The rice was dry. The chicken in the chicken soup was a bit bland. The tomato soup tasted like pasta sauce. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Dessert was delicious. We had a lovely evening.

I recently went here for a three-course dinner through the Social Deal, and it was a great experience. It's a lovely restaurant, the service is friendly, and the dishes were delicious and just the right size. I'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend eating here.

Today we went to the Autumn Market in Nunspeet. The fair was also very nice and we had a nice lunch at Banka, which was very good.

With a Social Deal, the three of us had a delicious meal in a pleasant atmosphere at a great price.

We had a lovely meal here. Friendly staff, fast service. The veal schnitzel was a bit dry, and a few more vegetables would have been nice, as there were very few. Parking is also nearby. All in all, highly recommended.

The carpaccio sandwich was actually quite good! Unfortunately, for €14.90 you get two slices of bread stacked diagonally, which seemed like a lot, but for one slice with toppings... I had one slice with carpaccio and one without. The bread was nice and fresh, though. Too bad, that wasn't my intention!🫣

The food was good. Too expensive. The service was a bit impatient.

We had a wonderful meal; everything on the table was fantastic. I had arranged a surprise for my wife, which the staff handled very well.

It's strange that this has a low rating. The service is excellent. Gluten-free bread with tuna salad and a rich, fresh garnish. The house omelette is the same story. They don't skimp in the kitchen here. We'll definitely be back.

What a lovely waitress she was. She communicated very well. We had delicious apple pie with coffee. It was nice that I could have a glass of water with it. A beautiful view of the square with the fountains. In short, a wonderful experience.

Ik heb eigenlijk maar 1 vraag aan de eigenaar van Banka Nunspeet: Ik kom al jaren bij Banka. Ook bij Banka Hattem kwam ik graag. Gisteren waren wij weer in Nunspeet. Altijd verheug ik mij op een hapje bij jullie. Ik kwam met een SocialDeal. We kunnen dan alles kiezen van de kaart. Niet heel lang geleden betaalde je alleen voor de wat luxere keuzes een kleine meerprijs. De kleine meerprijs is inmiddels vervangen voor een hoger toeslag. Maar nu ook voor de standaard hoofdgerechten. Nu betaalde je voor een schnitzel met een klein bakje saus liefst € 7 euro extra. Ook voor een zalmpje. Met alle plussen en minnen ben je nu met een SocialDeal niet goedkoper uit (gisteren betaalden we € 35 euro p.p.). Waarom is dit? Waarom niet een hoger bedrag voor een SocialDeal?

Small portions, that's what you can expect here. These pretenses don't really match the restaurant it actually is. A bit of a shame, because you can sit comfortably inside. The terrace should have been smoke-free.

We wilde lekker gaan lunchen, maar toen we de prijzen zagen, 1 kroket + brood voor 9,90 hebben we alleen drinken besteld. Niet goed op de kaart gekeken maar 1 westmalle tripel voor 8,50 is schandalige afzetterij. Dit betaal je nog lang niet in b.v Amsterdam. Tip. Vermijd deze tent!!!

Jul. 2025: Banka thrives on its terrace right across from the market square in the heart of Nunspeet. But I find €4.25 for a measly bottle of Grolsch 0.0 absolutely ridiculous. The four of us ended up paying €17. They did come with a free bowl of savory appetizer mix, which makes it 3 stars instead of 2.

Nice location on a small square, but very slow service and €6.50 for a bottle of non-alcoholic beer is really steep for a village on the Veluwe

On a beautiful summer day, this terrace is delightful. Children play in the fountain next to the terrace. The service is prompt and friendly. The piri-piri chicken sandwich was delicious and certainly not underdone.

Unfortunately, the pushy staff immediately offered a sandwich upon arrival. The food was good, but the staff seemed a bit unimpressed and lacked any enthusiasm. The restaurant was quite expensive.

Via Social Deal at the end of the Saturday afternoon in June we had a lovely meal outside at a beautiful market in the heart of Nunspeet. For about EUR 30,- p.p. a 3-course menu + drinks (then it has to be paid again). The beef burger was delicious.

A nice, friendly and pleasant restaurant in the middle of Nunspeet. Delicious food and especially when the weather is nice, it is a pleasure to be pampered outside on the terrace. Delicious...

