Really lovely spot! They were kind enough to let us sit outside (which is beautiful, clean, and peaceful) when other bars wouldn’t because we had takeaway foods. The bartender suggested a great beer and made the whole experience super comfortable. Big thanks to him for the hospitality; and shoutout to Rocky the cat for keeping my girlfriend entertained. Perfect vibe all around!

A little bar by the canal. Not particularly luxurious or quirky. Just standard. Uncomfortable chairs because they are metal and cut you off mid back.

Went here after a day out. Asked for a beer the keg was out and instead of asking do you mind if I change it or do you want something else she stormed off after the biggest sigh. Would not recommend this place at all. Absolute awful staff member. Can’t say what I would say to my mates

Extortionate prices. €10.50 for 500ml IPA is a bit much and the atmosphere isn’t anything special apart from being next to a canal.

Absolutely not recommended! The waiter was extremely disrespectful, shouted at us, and even tried to get physical. Such behavior is unacceptable. There are many great places in Amsterdam, but this is definitely not one of them.

I came to your bar around 3:45 PM on August 17th. A dark-skinned man, between 25 and 30 years old. I think he's from India or Pakistan. He could also be Iranian. He was extremely rude to us. As I was trying to order in English, my friend next to me told me what he wanted in German, and your employee started yelling at us, saying, "This is the Netherlands, we speak English here." We were shocked. We said we were just talking amongst ourselves. Despite that, he continued yelling. We paid the bill to be polite and sat down. But he continued to work, making noises. Please take action against this person. I will not recommend this place to anyone as long as this employee is here.

Friendly service, a great atmosphere, and good music that you can hear over the crowd (we sat outside by the water). The prices are absolutely reasonable. Of course, you didn't have to pay extra for the restroom if you ordered something there.

Don’t bother going. Staff are extremely rude. My wife and I came up to the door which had staff members stood in the way, we politely asked if we could come in for a drink to which the lady shrugged and let us pass, then we heard her say to her colleague “there’s English inside” - in a rude tone. I asked for a Grolsch, which of course is a popular Dutch beer, to which she said “what” as if it didn’t exist. Her manor and tone which so unwelcoming, extremely rude and seriously unprofessional. Never experienced anything like it. Such a let down after we’ve had nothing but the nicest and warmest welcomes from Dutch people since arriving. Don’t spend your money here!

Lovely spot by the canal. Drinks a little overpriced but didn’t mind too much as right by the water. Not the greatest aperol spritz. Strawberry daiquiri was nice. Most the staff friendly but the girl was quite rude and abrupt. Other reviewers saying they were charged to use the toilet but we used it two nights in a row quite a few times between us free of charge

A very pleasant place, with decor that fits the theme of the bar and good music. The prices are reasonable for its location (central Amsterdam, an expensive city in itself), and the staff's service was first-rate. We chatted for a while, and I found them to be very friendly and helpful.

We loved this bar! The terrace is very pleasant, on the banks of the Amstel... the decor in the bar is typical (photos and guitars of great rock music icons). The waiters are really friendly.

Please don’t use this place. Just for toilet :))) nachos 6.5 euro for the worse nachos I ever had. I think Amsterdam is not for food. The only good food we found is outside central Amsterdam.

On September my boyfriend and I decide to go drink around Amsterdam and we arrived this place, we sited on the terrace nearby the canal, the place was so tight, we could touch the customers on the other tables. Talking about the drinks, I was looking for a pornstar martini, I asked to one of the waiters and he’s answer was “sorry we can not change the mix of the cocktail, is coming from the draft” when I look for a cocktail I would like to have a fresh made on the moment, and they charged 16€ for this small juice from the draft. Definitely we won’t come back here. Don’t lose your money.

A bar scam, a cocktail without any preparation and very expensive, they charge you to use the bathroom even if you are drinking and the waiter is very unfriendly.

Extortion. Overpriced drinks, even for the area, and then they charge you for using the bathroom. Avoid! Anywhere nearby is a better atmosphere too.

The music is great and the server was friendly to us. But when I tried to use the restroom there was a guy charging 1€ for it. I explained that I was drinking at the bar and as a paying customer I should be able to use the toilet. But he didn’t allow me saying that the cost to use the toilet has nothing to do with the bar. How is that even possible! That forced me out of the bar and I’ll never go there again.

Stopped here with a friend for beers and some rock music. Playlist was fine, good seating area outside and inside some cool signed guitars. Beer options on tap is limited but good and ok priced. The one thing that really annoyed me about this place is the fact that if you want to use the bathroom you have to pay. Even if you’re consuming beers as a customer. That’s just ludicrous, considering the more beer you drink the higher the need to to to a bathroom, so with this, you’re forced to leave the place and go drink somewhere else because you have to use the bathroom. Suggestion to management: don’t be stingy. Let customers who buy drinks or beers and consume a minimum of 6 euros to use the bathroom free of charge. It’s the minimum you can offer your customers in termos of hospitality.

Place with poor service. We ordered a beer and before taking the first sip the attendant arrived with the card machine charging us. I saw that at the next table, 5 people were going to pay the bill and she said it would be easier for them not to split it and pay on a single card. In other words, very poor service that does not aim for a good customer experience. On the other hand, great location and good beer, although it was expensive.

We are rock fans and wanted to drink some beer to some good music. Unfortunately the music choice was not really good. The prices are really high.

I vacationed in Amsterdam and my wife and I came here repeatedly. It wouldn’t seem like a noteworthy place, but the view, service and atmosphere were top notch. A great place to go to relax with a pint of Heineken

Really great here, our waitress with the blond green hair was mega nice, totally friendly. It is located on the canal and is cozy. The prices are completely okay for Amsterdam City - you have to keep in mind that it is a tourist run-up here. We loved it.

My two friends and I wanted to use the bathroom, they said we needed to buy something so I ordered a sprite. when we came out, they said “this isn’t a McDonald’s, you and all your friends can’t use the bathroom for buying just a sprite”. the sprite was SIX EUROS, more expensive than it’d be to use a public bathroom. The sprite was also completely flat.
