Had a lovely couple of drinks on the banks of a canal. Good service and a decent selection of beers. Great location.

This bar is truly beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and every detail feels thoughtfully put together. What really makes it special though is the service. Our server, Alina, was attentive without being intrusive, genuinely friendly, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. She gave us spot on recommendations for both drinks and food, and her energy and warmth made the whole visit feel special. If you’re looking for a beautiful bar with great service, ask for Alina when you go. Highly recommend!

The drinks were really good, honestly! 🍹 Just keep in mind they don’t really serve food, only some snacks/appetizers like nachos and cheese bites. If you’re looking for a spot to sit outside, enjoy the weather, have a drink and chill right next to the canal, this is definitely a great spot. The location and atmosphere make it worth it! ✨

Fantastic bar both inside and outside!!

The bar only uses one glass size and doesn't work with small bottles of soda. Only Spa Red, for which you don't get a glass. The price-quality ratio is really not right. Additionally, the toilet is very dirty.

Alina and Alena are very friendly, open and professional people who are good listeners and good friends (psychologists)! I believe that their energy constantly brings people back to the institution, where clients believe and feel at home!

Location is as good as it can be next to the canal. Perfect Amsterdam vibes. But what makes this place great is Alina, manager. Alina was super friendly and was extremely helpful when one of us felt sick. No irritation, no judgement rather helped us with a big smile. Thank you Alina.

Enjoy your beer or cocktail on the terrace, which offers a pure 17th-century atmosphere and wonderful canal views. It's also smokers-friendly, which might be a plus. You can't consume weed and alcohol together in coffeeshops, but it's possible here.

Finally, some good and loud music is playing here, but it's a bit too expensive.

The terrace right on the canal is very cozy. We were a group of 14 and were wonderfully looked after by Alina, the best waitress in town, with cold drinks. Even though the terrace was full, she didn't lose her sense of humor! Thank you, Alina!

Less friendly than back home in Paris, believe it or not! I speak English as best I can, and frankly, my level isn't bad for a French person, yet I'm spoken to rudely. It might be a great place for locals, but tourists, I advise you to steer clear. I'm giving it two stars for the ambiance and the beer, which was good.

We sat by the canal to enjoy the sunshine. We ordered nachos with cranberry and pine apple. Unfortunately, the drinks were a bit sparse because there was too much ice. The cocktails were expensive, which is normal for a tourist spot, but we preferred to drink them elsewhere anyway. The nachos were good. They met our expectations.

Really lovely spot! They were kind enough to let us sit outside (which is beautiful, clean, and peaceful) when other bars wouldn’t because we had takeaway foods. The bartender suggested a great beer and made the whole experience super comfortable. Big thanks to him for the hospitality; and shoutout to Rocky the cat for keeping my girlfriend entertained. Perfect vibe all around!

A little bar by the canal. Not particularly luxurious or quirky. Just standard. Uncomfortable chairs because they are metal and cut you off mid back.

Extortionate prices. €10.50 for 500ml IPA is a bit much and the atmosphere isn’t anything special apart from being next to a canal.

The first time I paid €3 too much, the second time I paid €3 less. As a Dutch person, I don't like being ripped off for €3 by a foreign entrepreneur! Shame on you, there will be consequences!

Absolutely not recommended! The waiter was extremely disrespectful, shouted at us, and even tried to get physical. Such behavior is unacceptable. There are many great places in Amsterdam, but this is definitely not one of them.

I came to your bar around 3:45 PM on August 17th. A dark-skinned man, between 25 and 30 years old. I think he's from India or Pakistan. He could also be Iranian. He was extremely rude to us. As I was trying to order in English, my friend next to me told me what he wanted in German, and your employee started yelling at us, saying, "This is the Netherlands, we speak English here." We were shocked. We said we were just talking amongst ourselves. Despite that, he continued yelling. We paid the bill to be polite and sat down. But he continued to work, making noises. Please take action against this person. I will not recommend this place to anyone as long as this employee is here.

Friendly service, a great atmosphere, and good music that you can hear over the crowd (we sat outside by the water). The prices are absolutely reasonable. Of course, you didn't have to pay extra for the restroom if you ordered something there.

Don’t bother going. Staff are extremely rude. My wife and I came up to the door which had staff members stood in the way, we politely asked if we could come in for a drink to which the lady shrugged and let us pass, then we heard her say to her colleague “there’s English inside” - in a rude tone. I asked for a Grolsch, which of course is a popular Dutch beer, to which she said “what” as if it didn’t exist. Her manor and tone which so unwelcoming, extremely rude and seriously unprofessional. Never experienced anything like it. Such a let down after we’ve had nothing but the nicest and warmest welcomes from Dutch people since arriving. Don’t spend your money here!