Cozy place with friendly staff and the food was good. It is highly recommended.

Thought we'd have a nice meal out this afternoon. It took more than fifteen minutes before a waitress came. Ordered 2 drinks and asked for the menu. Drinks were served quickly. After 35 minutes we still didn't have a menu. Waitresses walked past and made as little eye contact as possible. Perhaps enormous workload. After 45 minutes my partner called out to the waitress who walked past us again and we asked to pay. She asked if everything was to our liking. Our answer was No, we also indicated why. Other people from other tables walked to the restaurant across the street in the meantime. I just went home and ate a salmon sandwich. Too bad, all this. Service is not worth a star

Almost €7,- per glass for an average wine is not in proportion. Menu taken via social deal, for all starters of meat and fish there is a surcharge of application. Also for a number of desserts there is a surcharge of application despite the fact that there is no price difference between these desserts. A bit strange how this was achieved.

The food is good and the promotions are commensurate with the price. However, the waiting time is far too long. This is the second time we have experienced this: people who arrived 30 minutes after us first got something to eat, ate it and left, while we were still waiting. I don't recommend it!!!

Banka can be found on a square in the middle of the village. The sun shines brightly on the terrace and it is a pleasant place to be. Atmospheric restaurant and the service is super friendly and the service is TOP 😉!

Via Social Deal hier gaan lunchen. Bediending was oplettend en vriendelijk. Maar de wachttijden waren veel te lang. Ruim een uur moeten wachten op een klein kommetje soep met twee halve sneetjes brood is van de zotte. Daarna duurt het weer minstens 45 minuten voordat onze al bij aankomst bestelde broodje arriveert. En dat kiezen we maar omdat het gevraagde broodje al niet meer verkrijgbaar is op een normale lunchtijd. Broodje wat we daarvoor in de plaats krijgen, is ook nog eens maar deels belegd. Soep was goed van smaak; broodje wat minder maar oké. De normale prijzen zijn veel te hoog voor wat geboden wordt en drankjes ook nog eens aan de dure kant. Terras wel prettig; zowel zon als schaduwplekken.

We hebben lekker gegeten van ons drie gangendiner via S.D. De normale prijzen is het eten echt niet waard. Bediening was drama. Na een uur hadden we een voorgerecht en daarna waren ze ons vergeten (zoals veel gasten op terras) en duurde het een uur en kwartier voor het hoofdgerecht kwam. Op tafel naast ons werd ook flink geklaagd. Personeel liep weinig geïnteresseerd in de gasten rond. Als we zelf niet het nagerecht waren gaan halen hadden we er de hele nacht waarschijnlijk gezeten. Advies: loop er langs en zoek een ander leuk restaurant in Nunspeet.

Zeldzaam slechte bediening (en wij zijn als Amsterdammers toch echt wel wat gewend) pittig geprijsde drankjes en karig broodplankje. Geen aanrader deze tent.

Had a lovely lunch with colleagues in a place with a nice atmosphere, but it took quite a while before the order was taken. I also didn't have to ask if anyone wanted something to drink, secretly glad that didn't happen because what a lot of money for a glass of soft drink. One person in service is really not enough.

Hier nooit meer! Veel te lang wachten op je eten, bediening is zéér slecht, en uiteindelijk betaal je véél te véél voor wat je krijgt. Super slecht deze tent.

Zeer slechte bediening, zeer lang moeten wachten op je eten. Na 1 uur pas het voorgerecht, hierna weer een uur moeten wachten op het hoofdgerecht, en als klap op de vuurpijl na ongeveer een half uur slechts 1 dessert geleverd. Het andere dessert maar geschonken aan de kok, als blijk voor het harde werken (grapje)

Making a cup of coffee is too difficult for them. If you order a cappuccino you will be served it cold and with a dirty saucer. Waitress says it doesn't matter anyway. Well, for the prices you charge, I expect better service! This isn't the first time it's been so bad, but after this time I decided to post a review!

We had to wait a very long time for our sandwiches and the empty plates were not removed for a long time. Fortunately, the food was worth the wait.

