It was a complete disappointment. We had lunch here. The service was very friendly but severely understaffed and barely present – ​​simply unacceptable. Even worse was the quality of the food. They brought exactly what was listed on the menu. The avocado sandwich and fried egg with bread was exactly that. No butter, no sauce, nothing that would justify €15. The garnish looked like it had been sitting on the plate for days. The icing on the cake, however, was the price. €70, when we could have easily gotten it for around €50 elsewhere… which would have been acceptable if everything had been delicious. The restaurant and terrace are beautiful, though. The fountain makes it a bit noisy.

A cozy terrace, a spot in the shade, with pleasant music. On a warm day, we decided to order an ice cream sundae. What a disappointment; the ice cream was gone after 4 or 5 bites. 2 tiny scoops of ice cream, 3 strawberries cut into pieces at most, a dollop of whipped cream, a cookie, and all that for 8.90. I know the hospitality industry is struggling and prices are high, but give people value for their money; this is ridiculous!

We ate here last night. It looks like a nice place. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. My husband ordered mussels. They were undercooked. I had cod Provençal style. Unfortunately, it was a dry, small, frozen piece. Completely tasteless from the microwave. A shame.

We are very dissatisfied with the natchos we ordered. To us, it was like putting a bag of Doritos on a plate, adding some cheese and 4 sun-dried tomatoes, and then throwing it in the oven. We paid 12 euros for that. We have complained about this before, but nothing is being done about it. Take this off the menu if you don't know how it's supposed to be made. Otherwise, the waitresses were nice.

We occasionally eat nachos out, and ordered them here too. We were emptied a bag of tortilla chips onto a plate with no more than half a child's handful of cheese thrown on top, and that was it. Oh right, and a few slices of tomato on top. Next to it were three small bowls with some sauces; all in all, a complete farce.

Ordered a coffee and a cappuccino; noticed with the very first sip that both coffees were lukewarm (€3.40 and €3.95). Pointed this out to the waitress, who said: "I can make a new one, but then you'll get lukewarm coffee again because the machine can't be set any hotter!!!" Left the coffee untouched and didn't pay! Maybe it's time to invest in a new coffee machine.

Cup of coffee/tea with a small cake and delicious apple pie. Nice on the terrace in the sun. It is in/on the shopping street, but fine. Sometimes there are activities on the square as well.

Right in the center of Nunspeet, with a terrace on the square. You would think it's a great location for a nice lunch. The service is polite and prompt, but the food is a 'six out of ten'; not special or really delicious. You can't really mess up croquettes and a toasted sandwich that easily, but this was all very unimaginative and basic. The prices, on the other hand, are really on the high side. So, a fine place, but the price-quality ratio of the food ensures that this gets a 'six out of ten'.

My fiancée and I were there for the first time and it was great, but when we came back and wanted to order a beer, we were told they were out of stock. We don't recommend going there and the service is terrible.

Had dinner here through a social deal. The great thing is that you can get practically anything on the menu, though some things do require an additional charge. The food was delicious (including the Veluwe stew as a main course, and Surf and Turf). The portions were okay; it shouldn't be any less. I did miss some vegetables/salad with the meal. The service was pleasant and friendly. We had a great evening.

Quick lunch Omelet was delicious

Ate through Social Deal, friendly service. The food was soaked in cheese, salty. The friendly service did resolve the issue, but I wouldn't eat here again after this experience.

A very nice little restaurant. The only downside was that a group of people sat next to us at the table and were quite noisy. Then another group came in and sat next to them, and they (like us) practically had to shout to be heard at our own table. It's unlikely that group will be there again if we ever enjoy the food there again.

I ate here through a Social Deal. A three-course meal for €20 offers excellent value. The Zwolle mustard soup was delicious with a generous amount of salmon. The chicken satay and beef burger were good, nothing special, just good. The fries were nice and crispy. And the salted caramel panna cotta was also tasty. The waitress was super friendly; I got a bock beer instead of a blond, but I left it as is. It didn't really bother me. She regularly asks if everything is to my liking. The drink prices are disproportionate to regular prices, and if that were the case, the price-quality ratio wouldn't be good. I briefly thought there had been a mistake when I was charged over €12 for two drinks, but a Rivella costs €4.50, and if you were to eat à la carte here, you'd pay over €40. That definitely wouldn't be worth it. I had a good meal for a reasonable price.

Had lunch today through Social Deal. The soup was fine, but the fried egg sandwich... rubbery and overcooked. The bottom was black. This is absolutely unacceptable. I said something about it. The response was minimal. I paid for my drinks and left. This was the second disappointment I'll ever have through Social Deal. I'll never go back. It's a truly awful restaurant.

We had a lovely meal here. Friendly staff, fast service. The veal schnitzel was a bit dry, and a few more vegetables would have been nice, as there were very few. Parking is also nearby. All in all, highly recommended.

The carpaccio sandwich was actually quite good! Unfortunately, for €14.90 you get two slices of bread stacked diagonally, which seemed like a lot, but for one slice with toppings... I had one slice with carpaccio and one without. The bread was nice and fresh, though. Too bad, that wasn't my intention!🫣

It's strange that this has a low rating. The service is excellent. Gluten-free bread with tuna salad and a rich, fresh garnish. The house omelette is the same story. They don't skimp in the kitchen here. We'll definitely be back.

