne Bar auf. Uns hat's jedenfalls gefallen und wir sind froh dort gewesen zu sein.

Personally had the best time there. 1st night we went to the bar and second night we did the club. Barry was a good laugh when you enter and yes when you get inside the girls do approach you but you are in a strip club which surely is to be expected. In terms of value for money you have to expect to pay to enter/above going rate for a drink, other option is go to a normal bar, i didnt think either were too extravagant. The calibre of girls was the best i have seen in my opinion and as for the security i barely realised they were there, other than seeing them stood as you would expect them to be. They were also in charge of collecting any card payments which is to be expected and they were all very pleasant when doing so. my preference was the club just because I was accompanied by one girl Valeria for the duration and she was UNREAL!!!!!. Will definitely be back, hopefully sooner than later! Praying she will be there again too….

Yeah... u know why u go there... after a few years this is still a tradition though there is much better. A must visit ^^

As soon as you go upstairs, you're straight into the room. It can feel a bit intimidating as there's no space to sit and enjoy a drink or the experience. My partner and I did however enjoy our private experience with Sara. A beautiful Spanish lady who was very polite, welcoming, accepting of us being gay and checked we were both comfortable the entire time.