Went for lunch with a friend. We ordered soup and a sandwich. The mustard soup was cold and with salmon which I had not ordered, the tomato soup was cold and the balls in it completely. We both had a sandwich with steak tips and again this was also cold. The taste is good, but serve it cold....the waitress didn't understand how it was possible, and neither did I🙄. A disappointment and not worth repeating.

Gezellige ambiance met dito terras en een aardige bediening. De soep werd geserveerd met 2 stukjes brood met knapperige korst. De sneetjes brood waren ruim belegd en op temperatuur. We hadden een Social Deal bon maar dat maakte qua grote van het gerecht niet uit.

We are not from Nunspeet ourselves and looked for a restaurant where you could also dine afterwards. The site states that it is open until approximately 00:00. When we entered it was pleasantly busy and there was a good atmosphere. We thought the food we ordered was fantastic! It's been a long time since we had such a delicious meal. Really very satisfied. What we found very unfortunate is that at half past eight we were almost the only ones in the restaurant and closing tasks were being done. Guests who wanted to have a drink were referred to another place because they were about to close. We found the staff very friendly, but this was a downside on a Saturday evening.

You have to ask them for help. And what prices...a cassis is 4.50!! Went completely crazy!

No reception upon entry. We were waiting for staff for at least 5 minutes. Finally a cook came and said; Just sit down somewhere and someone will join you shortly. Food was tasteless and cold. Tapenade was like tomato paste. Chicken thigh was an indefinable piece of something. Hamburger was cold and we missed raw vegetables, bacon and cheddar. Price-quality ratio really bad. We have been coming here for years and were not used to this before. Unfortunately not worth repeating.

Had never been to Nunspeet, let alone eaten there. Ended up here because I got it as a gift. Welcomed by a waitress, who asked to wait for a colleague, because apparently she was not allowed to seat someone herself. That wait took a while. Take the carpaccio first. Was good in itself. Strange that it was served with pumpkin seeds and was missing some sour. Capers are apparently out, but oh so delicious. Had the tenderloin steak as a main course. Well, I wasn't expecting wagyu quality, but it wasn't that good! Weird taste and served with the worst vegetable you can imagine, namely Brussels sprouts! Fries were the tastiest! Had tiramisu for dessert. Apparently only Italians can prepare this well. This one was quite massive, but they did their best, so to speak :) The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant was quite nice. Beautiful fake fireplace on a screen. Personally, I would like to break open that wall near the kitchen, so that you have a good view of the kitchen, which makes it even more fun. Conclusion: price/quality ratio is skewed.

Prijs - kwaliteit is niet in verhouding. €10,- voor een simpele, lauwe, kaas tosti met plastic zakjes saus. Broodje kip met vooral veel chilisaus (broodje was doorweekt) voor €15,-. Mensen zijn aardig hoor en de ambiance is gezellig, maar vanwege de prijzen lopen wij voortaan een stukje door.

The food is mediocre for the price. And it was not explained what seasonal vegetables were served with it. Brussels sprouts brrrr When this was said to the waiting staff they said they didn't know either. I think this is a shame and I didn't feel involved. I thought it was an excellent opportunity to respond to this, but unfortunately no action was taken. Truly a missed opportunity. For what we had to pay, I thought what we were served was very mediocre. Too bad, but we certainly won't be coming again.

Had a delicious meal last night. The staff deserves a big compliment. Just stand there, with only 1 employee in the service and 1 employee in the kitchen and still remain attentive and friendly to the guests present (approximately 35). We wanted to go to the terrace today, but the employee turned us away because we only came for a drink. I don't find this acceptable at all!!🤬

The atmosphere in the restaurant is fine, but the price/quality ratio is really bad. The dishes are very expensive (€14 for bread with croquettes?) and what you get served is quite sad. A croque monsieur, according to the menu 'with ham and cheese and cheese sauce au gratin', is in reality 4 half slices of bread with paturain and a slice of cheese melted over it. The cheese sauce and ham were nowhere to be seen. We were told that this was their version, but this dish does not match what is on the menu. Paid almost €11 for this. The ladies serving were nice, but other than that things didn't go well at all. We always had to wait a long time and orders from others ended up at our place. Our neighboring table wished us luck as they left. So here too for the future customers of this place; courage!

Delicious lunch. Zwolle mustard soup with salmon is highly recommended. I had a smoked salmon sandwich and my husband had a Banka bouncer. Was very tasty. I think the drinks are quite pricey, €4.25 for a small bottle of Rivella.