Ik heb eigenlijk maar 1 vraag aan de eigenaar van Banka Nunspeet: Ik kom al jaren bij Banka. Ook bij Banka Hattem kwam ik graag. Gisteren waren wij weer in Nunspeet. Altijd verheug ik mij op een hapje bij jullie. Ik kwam met een SocialDeal. We kunnen dan alles kiezen van de kaart. Niet heel lang geleden betaalde je alleen voor de wat luxere keuzes een kleine meerprijs. De kleine meerprijs is inmiddels vervangen voor een hoger toeslag. Maar nu ook voor de standaard hoofdgerechten. Nu betaalde je voor een schnitzel met een klein bakje saus liefst € 7 euro extra. Ook voor een zalmpje. Met alle plussen en minnen ben je nu met een SocialDeal niet goedkoper uit (gisteren betaalden we € 35 euro p.p.). Waarom is dit? Waarom niet een hoger bedrag voor een SocialDeal?

Small portions, that's what you can expect here. These pretenses don't really match the restaurant it actually is. A bit of a shame, because you can sit comfortably inside. The terrace should have been smoke-free.

Jul. 2025: Banka thrives on its terrace right across from the market square in the heart of Nunspeet. But I find €4.25 for a measly bottle of Grolsch 0.0 absolutely ridiculous. The four of us ended up paying €17. They did come with a free bowl of savory appetizer mix, which makes it 3 stars instead of 2.

We wilde lekker gaan lunchen, maar toen we de prijzen zagen, 1 kroket + brood voor 9,90 hebben we alleen drinken besteld. Niet goed op de kaart gekeken maar 1 westmalle tripel voor 8,50 is schandalige afzetterij. Dit betaal je nog lang niet in b.v Amsterdam. Tip. Vermijd deze tent!!!

On a beautiful summer day, this terrace is delightful. Children play in the fountain next to the terrace. The service is prompt and friendly. The piri-piri chicken sandwich was delicious and certainly not underdone.

Unfortunately, the pushy staff immediately offered a sandwich upon arrival. The food was good, but the staff seemed a bit unimpressed and lacked any enthusiasm. The restaurant was quite expensive.

Via Social Deal at the end of the Saturday afternoon in June we had a lovely meal outside at a beautiful market in the heart of Nunspeet. For about EUR 30,- p.p. a 3-course menu + drinks (then it has to be paid again). The beef burger was delicious.

Watch out people, drinks have become very expensive compared to other restaurants in the area, especially special beers or a nice Bacardi and Coke, it's really not fun anymore

Thought we'd have a nice meal out this afternoon. It took more than fifteen minutes before a waitress came. Ordered 2 drinks and asked for the menu. Drinks were served quickly. After 35 minutes we still didn't have a menu. Waitresses walked past and made as little eye contact as possible. Perhaps enormous workload. After 45 minutes my partner called out to the waitress who walked past us again and we asked to pay. She asked if everything was to our liking. Our answer was No, we also indicated why. Other people from other tables walked to the restaurant across the street in the meantime. I just went home and ate a salmon sandwich. Too bad, all this. Service is not worth a star

Almost €7,- per glass for an average wine is not in proportion. Menu taken via social deal, for all starters of meat and fish there is a surcharge of application. Also for a number of desserts there is a surcharge of application despite the fact that there is no price difference between these desserts. A bit strange how this was achieved.

Very nice restaurant and delicious food

Via Social Deal hier gaan lunchen. Bediending was oplettend en vriendelijk. Maar de wachttijden waren veel te lang. Ruim een uur moeten wachten op een klein kommetje soep met twee halve sneetjes brood is van de zotte. Daarna duurt het weer minstens 45 minuten voordat onze al bij aankomst bestelde broodje arriveert. En dat kiezen we maar omdat het gevraagde broodje al niet meer verkrijgbaar is op een normale lunchtijd. Broodje wat we daarvoor in de plaats krijgen, is ook nog eens maar deels belegd. Soep was goed van smaak; broodje wat minder maar oké. De normale prijzen zijn veel te hoog voor wat geboden wordt en drankjes ook nog eens aan de dure kant. Terras wel prettig; zowel zon als schaduwplekken.

We hebben lekker gegeten van ons drie gangendiner via S.D. De normale prijzen is het eten echt niet waard. Bediening was drama. Na een uur hadden we een voorgerecht en daarna waren ze ons vergeten (zoals veel gasten op terras) en duurde het een uur en kwartier voor het hoofdgerecht kwam. Op tafel naast ons werd ook flink geklaagd. Personeel liep weinig geïnteresseerd in de gasten rond. Als we zelf niet het nagerecht waren gaan halen hadden we er de hele nacht waarschijnlijk gezeten. Advies: loop er langs en zoek een ander leuk restaurant in Nunspeet.

Zeldzaam slechte bediening (en wij zijn als Amsterdammers toch echt wel wat gewend) pittig geprijsde drankjes en karig broodplankje. Geen aanrader deze tent.
