I have been drinking in this bar for more years than I like to remember. That tells you something 😎 A fair selection of drinks, friendly, efficient staff and every genre of "Rock" music you can imagine.. nice terrace by a canal.. What's not to like 😎

A very pleasant place, with decor that fits the theme of the bar and good music. The prices are reasonable for its location (central Amsterdam, an expensive city in itself), and the staff's service was first-rate. We chatted for a while, and I found them to be very friendly and helpful.

We loved this bar! The terrace is very pleasant, on the banks of the Amstel... the decor in the bar is typical (photos and guitars of great rock music icons). The waiters are really friendly.

Wine glass and beer glass were too dirty. Still with the lipstick stains from previous customer. I asked them to change it but the new one was also disgusting. Waitress was so rude. Go somewhere else.

Please don’t use this place. Just for toilet :))) nachos 6.5 euro for the worse nachos I ever had. I think Amsterdam is not for food. The only good food we found is outside central Amsterdam.

On September my boyfriend and I decide to go drink around Amsterdam and we arrived this place, we sited on the terrace nearby the canal, the place was so tight, we could touch the customers on the other tables. Talking about the drinks, I was looking for a pornstar martini, I asked to one of the waiters and he’s answer was “sorry we can not change the mix of the cocktail, is coming from the draft” when I look for a cocktail I would like to have a fresh made on the moment, and they charged 16€ for this small juice from the draft. Definitely we won’t come back here. Don’t lose your money.

A bar scam, a cocktail without any preparation and very expensive, they charge you to use the bathroom even if you are drinking and the waiter is very unfriendly.

Extortion. Overpriced drinks, even for the area, and then they charge you for using the bathroom. Avoid! Anywhere nearby is a better atmosphere too.

The music is great and the server was friendly to us. But when I tried to use the restroom there was a guy charging 1€ for it. I explained that I was drinking at the bar and as a paying customer I should be able to use the toilet. But he didn’t allow me saying that the cost to use the toilet has nothing to do with the bar. How is that even possible! That forced me out of the bar and I’ll never go there again.

Stopped here with a friend for beers and some rock music. Playlist was fine, good seating area outside and inside some cool signed guitars. Beer options on tap is limited but good and ok priced. The one thing that really annoyed me about this place is the fact that if you want to use the bathroom you have to pay. Even if you’re consuming beers as a customer. That’s just ludicrous, considering the more beer you drink the higher the need to to to a bathroom, so with this, you’re forced to leave the place and go drink somewhere else because you have to use the bathroom. Suggestion to management: don’t be stingy. Let customers who buy drinks or beers and consume a minimum of 6 euros to use the bathroom free of charge. It’s the minimum you can offer your customers in termos of hospitality.

Place with poor service. We ordered a beer and before taking the first sip the attendant arrived with the card machine charging us. I saw that at the next table, 5 people were going to pay the bill and she said it would be easier for them not to split it and pay on a single card. In other words, very poor service that does not aim for a good customer experience. On the other hand, great location and good beer, although it was expensive.

High prices and the bartender forgot the rest. He was too high. I don't recommend it at all

We are rock fans and wanted to drink some beer to some good music. Unfortunately the music choice was not really good. The prices are really high.

I vacationed in Amsterdam and my wife and I came here repeatedly. It wouldn’t seem like a noteworthy place, but the view, service and atmosphere were top notch. A great place to go to relax with a pint of Heineken

Good bar, good music, and delicious drinks. The price is okay (in Berlin Mitte it is sometimes more expensive) great service and nice staff.

Really great here, our waitress with the blond green hair was mega nice, totally friendly. It is located on the canal and is cozy. The prices are completely okay for Amsterdam City - you have to keep in mind that it is a tourist run-up here. We loved it.

My two friends and I wanted to use the bathroom, they said we needed to buy something so I ordered a sprite. when we came out, they said “this isn’t a McDonald’s, you and all your friends can’t use the bathroom for buying just a sprite”. the sprite was SIX EUROS, more expensive than it’d be to use a public bathroom. The sprite was also completely flat.

This was the 2nd Hard Rock Cafe in the world, but was bought out some years ago. Still has the original rock vibe and cool memorabilia on the walls.

Not bad but way too expensive... 14€ for 2 drinks (a normal soft and a simple beer) for a place where we can just drink is a bit pricey for me. Service was ok, not to my liking but its there.

The coffee shop staff are rude and racist.

Bad experience, consumed 2 cokes and two fruit juices with a bill of 24 euros and so far it's good I have seen the prices but the problem comes when antipathy, rudeness and aggression takes over then the bill is absolutely not justified. Not recommended!

Terribly bad service, I have never experienced this before. Ordered three drinks at the bar and paid, later the bartender came to me to say that I had to pay even more. I showed my receipt for €24, he indicated that it was not good and I had to pay more. The bartender was very aggressive and threatening, so I paid the €7 extra because I thought he would otherwise use physical aggression. Very strange, I will never come here again. I don't feel safe in this bar.

It’s a quaint rock bar that is filled with rock band collection that dates back to the golden age of rock and roll. This establishment has been in the location for 35 years and was one of the first establishment in the city that entertains to the rock and roll field. On top of that, It is situated at a building that is built in the 1600s. Services are supreb, consider the fact that chatted with a few of the service members and they have been actively helping in the effort in the war that is ongoing - truly a great social enterprise. 🇺🇦 All in all, this a nice place that enjoys a great pocket of sunshine, look out for manager Roki, a organge cat that claims the dominance of this space, but don’t worry , he often grants you a head rub if you treat him friendly. All in all , it’s Amsterdam city centre, you are going to pay a premium for the cannel view and the location speaks for it.

Nice authentic rock bar right in the center of Amsterdam. Barman is very welcoming and chill guy. There is also a small exhibition of genuine rockstars' guitars!