Could be 4 stars. But... Been there twice within 5 days. The first time it was 3 to 4 stars. Ate mussels. Were ok. Not high end but ok. Mayo and remoulade sauces. Oh well. Beer €7.50. Oh ha... Been there again today. Same dish. They were bad. Really bad. Just mayo with the mussels. Add salt to the broth. Shells appear to have been warmly bathed in them. They were closed, half-baked. Not cooked, bathed. Nothing to be seen from the service. So there is no way to point that out. A girl came by to settle the bill and couldn't do anything with the complaint. Neither in Dutch, English or German. She didn't even go to the kitchen to ask. I haven't eaten such bad mussels in 50 years. And I've never experienced service like this before. First visit was okay. The second just to get used to.

Had a cappuccino that was lukewarm, got a euro discount, but still paid €7.60, scandalous, and it took 45 minutes for us to have that lukewarm porridge.

Dishes are mediocre at best and really at very overpriced prices. Service quite overwhelmed and clueless but initially quite nice. Until we asked whether there was still a taxi available at that time, the waiter ordered one for us and asked us to pay the money in cash in advance. After more than an hour, still no taxi in sight, the shop was closed, the lights were turned off and the staff was over the moon. And for a ridiculous €40… sad scam

Had lunch today via Social Deal. Ordered at 12.45, we received our soup at 13.00. Then our drink. However, it was not until 3 p.m. (!!!) that our sandwich arrived. Without cutlery, so we waited a while and finally brought in the cutlery ourselves. We could go again at 3.30 pm. They were clearly far too busy. 2 stars for the location.

We asked the waiters if we could still get a taxi here, then they ordered a “prepaid” one for us and, after we gave them cash (because we supposedly had to pay for it via our cell phone), assured us that they were waiting until the taxi arrives. Of course they disappeared nicely through the back exit - for a measly 40€😂 Service in front was great, cleverly done, but very unnecessary and embarrassing, prices for the food are out of this world, 26€ for a schnitzel, just the schnitzel.

The coffee is OK, but not good. We found the service to be extremely slow and inattentive. We had to ask several times and wait about 40 minutes to pay.

Ordered 2 farmer's sandwiches and 2 cappuccinos on the terrace this afternoon. This took a long time and people who came after us got their drinks earlier. Anyway, the sandwiches were half cold and had therefore been sitting for some time, which happens often. When we had to pay we almost fell off our chairs, 27.50!!!!! 2 TOST's AND 2 CAPPUCCINO's yes you read it right, outrageous!!!!

Actually nothing positive to report. Long wait for staff. You don't see or hear them, so you can't order anything in terms of drinks. Cutlery is apparently a favor because you get your food without cutlery, if you ask for it you can just get rid of it with a pffff yes. The food looks more like microwave food than freshly prepared.

Had lunch on Saturday 9/21 with "Banka bouncer" and "Banka 12 hours" and a loose croquette for my daughter. I suspect that the kitchen prepares the dishes faster than they can be served, because everything was fairly lukewarm (including the coffee). My daughter only wanted a loose croquette without bread and lettuce. Now €9.90 for one croquette with 2 slices of bread and some lettuce is already quite expensive, but when I paid I paid almost €10.00 for a single croquette! You can also want to earn too much! In addition, some staff members do not know Dutch, but also do not understand the English language. My daughter ordered chocolate milk with whipped cream, but it came without whipped cream. The waitress asked if we could still get the whipped cream, but she did not understand Dutch. The English "cream" and "whipped cream" also meant nothing to her. Called another waitress and she still brought whipped cream. In short, with that service and prices (€9.90 for a single croquette) they will not see us here again. Been here before (from Harderwijk) but this was the last time!

We ordered and reserved a 3-course menu via social deal on September 20 at 5:30 PM. We took a table on the terrace. There were 3 ladies serving at the time. In the beginning you could still see them on the terrace and ordering drinks and food. It took a while before the soup came, but then the ladies disappeared after asking 2 questions where the food was and after waiting more than 45 minutes we left and reported it to social deal. Very bad, never experienced this before. Also, other people on the terrace left at one point because they were not served at all. Bad bad and bad again.
